Kitsu would let her take the bagel out of his mouth. He watched intensely as she cut it up for him. Now he could eat it. He was so happy his tail started to wag. Before she could step away though, he licked her hand, as it was the only way that he could see to thank her at the time. He looked up at her, happy to be being helped instead of ridiculed.

He waited for her to finish cutting the bagel up for him, before he grabbed one of the now smaller pieces and put it in his mouth, his tail going back and forth happily.

Hurik was pleased to see that he appreciated her assistance. As she backed away, she'd feel a lick on the back of her hand and smile happily. "Well, I'm glad to be of help," She replied before looking around the queit cafe. Then her lavender eyes settled back on the fluffy kitsune. "If there's anything else, just call," She said kindly with a slight bow. With that said, she would turn and leave so she could wash up before she'd return to her post behind the counter. Soft humming could be heard behind the counter. Though the music played as background/mood music was more modern, it was soothing and kind of jazzy.

Kitsu finished that piece of the bagel. His tail was still going back and forth. He then put his paws on the table. He didn't know if that was proper etiquette to do, but he was technically an animal right now. He had never tried to drink in this form before. He normally waited until he turned back, but the peanut butter was stuck to the roof of his mouth. He got his tongue out of his mouth, and placed it into the tea. He then recoiled. It was still hot. That made his ears flatten against his head. He then went back to the bagel pieces. Happily nomming one of them.

Hurik smiled sweetly as she would look over from time to time. The cafe was slow, so she had the time to clean and organize behind the counter. She could not resist the thought that this shifter was adorable. Blushing softly, she would think to herself that she'd want to pet him. "Would it be inappropriate to pet him? He's a customer but he's a fox," She contemplated in her mind when she'd peek up at the giddy vulpine. Though, thinking about it, he was cute as a human too...And what she the hell was she thinking? Shaking her head, she sighed softly. Straightening her posture, she decided to walk over when she saw he was done. A sweet smile graced her pink lips when she was in front of him. "I'll take these for you. Um, would there be anything else for you," She inquired politely.

Hurik got off the bus and dashed through the rain, a coat pulled over her head as she did. It was not very savvy but she felt better when she was under an awning of sorts. Giggling softly, she really did not get too wet, luckily. Wringing out her braid gently, the young woman would look out at the rain with a gentle smile until her braid was not dripping anymore. Taking caution, she would open and enter the cafe before walking towards the back. She had wanted to freshen up in the bathroom before she'd get started for her day at work. As Miss Ogden got to work to ready for customers by mopping up the water mess, she hummed softly to the tunes of Pain by Three Days Grace on her mp3 player.

Kitsu walked into the store. The bottom of his pants were wet, but that was to be expected when it was raining so hard. he went up to the counter, hoping that the woman would be here again. He was hoping to be in and out today though. She had been really nice, but he wasn't sure if that was because of who she was, or because of her job. Maybe one day they could meet outside of her work.

He waited at the counter. He was going to get his bagel with peanut butter. His tail was already going back and forth in anticipation.

The morning had seemed slow, but with the rain, she couldn't blame people for wanting to rush to work and be warm. So, Hurik had cleaned up and now stood behind the counter at the cafe when she heard the door open and smiled kindly. "Oh, it's Mr. Fox again. How wonderful." Her expression seemed to brighten at seeing the familiar face, but it always did when seeing people she had come to like. As he entered from the cold rain, she ave a small wave. "Good morning. What would you like to order today," She asked politely for his order and awaited his response. As she did, her lavender eyes discreetly took in his attire and body language. The young man was adorable, but she didn't mention the events of the day before; so as to not risk embarrassing the customer.

Kitsu smiled. He was right, she was here. His tail was making noise through the plastic that covered him. It seemed like he really wanted peanut butter. He smiled when she asked what he wanted.

"I'll have a Plain bagel, toasted, with peanut butter, a cup of Oolong tea, and a dozen cookies." That may sound like a lot of cookies, but he was thinking about sharing with Anna...maybe. He was sorry for being late yesterday, but the food was so good. "Oh, and I need that to go today." He hoped he had done that right. He pulled out his wallet so that he was ready to pay.

Curious, the barista couldn't help but tilt her head just a bit to quickly glance behind the gentleman and glanced back to meet his gaze with a warm smile. "Aww, too bad. Maybe next time." she thought, a little sad he wouldn't be staying this time, but she understood busy days and nodded as he requested his desired refreshments. "Alright, coming right up," She replied before filling then heating up the kettle with water. While it was brought to a proper boil, she would take and slice a bagel and toast it. Taking that time she would glace over at him from under her lashes, curious. "What kind of cookies would you like," She inquired politely as she prepped a bakery to-go box for the dozen cookies, since she had a minute before the bagel was done.

Kitsu saw that she was preparing his breakfast. When he saw that his bagel was going into the toaster, his tail decided to wag even faster. The damned thing wouldn't stop while he was in the Cafe. He sighed softly, annoyed at his tail.

His ear perked up when she asked him what kind of cookies he wanted. He thought he had said everything, but he didn't. "Peanut butter please." His tail was going into overdrive at the thought of peanut butter cookies.

Miss Ogden would glance at him from time to time as she would hear the rustling of plastic. She deduced it was a wagging tail, which she thought was adorable. As she waited for his reply, she nodded in hearing it. "Good choice." hearing the toaster ding, she would go over and carefully prep the bagel to spread the peanut butter on. She'd then stick the two halves together and carefully slide it into a paper to-go pouch and set it on the counter in front of the young man before collecting and carefully packaging the peanut butter cookies. She made sure to separate each with wax paper between each cookie. By the time she closed the box, the kettle whistled and it was time to prep the leaves in a strainer and pour the boiling water over said leaves and steep. "Alright," She said cheerfully when all was done and she set the to-go tea with the other purchases before the fox-man. "You're all set. I hope you have a great day," Hurik said sincerely. She looked up at him with a kind smile.

Kitsu paid for his food, and his nice hot tea. It was the perfect thing for a cold day like today. He took the backpack off of his back and placed his food inside of it. He would then hold his hot tea while he walked. He then zipped it back up, and put it back under his poncho.

He then put his hands together. "Itadakimasu! Thank you for the food." He then signed his receipt, and wrote a little note on it. 'Thank you so much for yesterday, I'm so sorry about all the fur, I hope this makes up for it. ~Kitsu On the tip receipt he would leave her a $10 tip. He then left the store, opening up his umbrella as he went outside. He then disappeared onto the rainy streets of Starcreek.

Hurik smiled kindly as he thanked her and waved goodbye to her foxy aquaintance. He certainly left a positive impression on the young woman but then again, how could he not; he was adorable after all. It took her a second to realize the note and reading it she giggled softly, it pleased her that she could make someone feel better. The amount of the tip surprised her though and she would make sure to take care of it properly. "Such a sweet person." She thought to herself before going back to her duties. As the hours passed, customers came and went and the rain didn't seem to wish to cease. Keeping a positive attitude, she would only have maybe one, or maybe four incidents where she would change from child to adult; and it happened once every hour. She didn't know why she was working on her own, but she didn't mind; it meant more interaction with the customers.
