Tiny Toons is one that I haven't seen since I was a kid. I do remember the characters I liked, though. There was Plucky, Shirley the Loon, Furrball, Fifi la Fume, and Gogo Dodo. For some reason, I didn't care for Buster, Babs, or even Bugs.

Not to mention Babs' rant: "I miss my home! I miss my family!" [Buster soaks her with a water pistol again] "I MISS BEING *DRY*!!" DW

I also like when Hamton and Plucky were driving for almost the whole movie to Happy World Land. The group rides the monorail around the park and then they leave. lol

What was Plucky's baby brother's name, the one that always said,"the ball go down the hole"?

Okay, somebody mentioned The Pirates of Dark Water! I loved that show. It really ticked me off when, after watching almost every episode, I found out that they never finished the final one. So Wren never did find the 13th treasure of Rule...Bastards! And who remembers the episode where he was transformed into one of the flying lizard things(can't remember what they're called) and sold to the captain of the Malestrom?
I have the Thundercats shirt, and I wear it, because that show was pretty darned cool back when I was a kid. Voltron was also awesome and lets not forget G-Force, although the last was heavily change from the original for American audiances...phooey.
I recently sat down with my little brothers, more than a decade younger than I am and both Power Rangers freaks, and the original American series was on TV. They were staring at me with huge eyes when not only could I name all five, actually six, rangers, but I told them how that particular episode would end. They thought the show was new or something, lol.
SWAT Katz, also a classic that I catch on Boomerang from time to time. Jake and Chance, aka T-Bone and Razor, were the two guys I never missed of a saturday morning.
Recently a co-worker and I got in to a competition to see who remembered the most cartoon themesongs from our 'golden years'. It was a whole lot like this thread. Good to know I'm not the only person out there who still likes to sit down at watch some nostalgia.
P.S. Who else hates it when they remake the old cartoons, raise your hand!

You know, I hear lots of ppl complain about cartoons that have been remade, but I can't think of a single one. I'm at a loss. I know of shows that I loved as a kid, but the newest seasons of them are reheheheeeaally stupid(though they're live action shows). There was All That and. . .man, I'm really at a loss. I know there were other shows, but I can't remember the names.
On another subject, who here loves these new cartoons that often make references to all the old shows that we used to watch(mainly on Adult Swim)?

my favorite childhood cartoon was My little Pony
I know what you mean about anime being ruined by american licensing - Watching saiormoon, for example, in Japanese with English subs is liek watching a totally different show then watching it with the English dubbing.

When they re-make shows, they modernize them which defeats the purpose of releasing the shows. For instance George of the Jungle comes to mind. The new version makes George look and sound like a complete git. It's a terrible make.
