I used to hate yaoi and curse everyone who said they did. I used to tell people they would go to hell for following along with homosexuality. But my friends kept trying to get me to read the books. I already liked manga so I read some yaoi books and I found I liked the stories. For a while I just pretended it was a boy and a girl. Now I except the fact that it's guy on guy and that it is incredibly SEXY!!!
Yuri is pretty tight too >.<
I'm bad and sinful.

For a while. Then again to be fair this was before I knew what it was. At college, a new friend that I'd just made just asked me if there I'd like to see something funny, and then she showed me this document with the title "Yami no Chat Room…" Needless to say I was immediately surprised with the M/M cyber-groping that came up (INEVITABLY, let's face it)
I was more surprised, though with the fact that I didn't mind it as much as my upbringing said I should have. I wound up asking for more things to read.
It was around then that I had to decide: be righteously offended, or keep reading.
That was around the time I started replaying FF VII… needless to say, I've not been against it since. XDD

I was kind of scared of it, especially because my friend forced me to read her yaoi manga. After that I saw a lot of yaoi fanfiction, and was like, ok i'll read it. I've loved it ever since! Amazing how curiosity and a friendly push can turn a person into a crazed yaoi fan. lol blaugh

At first, probably when I was 10 or 11, I thought it was really weird and thought that it was gross. But now can't get enough of it!!

Lenre Li At age 10 I accidently stumbled upon a SetxJou lemon fic while googling Yuugi-ou! fanfics... I was a bit shocked at first and stopped reading at the lemony part, but a few weeks later I wanted to find it again, but I stumbled upon other stuff. XD It alll spiraled up from there.
Now I have lot's of OTP's and read fanfics whenever I can, and even make up some in my head when I lack it. xd I'd even say it'd help me have a reason for living and being me... sweatdrop Everything before discovering it seemed to be a faint dream...
I never was against it, but that 'fic was hardcore... o.o; I was shocked, really.
I was bought up by an open-minded mum, so yeah... I also remember I always made gay sims. Both girls and guys... and I remember the happy feeling I got from making those gay sims 'do it.' I have Hot Date, too. xd So I used the bed... often for them... eheh. ^^;
I also remember watching the first Harry Potter movie, too. And during the Forbidden Forest scene, I was thinking about how cute Harry and Draco would be together.... I think that was what intially threw me into Boy Love in general.

I was never against it but I did hide my "liking" of Yaoi cause, well, people are too closed minded in this place and I was way too shy, but After a while I was like "You know what I dont care what anyone saids I LIKE SEEING GUYS BANG EACH OTHER" and well yea : D

100% yes. I thought it was the yuckiest thing on the face of this earth. I don't even know how I got into Yaoi... But now... Geez.

Honestly, I never hated yaoi. I didn't even know what it was until I was about twelve, and I instantly got into it (FMA was, and still is, the fandom of choice for me).

I never seen it as a kid until I saw the idea of two guys being together... of course when I started to watch Yaoi, Kire Papa, I had the worse nosebleed ever. At that point I started to love Yaoi.
