The Dark Hero
Kaileer has a dark childhood thanks to his temperament--or lack there of. It has driven him to spend most of his time on his own and, in fact, he is comfortable that way. When he is calm, he seems almost cold, bland, and indifferent to the approval of others. As he grows older and begins to realize his faults, he detaches himself from society so as to avoid emotional entanglements that might lead to his anger breaking lose.
The calm side of him is reserved, able to keep himself from showing emotion. He can become passive in the face of tragedy whereas others might be hysterical.
The Aggressor
The other side of him is the exact opposite, and does not take much provoking to appear. Almost infamous for his short temper, Kaileer has always had a tendency to pick fights. It has little to do with him wanting to be in the limelight, and more to do with him simply wanting to prove himself. He is confident in his abilities and competitive, driven by aggressive energy that he often cannot control. He is stubborn with a low tolerance for frustrations and rarely feels guilty when he has done something wrong. Along with this, he is mistrustful of compassion.
This part of his personality is what shows through when he is forced to deal with others. He is not deterred by punishment or pain and he is thick-skinned to social approval, constantly needing to prove himself. However, he is sensitive to comments and attacks on him. He is boastful, brusque, and belligerent, and always wants to be the leader in a group.
Not everything about this side of him is bad though. His stubbornness translates into perseverance. He will always finish something he started, and will always strive to be on top. He also has the ability to tune into the weaknesses of others and use that knowledge against them.

Kaileer was born to a family of torn lives. His father was not a member of the Hakemoto clan like his mother. She married outside of the clan, and Kaileer inherited the name Cein'lys from his father. Because of the conditions of his birth he was, at first, rejected as a descendant of the clan.
He first started showing temperament problems when he was barely old enough to speak. And when he was old enough to throw a punch, he was already getting into fights. The anger would flare up so suddenly that his parents would not know when to expect it and even if they did, by the time they moved to stop him he had already exploded. Eventually, his father left because of it.
After seeing first hand on several occasions, particularly when the young Kaileer attacked one of the clan leaders, they agreed to allow him to learn the ways of the clan to try to suppress his anger. It worked miraculously, but made the anger flares all the more dangerous.
Kaileer spent most of his childhood this way, like a pot waiting to boil over.
He was first introduced to shinobi at the age of nine when he was taken into the city for the first time. He was awestruck by what he saw. But the trip did not last long before he got into an argument with a particularly haughty, young shinobi. It ended in a nasty fight and Kaileer was practically dragged back home. Whenever he brought up the shinobi after, his mother refused to hear of it, telling him the way he behaved, he would never become one.
He fought them about it for the next year and a half until he finally gave in... Or so he told them. One night, he snuck away from his house to where the clan's scrolls were kept and spent the night through copying everything in them. The very next day, with the copied scrolls safely tucked away, he denounced himself of any relation to the Hakemoto clan, that he would keep the name Cein'lys, and left.
He ran as far as he could, finding himself in Kumogakure, one of the shinobi villages he had heard about. Despite his mothers claims, he was accepted into the academy there. Though it did take longer to graduate thanks to his short temper, his prowess as a fighter and a tactical thinker earned him the title of genin, the first step in his quest to become a shinobi. |

Kaileer was born to a family of torn lives. His father was not a member of the Hakemoto clan like his mother. She married outside of the clan, and Kaileer inherited the name Cein'lys from his father. Because of the conditions of his birth he was, at first, rejected as a descendant of the clan.
He first started showing temperament problems when he was barely old enough to speak. And when he was old enough to throw a punch, he was already getting into fights. The anger would flare up so suddenly that his parents would not know when to expect it and even if they did, by the time they moved to stop him he had already exploded. Eventually, his father left because of it.
After seeing first hand on several occasions, particularly when the young Kaileer attacked one of the clan leaders, they agreed to allow him to learn the ways of the clan to try to suppress his anger. It worked miraculously, but made the anger flares all the more dangerous.
Kaileer spent most of his childhood this way, like a pot waiting to boil over.
He was first introduced to shinobi at the age of nine when he was taken into the city for the first time. He was awestruck by what he saw. But the trip did not last long before he got into an argument with a particularly haughty, young shinobi. It ended in a nasty fight and Kaileer was practically dragged back home. Whenever he brought up the shinobi after, his mother refused to hear of it, telling him the way he behaved, he would never become one.
He fought them about it for the next year and a half until he finally gave in... Or so he told them. One night, he snuck away from his house to where the clan's scrolls were kept and spent the night through copying everything in them. The very next day, with the copied scrolls safely tucked away, he denounced himself of any relation to the Hakemoto clan, that he would keep the name Cein'lys, and left.
He ran as far as he could, finding himself in Kumogakure, one of the shinobi villages he had heard about. Despite his mothers claims, he was accepted into the academy there. Though it did take longer to graduate thanks to his short temper, his prowess as a fighter and a tactical thinker earned him the title of genin, the first step in his quest to become a shinobi.
the second attribute is denied. The only people who can sense chakra passively is oracles (sensor discipline), and their distance is severely limited. |

The Dark Hero
Kaileer has a dark childhood thanks to his temperament--or lack there of. It has driven him to spend most of his time on his own and, in fact, he is comfortable that way. When he is calm, he seems almost cold, bland, and indifferent to the approval of others. As he grows older and begins to realize his faults, he detaches himself from society so as to avoid emotional entanglements that might lead to his anger breaking lose.
The calm side of him is reserved, able to keep himself from showing emotion. He can become passive in the face of tragedy whereas others might be hysterical.
The Aggressor
The other side of him is the exact opposite, and does not take much provoking to appear. Almost infamous for his short temper, Kaileer has always had a tendency to pick fights. It has little to do with him wanting to be in the limelight, and more to do with him simply wanting to prove himself. He is confident in his abilities and competitive, driven by aggressive energy that he often cannot control. He is stubborn with a low tolerance for frustrations and rarely feels guilty when he has done something wrong. Along with this, he is mistrustful of compassion.
This part of his personality is what shows through when he is forced to deal with others. He is not deterred by punishment or pain and he is thick-skinned to social approval, constantly needing to prove himself. However, he is sensitive to comments and attacks on him. He is boastful, brusque, and belligerent, and always wants to be the leader in a group.
Not everything about this side of him is bad though. His stubbornness translates into perseverance. He will always finish something he started, and will always strive to be on top. He also has the ability to tune into the weaknesses of others and use that knowledge against them.

He ran as far as he could, finding himself in Kumogakure, one of the shinobi villages he had heard about. Despite his mothers claims, he was accepted into the academy there. Though it did take longer to graduate thanks to his short temper, his prowess as a fighter and a tactical thinker earned him the title of genin, the first step in his quest to become a shinobi.
