Pru had been trying to pay attention to the time, and this was about the end of their time at the pitch. She whistled sharply, and gave the timeout motion again. "Alright, that's the end of tryouts! Joel and I are going to talk about the lineup, and while we do that, I want all of you to help put everything away." Better than all of them huddled around nearby while she and her VC tried to come up with a decent team. She had a good enough idea of who she wanted where in her mind, anyways.

Pru, in her final year at Hogwarts, had finally reached a level of zen (at least in relation to Quidditch), where she really didn't care what happened in tryouts. Well, she cared about putting a team together, but she was not. Going. To. Stress. About. It. And that was final, she reflected firmly. Next year the team would be Joel's, and it would all be far beyond her control. She set the forms down on the small table she'd levitated out, and set up the rest of the equipment, before starting her stretches.

Gid hopped to the pitch early, following a bit behind Pru. This was her last year, and he wondered if she was nervous. He would be, in that position. When he saw her set papers out, he grabbed one and filled it out, humming quietly to himself. He was ready for this year, his broom having upgraded modifications that would allow him to fly with even more ease. It would be great!

Kimberly skipped onto the field, clutching her new Nimbus in her hands. This wouldbe the first year she used her own broom during tryouts. Hopefully, the results would be better than last years. Of course, she knew she would make reserve again this year because their captain was an amazing Keeper, but she was okay with that. As she approached the few players that were already there, most of them she recognized from last year. "Good to see you again, Captain!" Kim greeted Pru as she filled out her form and returned it. She had looked up to the seventh year since her first year, and even more when she tried out last year. This year, she had to reclaim her first reserve spot on the team! After her form was completed, she headed over to where Brandon was, set her beloved broom down carefully and started stretching, nodding to her friend in greeting.

With her head held high, Kenzie trotted onto the pitch, ready for tryouts. Looking around, she noticed that everyone here was older than she was, which made her feel a little intimidated. Have all of these students played Quidditch before? They were probably a lot better at it than she was. However, the blonde refused to give up so easily. This was the day Fianna had waited all summer for, and she bounded out onto the pitch to try her luck at making the team. Last term she'd been the understudy of one of the older girls, but now she felt like maybe she had a shot of doing it, especially now since she had her own broomstick. All she wanted, and needed, was the chance to prove to the Captain she was ready for her chance.
Wearing a bright red Gryffindor Tee shirt over a white long-sleeved Tee-shirt, jeans, and a nicely worn-in pair of sneakers, with her long red hair pulled back into a ponytail and tied with red and gold hair ribbons, Fianna was ready to fly. She quickly saw she wasn't the first out there, as already there was a crowd of students.
"Hi, Captain Pru," she said cheerfully, as she collected a form to fill out. As the little red-haired girl filled out her information, she hoped there'd be space for her on the team, and that Aria would be in the stands to watch like she said she would.
