Rumors and Plants (NightWerewolf here)

Eva froze her fork in midair. Slowly, she put it down. "No. My parents are not coming here. My mother will just ask me questions that I really don't want to answer. Maybe another time."
Like never. She thought.

Alex shrugged. "Like I said, just a thought." He said finishing breakfast. He took the plate and put it in the sink.

Eva put her plate in the sink as Alex did. "Oh yeah and maybe my family and your family should have a get together." She said sarcastically. Riley meowed and Eva shot a look at her. "It's called being sarcastic. Meaning I don't really want it to happen." Riley meowed again.

Alex grinned and leaned back on the counter. "You know, I agree with the cat on this one." He chuckled a little.

Eva turned to Alex. "Traitor. Both of you. I can't believe it. In my own house." Riley jumped on the counter and meowed. "And to think I was going to get you a giant fish." Eva said to the cat. She looked back at Alex and sighed. "Fine, but if any blood is spilled I'm not cleaning it up."

Alex chuckled. "It was bound to happen eventually Eva. You should know that. And if any blood is spilt, I'll clean it up. How about that?" He smiled at her.  

[elphy_and_fiyero]

"Of course it was bound to happen. I just didn't think it would happen so soon." She leaned against the counter and then smirked as she got an idea. "You know if we're going to have this little get together, you're going to plan it. Put it together, make the plans, set up decorations. Everything. Although I'll help you set up, but you have to plan it. All of it, if you really want this get together."

"Me?!" Alex blinked. He had never set up anything before besides his bed. "Ok then. It's a deal."  

[elphy_and_fiyero]

She sighed and then realized what she had just done. "I'm going to regret this, I know it. But just a further reference, I'm really sorry about what my mother might say to your mother."
 

[NightWerewolf]

"Don't worry about it. I'm more worried about what my mother might say to you. My parents are good people... but they seem to be a little suspicious do to the rumors and everything." Alex admitted.  

[elphy_and_fiyero]

Eva gasped. "The rumors! I completely forget." A million things ran through her mind. "My mother's going to go bazurk! Not to mention I'll never hear the end of it from my brothers."
 

[NightWerewolf]

Alex blinked. "Hey, calm down, they're not true. You have nothing to worry about." He said reassuringly.  

[elphy_and_fiyero]

Eva laughed. "You don't know my family. Especially, my brothers." She put her head in her hands. "Urgg, this is horrible!" She looked at him. "True or not, I'll never hear the end of it."

"Ok then... Maybe our families meeting isn't such a great idea." Alex said.

The phone rang just as Eva was about to say something. "Hello?" She said into the receiver. "Hey Bob." She paused as her brother started to talk really fast. "Woah, slow down Bobby. Ok, now what?" She asked her brother.

"We're coming over." He laughed.

"What?! Since when?" She asked.

"Since mom found out there's a guy in your house. And was it that same guy we saw a few days ago?" Eva winced and gritted her teeth together.

"No." She lied. Bobby laughed.

"That means yes. We'll be over tomorrow. See ya sis." The phone clicked and Eva stared at it. "They're coming over. Tomorrow."
