You're counting white text?If not, then a mere interjection, which surely is no better? Though isn't an emoticon analogous to a facial expression and thus not a response, questioning or otherwise?And how, precisely, could a gonk be construed as a question?

However if it is not a even a reply, but only a pixelled representation of a facial expression, how can it be breaking the rule of replying only with another question if it is not even a reply?
