Poking her head between every couple of Gryffingdor students Serthia inspects the soup. "None here," she calls. Scouring the Hufflepuff table she notices something laying next to the potatoes. "Oh dear," she mutters, holding up a green strip of cloth that looked suspiciously like a the green appendages of a carrot. "I think you better come see this Meady," she says and waves her over.

After finding all of her things in their proper place in the common room, Amdise headed downstairs to catch a bite to eat. She felt a bit peckish after the extremely long day, and wasn't really in the mood to go to bed hungry.
As she entered the Great Hall, she scanned for the Ravenclaw table and walked over. Naturally, she looked for a friendly face, and sat down beside a few strangers she had seen in the common room earlier. With an eager expression, she grasped a cup of soup and a piece of bread and began to dip the crust into the soup very slowly. Every so often her head would snap up in attention because of some loud noise (yelling or talking about food), only to smile around herself and continue eating.

Was that an oh dear? Meady stares at Serithia before rushing over, shoving some other students out of the way. "what? what?" Green... No... No... "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! NOT MY CARROT!" Meady purses her lips and takes the green strip of cloth. Most definitely from the carrot. "This means war."

Serithia grabs two cups and murmurs a spell, then hands one to Meady. Speaking into her cup she says "Aye, sergeant!" and it echoes out of Meady's cup. Serithia walks down the table questioning random Hufflepuffs as she goes.
