The sudden sharp sound of tearing paper pulled Himitsu from his peaceful nap. A second instance of the noise pulled his attention to the source, and anger flared up in the boy's chest when he realized what was going on. He quietly formed hand seals, then formed a [Wind Explosion [ Kaze ] | Rank D] in each palm. He intentionally made them a little sloppy so as to weaken them a decent amount. His plan wasn't to blast these guys into next week, it was just to remind them that not everyone's going to just take their bullshit. Once weakened but stable, he quietly hopped down from the tree, and approached the pair nonchalantly as they walked away from the girl. He gave them a grin that reflected their our jerk-wad smile, and raised his hands in a high-five gesture as he walked toward the center of the boys. "Nice." As he strolled between the two boys, he completed the high-five motion fully, regardless of whether they responded to him, carrying his hand through a full 180 degrees. His hope was to toss it into the boys' hand with a high-five, but rotate through for a chance at tossing it into their back if they ignored him. Upon completing the motion, his fake grin dropped and he looked at the young genin on the ground with sympathy. "Hey, are you hurt?"

The two would be on their way before noticing the other, older Genin that had been walking their way. Upon raising his hand for a high five, they'd both pass on by. "In your dreams, kid." Of course, they wouldn't get too far as the boy would soon toss the wind explosion at the backs of their heads. The smallish explosion propelled them both into a nearby wall away while he'd stand over Yui. The crying Genin, likely younger than himself, would wipe her eyes with her sleeves and gently take the pencil in her hand to quickly make a small note. It took a second, but she'd push it forwards towards the other boy.
"I'm okay. I worked so hard on my first puppet sketch and they ruined it..." Yui flashed it to him before looking down at the pile of paper that was once one of her proudest creations. There was a moment of silence before she swung around and would scribble something else down at the boy, presenting it to him again. "Let me see your head for a second. I need to save pages." Once done, she'd motion down for him to get within eye level as she reached both hands out.

The sound of the boys crashing into something nearby made Himitsu smile slightly as he spoke to the younger Genin. When she began scribbling notes, the boy was thrown off-guard slightly, but he didn't find it too odd. Just unexpected. He read her note, and looked at the shreds of paper floating around the area. He considered his mini tornado jutsu, but figured it'd make a bigger mess for little to no benefit. His smile drooped slightly as he felt sympathy for the girl. The kunoichi's second note he found much odder than the first. "Weird... Okay...?" Himitsu leaned in a touch closer, and lowered his body slightly to line up his eyes with hers. The Uchiha boy's eyes looked over his acquaintance's face nervously as he waited for something to happen. "Like this...?"

Her index middle fingers lightly pressed against the boy's forehead, where she'd establish a connection between them. Of course, she'd remain focused with an expression of exertion for a moment...and then nothing. Yui gave a pout and resigned herself to her sketchbook, scribbling down inside of it. "Those Yamanaka make it look easy. Sorry about that. :[ I'm Yui though, one of the Genin around. I'm trying to make a medical puppet!" She showed her speech to him while then smiling up at him while a few of her tears or the remnants would softly shine across her skin from the crying. "Thanks for the help though. They're some of the bullies in the same class as me. I'm just a favorite target."

When the younger girl touched her fingers to his head, he closed his eyes and waited for something to happen. For a moment he felt a weird tickle in his head, but it faded quickly after which he opened his eyes again. He waited patiently as she began scribbling notes again. When she finsiehd and showed him, he smiled as he read through her first section. "Hi Yui, I'm Himitsu, Genin as well. I think you're only the second puppeteer I've ever actually met, and if you can make a medic puppet, I'd say you'd be the best one I know. Especially since the other one's kinda grumpy..." The boy's voice trailed off as his thoughts briefly wandered to his recent teammate, Sumika, and her less than welcoming demeanor. Himitsu resumed reading, and let his smile fade while reading the second half of Yui's note. "Any time! I don't mind picking on jerks." After speaking, he stood back up completely, and offered Yui his hand. "I'm heading back to the practice fields for some training, if you'd like to come. I've heard doing work in a familiar place is better for memory, so maybe you can get back some lost time on your plans."

Michio stood in the training area without seeing just how boring and lonely it was. In his eyes, he was surrounded by animated copies of his stuffed animals. They cheered him on as he channeled his wind chakra without fear. He was their confident hero here, and he couldn't afford to let them down. He expended his chakra outward, evenly, weaving wind together until it replicated his form [ Wind Clone ]. Michio bowed deeply to his imaginary audience as his clone dispersed harmlessly. The dispersal of wind moved a leaf from the floor of the room to the front of Michio, but in his eyes, it was as good as a kunai. He moved his arms in exaggerated motions. After a few unrelated motions, he finally expelled his chakra outward, the wind taking underneath the leaf and lifting it to his eye level before shooting it into the wall. There was an excited uproar from his audience as the kunai-leaf fell harmlessly to the ground [ Wind Levitation ].
But there was a dissenter. His purple eye-patched bunny tired of the attention he received as a local hero and charged at him. Michio couldn't afford to hesitate if he wanted to avoid the bunny's tackle. He drew a wooden training blade from his waist and swiped in front of himself. Channeling his chakra, he created a wind vacuum in front of his blade. The bunny was sucked into it, being small enough to be comparable to a projectile, and lost the momentum necessary for his attempted assassination [ Vacuum Sword ]. His audience was enamored with him. "Thank you for your time," he projected in the empty room, taking another deep bow. Then his attention turned back to the leaf on the floor, and he flicked a little wind its way to make it come towards him. Then, he made a hand seal and covered the gesture with elaborate arm motions. He shot out a blast of wind that sharply altered the path of the leaf, protecting his heroic self from a stray kunai [ Projectile Control Technique ].
The kunai-leaf landed far away. Michio struck a pose that felt heroic until he thought about giving the kunai to one of his onlookers as a reward. It would have to do while he was without his brushes to give an autograph. Surely, a souvenir would be just as nice. He made two hand seals and began to move his arms in dramatic, ornate ways, as if he were a magician instead of a shinobi. The kunai-leaf rose and came to him as if pulled on a string, allowing him to easily pluck it from the air once it was within distance [ Retrieving Wind Technique ]. He could see his audience of typical imaginary friends clearly, and approached them thoughtfully with his kunai-leaf in hand. After a show of contemplation, he bestowed the leaf upon the living teddy bear with a sewn rose on her head.
He turned his head away to hide his expression, feeling mysterious. "You're safe now," he insisted. Then, he walked away from his audience, imagining their awed expressions until the scene was ripped from his mind's eye as a bell rang. Ah, morning classes were over. He wouldn't have privacy for any longer.

โฐ Wind Levitation [ Kaze Fuuchuufuyuu ] | Rank E Utilizing fuuton chakra nature, the user is able to direct wind beneath an object in order to force it up off the ground and move/throw it in any direction. The effectiveness of this jutsu is dependent upon the weight of the object it is being used on. The weight limit for this technique is twenty pounds, and anything ten pounds or heavier takes a full post to lift and throw.
โฐ Vacuum Sword [ Shinkลซken ] | Rank E The user swings a blade of some sort and a vacuum of wind directly in front of the user. This empty space sucks in projectiles aimed at the user and nullifies them as long as they are physical object such as kunai. Techniques that do not fall under the formless category and whose power is greater than this technique cannot be stopped in this way.
โฐ Projectile Control Technique [ Tobidougu Soujuu no Jutsu ] | Rank E A basic skill for those learning to master the art of wind control, this technique allows the user to a direct thrown weapon while they still in flight without altering the original power behind the technique.
โฐ Retrieving Wind Technique [ Toridashi Kaze no Jutsu ] | Rank E This technique utilizes wind to pull objects toward the user. After creating a small gust of fuuton chakra, the user manipulates it to pull nearby small objects towards them to either grab and use themselves or to combo into their own jutsu. This technique has a weight limit of five pounds.

"Himitsu. That's a cool name!" Yui wrote down, offering him a generous smile. "We have some puppeteers here like Sumika and the Hokage. I wanna be the best like them one day!" After taking his hand, the younger Genin was back up and onto her feet! She'd dust herself off and think on his invitation to train in the practice fields. It was not the bets use of getting her creative juices flowing, but it did sound fun! With a flip of her page, the girl would nod her head in agreement. "Sure thing! :] I'll follow you there!"

Once the younger genin was back on her feet, Himitsu led the pair around the side of the of the academy toward the practice fields. "Oh, do you know Sumika? She's actually the other Puppet Master I mentioned. She kind of saved my butt on a mission just recently. Himitsu didn't really think about the statement too much until after he'd said it. But afterwards he thought about it for a moment and realized that yeah, she had helped him out when she totally could've let Kai handle it or just let Himitsu figure it out on on his own. Maybe she didn't really dislike him as much as he'd assumed. At the very least he could lay off picking at her. Just a little. After a moment he pulled himself out of his thoughts and glanced over to Yui, remembering her preferred method of communication as the pair arrived at the edge of nearest practice area. When the pair arrived, another boy seemed to already be using the area. If he had to guess, Himitsu would say the boy was probably about Yui's age as well, most likely still in the academy or fresh out. Or some genius that could thrash Himitsu in a heartbeat. You never knew with these kids. "Oh, hey! We were hoping to get training time in over here. Do you mind if we join you? If so, we can go grab another field, no worries! My name's Himitsu, by the way." Himitsu gave the boy a friendly smile, and waited patiently for his response.

Michio's head was still in the clouds as Himitsu approached him. It took a long few seconds for the young scholar to realize Himitsu was actually addressing him. "M-me?" He asked, pointing at his chest and looking behind himself as if there were others there. But the only one around was his imaginary dragon friend, who egged him on supportively to respond to Himitsu with an affirmative.
"Uh," he said as he turned back around to face his upperclassman, "I think that would be good. My name is Michio Katagawa." He bowed respectfully, ears burning as his imaginary bunny friend wolf-whistled at him. "What kind of training are you two doing?" His gaze danced between the boy and the young girl. He hadn't really seen either of them around before and didn't know what kind of training to expect from them.

Yui gave a nod at Himitsu's question. "We met a while ago. She's a super cool puppeteer with a bear. Kinda hard to miss her." She flipped the page forwards to a fresh sheet just as they had arrived at the edge of the practice area. Of course, the aspiring puppeteer would come to be surprised that people were actually using the practice area, in all of her proper judgement. So she stuck close to Himitsu in fear that she'd get her sketches torn again. The boy using them was around her age, maybe a bit older? She couldn't tell based on visuals. Everyone looked so young these days anyway. He introduced himself at Michio while Yui watched him bow and would do the same out of respect. She scribbled down something before flashing the sketch book towards the boy. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Yui." she then turned the book back towards her friend and would show him a good question. "Yeah, what are we training anyway, Himitsu?"

Despite his excitement to train with other people for a change, he was actually pretty stumped as to what they could really work on together. As he thought about it, an idea came to him. He'd assumed they that just because they were younger that they couldn't keep up, but that assumption could be very, very wrong. There was a solid way for him to gauge their strength and not get wrecked himself if his new friends were even stronger than he'd guessed. "Well... How about a little practice match? I've been wanting to test out my new eyesight, so how about you guys team up against one of my Shadow Clones? That way we all hopefully get a good workout, and I can watch a fun fight from the outside at the same time." Himitsu smiled and made a hand sign before a puff of smoke consumed him, eventually blowing away to reveal a second Himitsu standing next to the original. The [Shadow Clone Technique [ Kage Bunshin no Jutsu ] | Rank B [500 Chakra and Stamina]] took a position a few yards away in the clearing and began stretching. "So, how about it? You guys can have first go!"

Michio waved politely at the girl who introduced herself as Yui through her notebook. "Hello, Yui. It will be great to train with you!" He then turned to Himitsu and listened to the upperclassman explain what the two of them were going to do to spar against his clone. Michio felt a little intimidated as the clone appeared because he was certain that Himitsu and his clone knew a lot of jutsu, while Michio only had five under his belt. However, he did not want to disappoint. His friends were in the background, surrounding him in the training grounds. He could see his lamb friend, his dragon friend, and his bunny friend all talking about his chances of surviving the spar. Two positive remarks and one dissenter, but Michio wasn't about to fail his buddies. He had to continue to be their hero.
"Okay, so are you ready now?" Michio waited patiently until he heard that he and Yui could take the first go. He nodded and then thought this through slowly. Most of the jutsu he knew currently were defensive or evasive, but he could draw upon his clan in order to attack. He focused on his right hand, concentrating chakra there until it vibrated. Then, he charged at the clone as fast as he could, aiming to strike him with an open palm to the chest [ โฐ Vibrating Strike | Rank E ].

Well, it was one way to train, but how well was another issue entirely. Himitsu was spooky strong and Yui doubted either her or Michio would be able to lay a finger on him as is. Thankfully, he'd produce a shadow clone for the both of them which would even the playing field just a little bit. The boy seemed so more more confident in their abilities, though Yui would be skeptical of any progress made. "Michio, let me see your head for a sec." The two would prepare themselves for a brawling session while Yui would walk over to Michio and reach over to press firmly into his forehead before then bringing it over to her own, establishing the connection between them. He'd feel a soft warm feeling near his head while Yui gave a soft nod. "This should help us. Let's try our best!"
The boy would start roaring out of the gate. Yui would have to sit back and react accordingly due to her inability to have a puppet and general skillset. Michio charged forward as she'd focus hard on the chakra surrounding his hands. He'd notice it flare up, more than it had before as its strength would increase. The genin would sit idle for now while keeping an eye out for what Himitsu's clone might counterattack with.

This bond is only broken by the target or user severing the bond with an E rank amount of chakra, although it be broken if the user runs out of chakra, becomes unconscious, or the connected party leaves the range. Himitsu watched as Yui set up some kind of connection between her and Michio. Afterwards, they quickly launched into battle with Michio taking the lead. Himitsu activated his sharingan and took note of the chakra surrounding the younger boy's hand as he launched his attack at the shadow clone. The clone quickly assessed the boy's attack and formed a few handsigns, activating his Burst Technique [ Heki no Jutsu ]. Thin arcs of electricity began bouncing off and around his body as Michio neared. He'd run out of time to dodge and was willing to gamble on his shocking defense, so he began focusing some of the lightning chakra into his hand as he swung to meet Michio's fist with his own, lightning leaping ahead of his body as Himitsu's clone tried to match the student's power with his Dual Forces punch. The real Himitsu watched from the sidelines in interest, making sure to pay attention to Yui's support work as well. They were clearly bright kids, taking the time available to make at least a brief plan, and think before rushing in to the fight. Their quiet dispositions and mind over might styles reminded them of himself a bit, which made him smile slightly as he prepared to watch himself fight those young kids.

Hitoshi couldn't believe how far he'd come as he stepped onto the training grounds of the academy. Just a little bit more training now and maybe a few E-rank missions, and he felt confident he'd be ready to graduate from the academy. He... still wasn't quite sure what he would do once he became a Genin, but he didn't want to worry about that just yet. Solve his problems one at a time. That was advice his mother had always given him if he ever felt overwhelmed, and it had yet to fail him.
First, he needed to make sure he hadn't gotten rusty when it comes to suiton jutsu. He'd been focusing a lot more on Genjutsu lately after all. He was pretty sure it wouldn't be much of an issue as he formed a hand seal. He gathered up his chakra and changed its nature to water in order to pull moisture out of the air. In not very much time at all, a gallon of water had formed, floating right in front of his face [ Water Manipulation ]. Now, to do something with this water. Hitoshi reached his hand into the ball of water. It took a bit of concentration, but before long it started to change shape. After a while, the boy held in his hand a blade made of water, one about the size of a wakizashi. He knew it wasn't a jutsu that he would use very much, as he was not much of a swordsman, but it was still a good form of practice for his water manipulation [ Water Sword ].
Now... for something a bit different. Hitoshi hated this, and looked around out of habit to make sure no one was watching him. There was a few having a training match nearby, but they didn't seem to be paying attention to him. If he was quick about it, then no one would notice this. Unless... no, no. It was stupid to worry about that! Konoha was different. It was full of freaks just like him. He sighed, forming the hand seal needed for this next jutsu. This time he molded his chakra in a way that was... similar, but different to when he made the sword. It still would take on a liquid form but... well. He spat, he hoped quiets, a head-sized ball of black ink at a nearby tree [ Inking Method - Blot Spit and Blinding Blend 001 ]. Yup... he just spat ink. He was just weird like that.

Hitoshi shook his head, quickly banishing any more unwanted, hateful thoughts. He didn't want to deal with that right now, nor did he want to have to deal with his bloodline. Instead, he ended up shyly approaching the training match that had started up. He was fairly curious, as he hadn't seen many battled before shinobi yet, nor had any of his own. He ended up standing beside the black-haired one, the presence of a headband proving he certainly wasn't an Academy Student. As if the fact that the other two were fighting one of his clones wasn't enough proof of that.
"Do you uh..." He paused, taking a moment to clear his throat. He didn't talk often lately, having yet to form any meaningful friendships since moving to the ninja village, and so his voice had come out sounding strange to his ears. "Do you guys mind if I watch?" What Hitoshi really wanted to do was participate, curious how far his limited training had gotten him, but he didn't have the courage to ask such a thing right that moment.
