*with Tes being very insistent on keeping him occupied all night, he didn't have much chance to sneak away. Granted, he could have used a sleep spell on him, but the man was clearly already suspicious as it was. sweatdrop On the one hand, it was almost nice to be getting the extra attention for once, but at the same time, Tes is far from the gentleman that Kyle is. Besides, surely anyone given the opportunity would go for Kyle in an instant, unless perhaps they were both blind and daft. talk2hand

As such, he doesn't imagine the guy has been stood up much in his life, which makes him feel all the more terrible for having missed their date without so much as a word to him all evening sweatdrop Of course, Tes would probably say what he always did in the past when it came to charming men: "That oughta knock 'em down a peg". rolleyes Having his own oversized ego, one would think he'd have more sympathy for others with oversized egos, but no. His apparently needs to be the largest stare

Although, Kyle didn't seem like the type with that kind of ego. Handsome as he was, he didn't come off as full of himself the way that Tes and other men he's dated were like. Kyle was different. Kind. Considerate. Genuine.

Carefully rolling out of bed to not disturb his husband, Ryzan grabs his phone and tip toes into the bathroom to text Kyle an apology. Hopefully forgiveness was amongst his many desirable traits.* sweatdrop

At some point in the early morning, Kyle was awoken from his slumber as he was slumped over the table in the bar fast asleep. He had finished the entire bottle of wine he had ordered and had a couple of appetizers while he waited patiently for Ryzan. To his surprise, an early morning staff member with coffee in hand gently put her hand on his shoulder. It’s not often he’s the one being taken care of. As the trusted assistant to the Mistress, he’s the one who takes care so the gesture of this young lady is much appreciated. As he takes the cup of coffee from her, he smiles that charming smile and says an extremely polite “thank you” to the girl who simply freezes in place and turns 10 shades of red before she briskly walks away while giggling up a storm. He’s become accustomed to this type of reaction.

As he drinks his coffee and pulls himself together for the day he ponders. It’s not the first time he’s been stood up. In fact, it happens more often than one would believe. People get busy and life happens. But having someone literally cling to you and propose marriage seemed like a slam dunk as such blatant actions could hardly be misread. But, perhaps he did. Perhaps it’s a simple misunderstanding. This could be how the people of Ryzan’s world communicate. Ryzan must think highly of him (as he thinks highly of Ryzan) and THAT is the way one from Norath communicates those feelings. It has got to be cultural.

Just as Kyle finishes his coffee, he receives a text message from Ryzan apologizing for missing dinner. He responds back asureing Ryzan it’s totally fine and that he completely understands. He also states HE is the one who should be apologizing for being so presumptuous and rude.

Just as he hits “send,” Kyle looks up from his iphone and sees the Mistress standing right there with her arms crossed. Why it must be SO NICE to have such a leisurely position of employ to just sit around and drink coffee all morning keeping tabs on instagram, snapchat, facebook and streaming dank memes……isn’t it Kyle. mad Her tone dripping with sarcasm. Kyle slowly puts his phone away and stands as he focuses on remaining calm. In this type of situation, the worst thing he could possibly do is panic. My apologies, Mistress. I’ll get your latte immediately.

A portal opens near the food tables and Liada bee lines it for the coffee. Doing late night research/partying whatever fits her fancy in between trying to do this filming thing was getting weary. As much as she's been having with it, she also had a business to run and was wondering when they would finally wrap up this movie. She had projects to get back to at Manor town. stare Piling on her plate with protein and carbs she floats to her chair before being hauled into makeup.

Emerging from the front of Red Castle the elf yawns heavy and lightly scratches her head. It took forever to get out of bed again but mainly because Showcase refused to want to leave for sleep sake. All he wanted to do today was to sleep cuddled together until the game came on later and then just couch potato the rest of the day. That part wasn't so surprising to Anira since he was a human afterall and they have their rituals of brute games they call sports. She was more surprised how much he was eager to just simple lay there in bed and cuddle. She reminded him that they both had a lot of work to do and know full well what Psy as well as Gio would do if they skipped out after the fiasco of yesterday's filming. She set an alarm on his phone to get him up a little later but pried herself out to get moving to breakfast and wardrobe.

Finally arriving at the catering area, she ordered a quad shot macchiato. When asked if she wanted food, she declined and took the coffee. As she made her way to makeup and wardrobe, she lit a clove and exhaled.

'This is the best breakfast ever...almost.' She paused momentarily, clove between her lips as she retrieved the flask from her boot and poured a generous shot into her caramel goodness.

"There we go, now it's perfect! whee " She chuckled to herself as she continued on her way.

Finally finds the Mistress as she’s arrived on set. He catches up to her as he assumes she’s making her way to her director’s chair. MISTRESS!! He catches up to her and whips out his sketches as he walks with her. Mistress Psy. I was just doing some thinking and I HAD to tell you this FABULOUS idea that just came to me last night!! It was like an EPIPHANY! emotion_awesome Snaps before turning to the first page to show her. So you know the “Jabberwocky” scene is next and Gunter and I thought it was be SPECTACULAR if we would mix things up a little bit and have EVERYONE wear BLACK for the scene!! You know…since this is going to basically be an execution scene with a white dragon. The contrast would be STRIKING!! emotion_awesome Sergio continues to flip through the pages of costume sketches to show her. And we could create a very moody broody type of atmosphere for the scene!! DARK!! SINISTER!! INTENSE!! emotion_awesome He’s hoping the Mistress can see his vision.

*arrives on set, not even sure if he's supposed to be there that day or not. sweatdrop Better to show up and not be needed than not be there if he's supposed to be in the scene, though. Since he had breakfast at home, grabs a cookie from the catering table and finds a spot to wait until he knows what's going on*

*sneaks around the set, keeping an eye out for any Minotaurs or Misas ninja Sure, the Minotaurs were probably just doing their job for the movie scene and all, but they didn't have to be so mean about it! mad Plus, they were scary looking and they smelled funny xp

However, once she gets closer to the breakfast table, she forgets all about stealth and pounces on a plate of pastries she spots* emotion_omnomnom

*barely is able to nab a scone for himself while Miro starts stuffing her face like she hasn't been fed in weeks*

*helps himself to a cup of coffee from the catering table, oblivious to anything going on around him until he's had a few sips* yum_coffee

*tries to sneak up to the catering table to grab a few pastries, only to be caught by one of the Jade Dragon employees*

Back off, dragon. mad *shoos Velcore away*

But I am hungry too! gonk That is not fair.

*hears his phone alert him of a new message as he's getting out of the shower and immediately goes to check it, face flushed and heart racing as he sees it's from Kyle. And of course he's ever the gentleman, even after being stood up, going so far as to feel like he should be the one to apologize. Nonsense talk2hand Kyle did nothing wrong.

As he begins to write out a text to tell him such, he thinks perhaps something like this would better be discussed in person. But finding the time for it sweatdrop Perhaps now was actually ideal given his husband was still sound asleep and would likely stay that way until prodded. How he was up so early all the time before being cursed still remains a mystery.

After throwing on some clothes, he heads down to the set, taking a seat in his co-director's chair, assuming the mistress and her assistant would be along shortly*  

[SP-O Wlm Dougherty]

*Grabs an iced coffee, snaps a lid on it and plunks in a straw, then takes a few sips before grabbing an apple for later. Heads over to wardrobe and makeup to see if he needs any touch ups, and takes a seat in the waiting area. Takes a few sips of his iced coffee, then pulls out the script and looks it over. Wonders what kind of changes they'll be making to the script today.* confused

All the while walking while Sergio is talking and showing her sketches, she grins at Ryzan as she approaches the director’s chair mouthing a "good morning" to him as she takes a seat. Sergio still standing by her showing her drawings while going on and on.

Kyle delivers the Mistress her latte and he smiles dashingly as he greets Ryzan. Good Morning, Ryzan. smile Kyle remains ever professional as he pulls out his ipad ready to take any notes for the Mistress and attend to her needs.

The Mistress nods to Kyle as she continues to listen to Sergio without interruption. When he’s finally finished she crosses her legs and takes a sip of her fresh latte pausing. stare So…YOU think we have all the time in the universe and should just up and have a complete overhaul on everything right away this morning. emotion_eyebrow Again, her tone dripping with sarcasm, she cocks her head to the side and stares at Sergio. Like this film isn’t already overdue. emotion_eyebrow Like TIME has no meaning or purpose. Like YOU are running this entire operation. mad Hands Kyle her latte as Sergio’s expression goes from gleeful to panic. She start to gesture and raise her voice. LIKE YOU KNOW BETTER!! stressed LIKE YOU HAVE ANY SKIN IN THIS GAME!! stressed DON’T YOU HAVE A LONG LINE OF ACTORS TO MAKEUP AND GET READY FOR TODAY’S SHOOT?!!!! GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!!! scream

*blushes at Kyle's greeting and returns it with a bashful smile of his own. However, his plan to ask the mistress to borrow him for a few moments is thwarted when he sees that she seems to be in a bit of a mood this morning sweatdrop Rather than risk putting himself in the direct line of fire by occupying her assistant, he thinks perhaps its safest to arrange their meeting at a later time.

While she's distracted with chasing off Sergio, he leans over to Kyle and whispers*
Dinner later? I promise to be there this time, no matter what it takes sweatdrop redface

*panics as she hears someone say something about a dragon and hides behind Draa, clinging to his shirt*

Oi! scream You have any idea how much this shirt costs? stressed Not that I do, but it at least -looks- expensive. ninja Either way, it's not your napkin stare
*grabs a proper napkin from the table and tries to hand it off to the cleric, but she doesn't seem to notice*

tch... guess I'll have to steal another one later...

All the supernaturals ear twinged aching from Psy's screaming. Liada nearly choked on her food being startled while Anira quietly rubbed her left ear to ease the ache.

Why...? It's too eaaaaaaaaaaaarly for this stuff! gonk She chugs a second latte down before devouring her food. Anira sits in the chair next to the fox and picks at her plate.

If Sergio is the source of her rage I can only imagine. Maybe Mr Gio ranted on her more about Taus being the legitimate father of the twins. She certainly looks like she ended up fighting all night instead of their normal routine. ninja

Lia nodded at this fact since she's seen that "didn't get laid" look on their Mistress before.
