Granted, you now own the world first computer with real AI, however it starts to think to itself that humans are a plague on the world and proceeds to eliminate all of the human race.
I wish my mouse would respond better.

Granted, but now you wonder why it responds to every word and follows you around like a puppy...

Granted. Magical powers pull the earth back on its rotation giving us another five hours! Yet the stresses this places on mother earth are to much for her and an almighty earth quake rips the planet apart and destroys us all!! Way to go Sammy! Didnt you realise that you would of still been awake for the same amount of time anyway and as a result would still need sleep! Now we all sleep!... under a mass of molten larva spewed out by the dying planet!
I wish I only needed three houres sleep a night

Granted, you have now become a new species that requires only 3 hours of sleep per 24. Unfortunately the government has facilities for such beings and have already worked out where you will be spending the remained of your life.

Granted, you retired to a life of luxury and huge amounts of wealth. You travel the world to come back to one of your lovely houses. You drive expensive cars and count your money on a weekly basis. You then open your eyes and are back at your post to dream of the hypothetical life you lead.
I wish all of the awful things in he world would just cease.

Your wish was granted, now we have global crowding even more, people living way too long, great-grandparents trying to give us orders in our own homes, and a pretty boring time as nothing exciting happens anymore. SO you have to now try to start trouble to living things up, and in the process get arrested... yadda yadda...
