Her eyes widened at the sight of the tongue, her hands waving a bit in front of her. Frantically as if she didn't want to be touched, nonono this would never do. Not in this situation and not in any other, she would know to keep her hands to herself from here on out. Lest she found herself fond of a quick licking, and not the battle kind. "Wait wait wait .." She spoke with a small laugh, stepping back to clear a bit more room. She wasn't against animals licking her, but this was a bit more of a lashing than she could have ever prepared for. Cleanliness being next to Godliness after all. Even for battle like warriors.

She couldn't agree with Ran more, the energies surrounding this particular event didn't seem to point to Sue. What with how destructive the others were in their hasty escapes. The Wizard setting more fire to the town, and the long haired one blowing up a building to hide her retreat. Sue had attacked the people, and while under most circumstances it could be considered worse. She had stayed, and used her presence for something good, owning up to what she had done. Her eyebrows rose briefly, thinking about his final words. She needed that, and often though she had found it in Johnathan. But he had gone on somewhere, probably with new women and the same motley crew. No thoughts of her, she would ever be alone until she found Ran. Finding some manner of peace in being his leash, and to that end growing stronger in restraining him.

And then .. Spooses?. her eyes trailed from Sue to Ran and then back again. Spoose ... Spouse?! Her eyes had grown wide once more, and the length of her neck would warm from the very thought. Her? Marriage? After her first kiss was stolen, she would be unfit without the proper preparations. And Ran? Ran certainly wasn't interested, impossibly so. How could Sue suggest such a thing. Again, her hands went in front of her, sort of waving Sue down from her standpoint. "Do not be silly, Sue. Ran could never find interest in someone like me. But of course, you are welcome to join us."

B'dup B'dup B'dup ... "Hmm?" She would reach down to her Alert Den Den Mushi and answer the call.

"He's a monstrosity, there's b-body parts everywhere!"

Her nervous expression faded to worry, and with that worry she would look to Ran. Body parts ... everywhere ... This wasn't like the call to this Village. This next one was a killer. Already, her eyes were beginning to tear up. And her brows were beginning to furrow. She clutched the snail tightly before she took a few steps forward. "We have to go save them ... We're on the way." She called into the den den mushi. Her shoulders shaking .. why kill them .. why these people. What had they done? Unhalted, she would find herself storming to her ship, awaiting the others before she took off. The helm spinning madly for Syrup Village in the East Blue. Her fingers trembling. Body parts everywhere!

×××× Ran
×××× ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

××××[ Ran was surprised, in all honesty, that Sue spoke those words. Did she truly wish to continue moving along with them? Not that he’s against it. By all means, he’d welcome her with open arms. And to be fair, it’s not like he didn’t see something like this happening sooner or later. From the year he has spent alongside Guinevere, he’s come to realize her gift, or curse, for attractive monsters that need redemption. He chuckles a bit while looking up at Sue, giving her a nod. “You sure? We get involved with a lot of scary stuff, you know.” he teases, soon letting it go. It was strange though. The way Sue eyes he and Guin after the exchange. He tries to pay it no mind, but the moment those words left the giantess’ lips he coils back in defiance. “H-Hey now! It’s not...like that, right?” he says, turning to look at the maiden over yonder, who seems to be just as caught off guard. However, following the woman’s statement, Ran quickly collects himself.

It’s strange, really. When she so vigorously denied the claims, he felt a weird sensation in his chest. He turns his head away a bit to avoid making eye contact with the other two, while thinking to himself. “Well, I wouldn’t say never…” He ponders, thinking back on the time they spent together, and how much effort she put in trying to save him from himself. It seems that Guinevere’s self confidence is still not up to snuff, and she isn’t aware of how influential, and beautiful she is. Her mere presence is enough to bring ease to Ran’s heart, because she has become someone incredibly important to him. With a sigh to settle his inner conflict, he looks back over to their leader as her Den Den Mushi goes off. “Another distress call, and so soon?” he says as she goes to answer. The words that leaves the snail leaves Ran wide eyed. Up until now, they’ve only dealt with more trivial attacks and raids. But a full blown murderer?

His expression goes serious as he watches Guin take over to the ship, clearly shaken up. Could she handle this type of person? Judging by her expression earlier, it may be a bit too soon, but for now they needed to do something for those people. Anything. He turns towards the docks and looks over to Sue. “Come on. Let’s catch up before she does something reckless.” he’d advise before rushing off after the woman. Just when things were winding down, another problem surfaces. One thing after the next. ]

--------Sue simply stared at their interaction. The two seemed to harbor something between them, and their pheromones didn't lie, but they vehemently denied any connection. Regardless, they were okay with her coming along. The den den mushi picked up, screaming about someone being torn apart. Hmmm, sounded familiar. Probably would have sounded a lot like the distress signal coming from this kingdom, minus the dismemberment. The albino giant's brow furrowed as the snail screamed at Guin's waist. "..Sue..weel help."

                                                      "Then Sue...weel ree..pent?"

                                                Nephele "The bird of Hermes"

It had been some time since Nephele and her new, male friend had met in the abandoned ruins of Ohara island. This did not bode well for her wounds which were beginning to become inflamed with the onset of infection. She had taken a quick peek at the long snake-like cuts on her thighs, four claw marks that went from the inner leg to the outer on both muscles, and she had winced slightly at the sight. So it was decided, that they would see a doctor first before going to get a snack somewhere. The prognosis had not been good. Had Nepehle waited much longer, the wounds would have become septic. And ain't nobody want to see that! Luckily the doctor was able to successfully treat the cuts and with a lollipop and some new bandages; Nephele was out and about parading around like there was nothing the matter. She strode along Sorei as they both looked for a place to stop and eat. Nephele was wearing her normal b***h-face, but was now sporting a comfortable pair of sweaties. A pink hoodie and tight sweat-pants rustled as she bounced along on the balls of her feet, twirling in place with her hands in her pockets as she bopped to a beat. Presumably she must be listening to music, but there wasn't anything nearby, like say, a den den mushi that could be playing it. Unless she had some sort of device in her pocket that was attached to small buds that were inserted into her ears, but that would just be ridiculous. If she was listening to music, she certainly would be listening to a nice beat. A snapped a piece of bubble-gum as she twirled around Sorei, blowing a bubble and popping it. Turns out the lollipop had a chewy center! "So. Sorei? What do you want to eat?" She asked, tilting her head as she stopped in front of him stamping both feet down at once. A bag was slung over one shoulder, clinking as she moved. Clearly the white, clothed sack was carrying her other garments and probably several other personal effects. Slowly one of her brows arched as she waited for an answer. Hopefully he had a good taste in food, or this would go no where. Certainly he wouldn't just recommend something like ramen, right? Those magenta hues drifted away and over towards the sea as she waited, one hand on hip and one foot tapping the ground, as she flicked a tongue over the piercing in her lip. On closer inspection, it was clear that the kuja had a lot of piercings. Her lip, several up her left ear, and maybe even her tongue. Dare I say, she could possibly have more? The silvery stud caught the glint of the afternoon sun as she bounced it with her tongue, glinting. She could taste the salt air and the brine. The sound of tropical birds filled the air as well as the hustle and bustle of people throughout the town. The gentle lapping of waves on the wharf filled the land with the hiss of the ocean. Yeah, this would be a nice place to have a small little summer-home. She mused as she looked at the buildings. Most of them were freshly built, maybe a couple years old, ever since a Yonkou decided to run amok of the poor place. "Pfft." Nephele outwardly scoffed as the thoughts ran through her head having completely forgotten Sorei was there. With a click side-glance she confirmed that the boy was still there. s**t! A single bead of sweat rolled down the side of her face as she absently scratched her now reddening cheek. Despite the obvious embarrassment, she remained as stony faced as ever. "You're a lot smarter than I thought." The words left her lips and Nephele immediately regretted them. Is there anyway she could ******** this up anymore?! She couldn't even compliment someone without coming off as a cold-as-ice b***h. The queen ice-b***h! Her fist clenched as she glared off at the sea, knuckles cracking as the bumps became white from the sheer strength of her grip. Nephele was so angry at herself and felt that if she said anything else, she was certain to just precisely insert foot straight to mouth.

┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓

[ Sorei sat there waiting outside while Nephele was being tended to. He didn’t particularly know why, all things considered, but for some reason he truly felt like he couldn’t just leave her alone. Like her injury was his responsibility or something. Or, maybe, he just didn’t want to have to part ways with her here. After all, she is rather attractive, and despite her cold face, she seems to be a fairly decent person. If he just up and lets this slip from his fingers, could he even call himself a man?! There isn’t even a need for the book if it’s just this much. After she was released, relieved as he was, he managed to give her a congratulations...though even now he ponders on if that was the right thing to say. At some point the two find themselves walking through the kingdom of Torino, freshly rebuilt after the ground zero incident caused by the Yonkou some year or so back. And despite only recently being recovered, Nephele looks to be in very good spirits. Bouncing about and dancing to her own beat.

Though a bit startled given how straight and narrow her expression is, Sorei is a bit happy to see she isn’t some super stoic straight lace that he previously imagined her to be. At the very least, she likes to have a good time. The yakuza had already strapped his back to his back and has been marching alone to her dances with pocketed hands. Though frowning, he has a fairly large smile on his face. Almost confident like, as if he’s daring anyone to try and ruin his buddy’s good time. He comes to a surprise halt when she slides in front of him, asking what he’d like to eat. Crap. Forgot all about that! He lowers his gaze to the ground and then further, and further still until his body shakes from the sheer indecision leaking from his pores. “Well… y’know. Meat, right? If it’s meat, then, anything’s fine… So..." he thinks harder now, recalling something his sister once said, and in a panic, he takes back his previous statement and reels backwards a tad.

“Ch-Cheese Burger Ring! Y-Yeah! It’s been a while, a-and while we’re at it, Steamed Dumplings!” he says aloud, starling quite a few passerby's in his yelling. A blush crosses his face as he glares at some of the people, forcing them to hurriedly move away. Definitely don’t wanna get involved with his type, they all think in various ways. Though his glaring comes to an abrupt end when he hears Nephele’s chuckling. Did she find his embarrassment funny? He turns her way and tilts his head in questioning. Even more so when he notices her acting a bit strangely. Was it something he said? In the end, she winds up complimenting him, or at least, that’s how he takes it. The words make him anxious as he rubs the back of his head. “Haha! Me? Smart?!” Ahh, maybe it’s because of his choice of foods! Is she into that kinda thing too?! Lucky! “Well, y’know! Sis always said I have a good head on my shoulders! But still, it feels good havin’ a pretty lady tell me that! Really gets your spirits up!” he says rather casually, not paying attention to his words due to being lost in glee. After all, it really is his first time receiving a compliment from anyone other than family!

Though, soon it dawns on him what he just let slip from his mouth, and waves of red cover his face. He turns his back and crouches with both hands covering his mouth. Beads of sweat ride down the side of his head as some of the crowd stare with various smirks.

“Whew! It’s gettin’ hot over here!”

“So bold! Kyaaa ~”

“Woohoo! Go for it, man!”

“Wonder when I’ll get compliments like that…”

And so on. Enough so that Sorei has to pop up with a fist pumping into the air just to scare them off. “Uwaaaah! Cut it out! You tryna start somethin’ here?!” he huffs and puffs until the people scurry off, clearly no longer afraid of him, but merely running out of habit. Like a child chasing off their parent after being caught with a young love. But now he has no idea how he can face Nephele, since, well...embarrassment. ]

                                                Nephele "The bird of Hermes"

Sorei was looking down at the ground as he spoke. "Well...y'now. Meat, right? If it's meat, then, anything's fine... so..." surely he didn't mean? Wait! WAIT! Is that why he was staring down?! Before Nephele could get indignant at his audacity, he clarified. A cheeseburger ring and some dumplings? "..hmm. Make that two." She murmured as she tapped her chin, staring up at the crystal blue sky. The girl didn't seem to at all be perturbed by the people staring at them as she chewed her gum, occasionally snapping it. She was still bopping her head absently, staring with the same blank expression. Though those rouge eyes shifted subtly in his direction as his face flushed with embarrassment. There was a slight tinge of crimson on her cheeks as she stared for an uncomfortably long time. Dekára! He's cute. She thought, though the only evidence of her attraction was the maroon spreading over the bridge of her nose.

Then wham! Nephele inwardly recoiled from the impact! Though she was standing as stiff as a board in her pink sweat-pants and sweat-shirt, inside she was reeling. Pretty lady?! A brief expression of surprise and embarrassment passed over her cold mask, as her face quickly flushed with a deep red. It didn't help that the onlookers were practically cheering him on! Aaaaaah ~! Did he really think she was pretty?! Those thin brows furrowed as she stared, almost appearing to be glaring, at his face. Her left foot seemed to have a mind of its own too, rolling around on its ball. Perhaps it was because of how profoundly flattered she was. It was only seconds later when the crowd around them would explode in cheers!

                                                "WOOO ~!"

                                                "Oh my~ she's so forward!"

                                                "Nice man! Get some!"

"I wish someone would kiss ME like that..."

What was the crowd losing their minds about? Well if you hadn't guessed by now, Nephele had grabbed Sorei by the front of his shirt and pulled him forward. The cloth had been bunched tightly into her fist as she yanked him against her. It almost appeared that she had been ready to threaten him before she quickly leaned in for a small peck on his lips. It lasted only a couple of seconds before she released him and turned away. The awkwardness was definitely showing. Every inch of her skin from the shoulders up was red. Hands went to the back of her head in a relaxed position as she started walking again, as if nothing had happened. "So. Sorei. lets go look for a burger place." That soft, velvety voice once more as monotonous as she marched and bounced.

                                                1000/1000

[ Holy SMOKES! Needless to say, out of everything that could have happened from his random blathering, Sorei never in a million years expected for Nephele to reward him with this! As she snatched him up by his shirt, he was a second off from apologizing, only hesitating and fumbling over his words due to their faces being so close together. And then it happened. Their lips touched, and for the duration, the man could feel his soul lifting from his body. Her scent, the soft touch of her lips, her unfair beauty. For a moment, it was all his. As she releases him, he just drops to his knees with widened eyes, unmistakably flushed over with an uncontrollable blush. His body remains motionless while the crowd of onlookers cheers him on, having effectively ‘won the day’. Even the jealous ones can do naught but applaud, but for Sorei, the only thing on his mind is one single thing; Nephele. That was his first kiss, and boy did he enjoy it.

His eyes follow the woman as he starts to head off, completely entranced by the woman at this point. Only through her words is he brought back from the cloudy heavens, and fumbles to stand himself back up. “Ah! Y-Yeah! R-Right behind ya!” he calls out, finally jogging a bit to catch back up with the focus of his undivided attention. For the rest of the time up until they reached a spot to grab a bite, one can see the rare sight of him genuinely smiling in glee. Not mean mugging people or giving them glares as per usual, but happily greeting those whom happen to catch his eye, and even ignoring some lug head that bumps into his shoulder. After they make it into a small shop, and order their meals, Sorei sits at the table nervously fiddling his thumbs. He’d look up to Nephele and back down if he ever notices her eyes trailing to lock with his own. Right as the food comes from the back door, helped up by the waitresses skill, he starts.

“S-So… Nephele. It’s like this, y’know? That was um… well, that was my first time. K-K-Kiss...ing. And well…” The moment the waitress stands by their booth prepared to sit down their mean, as happy as can be, Sorei slams his hands on the table while standing up with his head bowed. “I-I’LL DEFINITELY! DEFINITELY TAKE CARE OF YA, WIT ALL MY POWER, I SWEAR TO YA! S-SO LETS GET ALONG FROM NOW ON, YEAH?!” The poor waitress stands there completely shocked, both from his sudden movement, and his declaration in front of her. The whole place goes silent as everyone turns to face them, wondering what the noise is about. Sorei just stands there, only lifting his head enough so the red head can see the determination on his face to back his words, mixed in with a bit of nervousness of course. Was this too soon? Maybe! But he doesn't know! What he does know, is that he's fallen for this woman! And darn it he has to do something! That's what a man does right?! ]

                                                Nephele "The bird of Hermes"

Nephele looked over her shoulder as she waited for him to follow. A carmine hue peered from the corner of her thin eye, staring at the vacant expression plastered over Sorei's face. Welp. "Guess it was that bad..skatá.." A curse crossed her mind as she winced inwardly. Maybe her breath had been bad. Or the smell of fir and peppermint was too strong. "...Maybe I'm not a very good kisser.." She thinks, unable to read the moment. He was clearly in pleasure, on his knees as if praying and his face flushed tomato red. But she could only think that..maybe he was angry.

At least she didn't gamó it up too bad, he was still willing to follow her to a find a place to eat. Albeit a stuttering hesitation in his voice. Sorei was quick to catch up to Nephele, who walked at a slow enough pace for him to jog up beside her. The rest of the pleasant walk was spent with Sorei seeming to be in a much better mood than before. "Well, that's good. Glad it wasn't that bad." She thought as he bumped into a man and instead of causing a fight ignored the offense. Nephele wasn't so forgiving however, opting to swiftly turn on her heel and knock the lug-head out. It was a few more blocks, Nephele stopping to admire some of the more humble stores or just he area's beauty, before they make it to a small shop and order their meals.

Nephele sits across from Sorei, her near unblinking eyes boring holes straight through him as he twiddles with his thumbs. He kept looking away from her and refusing to make eye-contact. "S-should I smile?" She wonders as he once more looks away from her. Just before she could attempt an awkward grin, food would clatter down in front of them skillfully. "Thanks." Nephele said dryly to the waitress as she walked away, the poor girl looking back over her shoulder not sure if the gratitude was genuine or not.

Then Sorei hit her with a bomb-shell. Like, grade-a 50 megaton bomb. Kaboom! That was his first kiss?! "O Theé mou!!!" Nephele's brain was running on all processors as he confessed this to her, hell smoke would have been coming out of her ears if she was a cyborg! Her whole head was the color of a chili pepper as she opens her mouth, "Oh. I'm so sorr-", but she doesn't even get to finish her sentence as he stands and causes the whole table to clatter! Sorei bows in front of her and two pale hands quickly shoot out and wave around in an attempt to get him to stop. This was all too embarrassing! "..Please take care of me.." A monotonous mumble escapes from her lips as she looks away, the red blush only darkening in hue as she scratches her cheek habitually. She was avoiding both his gaze, the stare from the waitress, and the looks from the whole restaurant as she tried her best to ignore the overwhelming silence. What could she say? She didn't want to hurt his feelings....and that kind of determination was pretty attractive.

What kind of bull hockey was that? She had been the only one wanting to fight but now Sue was getting facial reconstruction. Wincing at some of the blows that she was seeing; her hand was softly rubbing her jaw maybe it was for the best that she didn't charge in. Maybe she would have fared better in battle than the behemoth of a fishman but only someone in a alternate universe would know.

The barrier of flames would wither away allowing the the stationary musician to act but strangely she stayed in place. It was amusing to see how the fight would conclude but she also believed that battles should be only done as a one versus one combat. Honor and all that jazz. Cheek resting in the palm of her hand, Silvia would wait patiently for the battle to conclude but something horrendous happened. They just straight up forgot or ignored her. Both of which were capital offenses punishable by death. "HEY!" Silvia would snap but it was all too late. Words thrown in the wind floating away until it became nothingness. Looking down at the ground, head hanging low, and shoulders slumped the musician looked disheartened by what happened.

But it was all just an elaborate ruse to any onlookers. After all, all stories have their up and downs. If they were going to decide that she wasn't important enough to be captured then she would have make a much more spectacular explosion. The mansion of an aristocrat wasn't enough the entire town would have to face the music. Now what did the green haired gecko have in store for the town? Well it was entirely dependent on what the stores in town were selling. Buying a ton of explosives were very suspicious and a non-mining town wouldn't exactly have those lying around. The town did however have firework explosives which were a lot tamer than the ones she wanted. But what they lacked in boom they made up for pizzazz.

Entering a store the woman was met with a scowl by the owner who shot daggers from his eyes at her. An experience she was familiar with, ugly people were jealous of the beautiful. Expect it had more to do with the horns on her head than her superficial looks. But out of everything to notice the horns were probably the least weird of her getup. "Hello there do you happen to sell fireworks? That go woosh boom" Showing the man what she meant with her hand. When the guy responded with a disgruntled snarl it would be replied with a giggle. "I was hoping you would say that" Face met fist and it was lights out for the store clerk. Taking him out of the store she planned to reveal the man as the horrible racist he was and just plain expose him to the world. Hanging him by a loose shirt on the top of the building with nothing else covering him, people would soon wake up the confused man with laughter at his situation. SIlvia meanwhile had gotten what she wanted from the store and was setting up her plan.

Once again explosions were being set off in the kingdom of Torino, multicolored flashes above buildings all pointing towards the center of the town. There stood a single woman on top of a building with a strange looking guitar, a crowd slash mob started to form around the building. A single fang flashed the audience, a cheeky grin revealed the fang. With horns on her head it didn't take long before the angry crowd would turn the situation into a racial one.

"Stinking fishman get out here!", "We don't want your kind here!", "Go back to your country!" and many more comments like this. Silvia couldn't create a better mosh pit than this. So much anger filled the air and it would be translated into music. Playing the guitar the best that she could which was not good at all the out of tuned playing and random notes were a pain to listen to. By no means was the song she played a top one hundred but it did what she wanted to. It amped-up the anger and fury of the crowd they started to do express on each other. "ROCK OUT!" As if the crowd had been waiting for a cue, fists started to fly and more people joined in on the violence.

The party was only just getting started. Pushing the doll's button that were on the guitar and playing one more note more fireworks were being set off around the town. Some finding themselves in people's homes instead of the sky; the multicolored lights soon became a single burning hot red that would engulf the town. People were running around attempting to stop the fires but others were busy using the momentary distraction to loot and destroy. Meanwhile Silvia kept standing on top of the building playing her guitar, the sound echoing throughout the town until one of the strings broke.

Well not all concerts would go according to plan but that's why there were backup plans. Not an spare string but joining on the chaos that she had created. She was going to need to pay for a repair once again and she was going to make the town fund the repair. Asking would be the polite thing to do but it wasn't the fastest way to handle the situation. Instead choosing to go around knocking out any pillagers and taking the loot that they planned to steal. One might call it poetic justice, if she planned to give it back which she did not. It was very clear that she did not stand for any sort of justice when she started to break into homes to find any valuables that could be taken.

White hands splayed over pale skin, the cool feeling of the body under prying fingers was a stimulant to thought as the fingers moved along the ridges of ribs, "My my..." a soft feminine voice mused almost jovially, "What an unfortunate fate you met..." it soothed as long claw like nails traced a line down the gaunt jaw line of a being with eyes sewn shut, "Wonder oh I wonder...who could have done something like this~?" it crooned almost like a sickening song before the fingers trailed away and down over the neck and collarbone, "Poor thing...suffered for days." she cooed as sunset hues glanced over the almost skeletal body of an older very much alive man, "Sayuri-san...please, what happened?" the old voice croaked with a hoarse undertone. A fine white slash lifted over an angled almond shaped eye, "Clearly he was poisoned." she murmured while caressing what looked like a bite wound from that of a venomous animal, but the doctor knew better, "Poisoned? Was he not bit?" the elder snipped at her while giving her that skeptical eye everyone tended too.

"It was a slow poison, a venom would not take this long to enact from any animal." she stated her soft poise and sweetness vanishing as she looked to the elder, "Srvati leaves can cause lack of appetite, stomach erosion and intestinal distress." she murmured stepping away from the body, the white tresses of her kimono trailing behind her, "You know that." she stated coolly as long digits wrapped deftly around the sheath of a long sword, "The puncture wounds....two pronged fork....it's not hard to fake. Srvati leaves look like lettuce after all." she crooned, "How did you disguise the taste though? I hear that it is not exactly pleasant tasting." she murmured as she let the hilt of her katana rest against her shoulder. The wrinkled brow pulled down as sunken eyes became sharp and deadly, "Olive oil." he grunted as bones creaked and the male became fit, almost as if he was several years younger, "Olive oil? I suppose....though I'd add some red wine and vinegar myself....it makes a deliciou-" she tilted her head as a knife jetted towards her eye, "Very delicious." she continued smoothly as she'd step away towards the door, "Good bye." she murmured as she would flick her long white fingers in a bid of farewell, "No you don't witch!" the male growled as he would stalk towards her quickly. Peach pulled into a smirk as small white pearls appeared on her lips digging gently into the flesh, "Messing with me are you?" she crooned as she would slip out the door almost like a ghost. The male was quick to slam open the door to the alleyway and follow the white tresses from the woman out, he shove through the crowd after her at a brisk pace while she almost melted through it.

Sunset leered back towards the male as a small giggle escaped her, until something dark and foreboding caught her eye. A smirk danced on her lips as she would purposely rush into a strong chest, hand's braced against metal, "My oh my, pardon me dark sir, there is someone chasing me." she murmured, but she took her time to move and before the male most likely notice a knife came jabbing out from around a pedestrian aimed straight for where Sayuri's head was, though she'd swiftly dodge to the side and sink her teeth into the man's arm delivering a poison from her lips that would seep into the bloodstream. The knife however would remain stuck in metal as the man caterwauled at her and the male attempting to tug the weapon away. She moved past him and swat his rump with no shame, "Thanks for taking that for me dark mysterious and brooding~" she trilled with a light smirk and sweep past him. The man that had been chasing her moved to shove the male aside and pursue, fully intent on his prey, but anyone who had been watching would notice the corrosive black that had already traveled from the bite wound and up the man's neck, dark against aged tan skin.

[ He walks through the streets, draped in the garb of his long since over days of kingship. A dark gloom spread about his person as he moves forth is an almost drunken manner. Completely thrown off and confused about this new land. He had no idea where he is, or why he’s here. His body seems sluggish, and he can’t seem to focus all too well. It’s as if this isn’t him. As if he’s not in his own body, attempting to learn to use another entirely. As he creeps about, stumbling with the alley walls as his brace, he finds himself stepping into a clearing filled with people. A city street lined with various stalls and storefronts, and a plethora of people flushed with the beauty of a simple wholesome life. The entire scene is enough to widen his frustrated eyes as he recalls his own kingdom’s people. The very people he was forced to cut down in their worst moments, never to smile again. This thought sends rage flowing through his mind yet again as he turns away to walk down the street.

His destination unknown, he just feels like he has to come somewhere. Anywhere. With a ragged voice, he ignores the concerned glares and gestures of help from the people around him, losing complete sight of his surroundings. All he sees is forward. That is, until a fair skinned maiden of white hair and exotic features colliding into him. His whole body comes to a halt as his eyes alone shift down to cruelly stare at her person. Her words slip into his ears gently, which causes his hands to twitch instinctively. Back in his time, he heard those words so often. Help me. Or, Someone’s after me. Only when the knife comes flying towards the woman does his eyes look back forth, but his body refuses to move. The blow would hit a mark, maybe not the one it wanted, but a hit non-the-less. The man’s eyebrows furrow, growing irritated. An enemy. The strange assailant tries to pull the knife out of the armor plating, but to no avail. The moment he tries to go around the ex-king, a powerful hand would grip his face, lifting him off of his feet. With one fluid motion, the back of the shopkeeper’s head would collide into the cobblestone below, leaving lifted bricks and broken stone around. The other hand pulls the knife free, as the man tilts forth, staring at the captured prey with a ferocity no sane hearted human could make. “...You. You were with the enemy!” he speaks in a husky low tone, leaving a small parting between his fingers, just enough for the injured man to see his own knife being lifted up in preparation for an execution. “Begone.” he calls, as his arm would descend to stab the man in the chest. ]

Gasps would make her sigh and peek back over her shoulder as she would spot the male she had ran into earlier held the other in one large hand. Sunset eyes narrowed as she would watch the man already be half dead hanging in the larger brooding male's hand, "Me oh my..." she murmured softly as the man would be slammed into the cobblestone below and the other almost mounted him. A fine slant of an eyebrow raised as she would push forward through the masses not wanting this spectacle to turn dire, "Move please or I will stab you..." she stated in a silky sweet voice. People parted as the man was yelling about the enemy and was dredging the knife he had pulled from his chest up, he failed to realize the man was already dead, his wide eyes lifeless as the corroded veins reached the man's heart and crippled it. Katana rested against her side she would come forward and easily place itself against the man's wrist stopping his movement entirely with superior strength as she would hold his wrist in place, "So valiant my love." she stated kindly as she put on an act before the others, "Protecting me from this man....he was running after me because he thought I had poisoned him~" she trilled as she would shove his arm up with the katana and press him backwards, "Chivalrous as always." she cooed before forcing the brooding character to move, "No need to make a scene now...he is dead..." she murmured gently indicating all the black veins in the other man's tanned skin. She'd almost purr at him as she'd ease down the katana and wrap on arm around his and begin to pull him away as she lowered the katana, "Come come, I must thank you for helping me young man." she whispered releasing him when he decided that he would follow her, otherwise this would turn into a fight fairly quickly.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

England closes his eyes, as he often does, losing himself in music in the kingdom. Imagining himself sitting inside the saint Nicholas Church in this kingdom. When this passionate music was first played. Wondering how the composer must have felt hearing his work come to life. Observing it's beauty wash over the congregants. England was born in this extremely misunderstood time. When England opens his eyes, he see's a woman sitting on a bench, nursing a child. A flutter passing through him. England removes his train of thought for a second. And watches this woman, looking down as her infant feeds from her. A soft smile on the mothers face. That, England knows, is what they mean when they say "love".

England remembers love. England remembers his own mother, the feeling of her more than a visual image. Though the latter is buoyed by the two photographs England managed to escape with. England remembers his brother more clearly, though unfortunately it's hard to remember anything. But the scowl on his face, the look of pure hatred in his eyes. The last time they saw each other. England's brother has a wife and two daughters. England's brother is happy, he thinks. England's brother has love, he hopes. England pops another finger candy in his mouth and hails a cap. "M Street South West, and Capitol Street South West." England says probably sounding like a tourist, but that works just fine. England stifles the nausea brought on by the greasy smell and the jerk movements of the cab. England puts music on in the cab listening. Back in to prevent conversation with the chatty taxi driver. England pays in cash and breaths in fresh air for a few moments before proceeding to a restaurant. A pub, it's called, serving all manner of slaughtered animals on massive plates with an assortment of fried vegetables. England is invited to yet another special occasion. Which, from what he can tell, consists of a plate of fried tortillas and processed cheese. A few token vegetables, and more meat from more slaughtered animals. England doesn't eat animals. England wouldn't kill an animal. Animals never did anything to deserve it. England sits on a stool fronting the window at a ledge intended for single customers. Looking over the street, massive vehicles, lined up at a traffic light, scrolling advertisements on billboards for various beers, and fast foods. And auto loans, clothing stores, and movies. The streets are crowded with people.

The restaurant is not; it is just now eleven in the morning, so the lunch rush, as they call it, has not yet begun. The menu offers almost nothing England could stomach. England orders a soft drink and soup and waits. Overhead, clouds the color of ash have begun to appear through the sky. The newspaper said there is a 30 percent chance of rain. Which means there is a 70 percent chance that she will complete his assignment. A man takes a seat next to him, to his left. Both England and the man smile at one another. Before they both stand up robbing this entire restaurant. Leaving after wards, after breaking every single skull in the restaurant. Then leaving still smiling. England left.

XXXBlurred vision of the present shifts in spades. Brought forth purely by rage alone. Unlike the unsuspecting pursuer, his blood still runs red, pumping furious from adrenaline and hatred. Dark eyes loom over the husky form of the pinned man. Initially he had been fighting for freedom, to break out of the larger man’s vicegrip around his throat. His hands claws and pulled unavailing, never finding the strength to break free. Horribly sinister black veins crawl up his flesh like a disease, corroding and breaking him down from the core of what makes him live. In but a few moments, he foams at the mouth, eyes rolling back in such a ghastly fashion. And in the end, his fruitless last ditch fight for life ends in his defeat. Husky arms drop to the cobblestone, and then there is silence. Save the shrieks and cry of surprise from the typical onlooker. To them, a barbarian had just assaulted and most likely killed a man right in the middle of the street.

Even worse, he bears a knife highpoint, preparing to transfix the weapon into the soulless corpse. Right as the victor’s arm starts to descend, it’s caught mid drop by both the good graces, and timing, of the woman from earlier. Having his assault stopped is enough to bring out a surge of angst from the man’s person. His veined frown covered eyes turn to the woman, staring at her from the depth of his peripheral. Was she too an enemy? Had they gotten so bold, that they’d come at him in the open like this? A foolish mistake. It’s only by the woman’s following words does his eyes widen, but only just slightly. With nothing left but to move with the flow, having been moved back, he looks down on his prey. Lifeless, and covered in a vile tattoo beneath his flesh, visible only by the corpses pale fallen skin. It takes only a moment for Daos to connect the dots. Visages of the woman biting into the poor sap only just moment prior fills his head, and he comes to a complete stand, tossing the knife onto the ground by his feet.

The man's regal cloak of strange wool-like material flutters briefly from a sudden breeze as he looks over to the ‘fair maiden’ he apparently saved. “You…” he starts, never getting a chance to finish. She tugs at his arm, gesturing for him to come along with her. An act he decides to follow for the time being. This woman is clever, of that he’s certain. Fast acting, able to conjure up lies and deceit in but a moment’s notice, and going off of just now...she’s able to publicly talk out as well. Shrewd, but effective. If it’s her, he may be able to make use of her brain and get some information. “Woman, speak. Where is this place, and, where are we going?” he questions her, keeping a decently fair tone. Enough for her to hear, but low enough not to grab the attention of the casual passerby.

Saya would be gleeful at the feeling of relinquishment, the man didn't fight her in her efforts to stop him from making even more of a scene then he already had. Pearly fangs poked gently into her lips as she would let a soft smile grace her porcelain features as she would manage to drag him away with people just murmuring words about the vile man who attacked the maiden. Well, and the slightly crazed man who had protected her a little too eagerly and with a bit too much gusto. The gentle loop of her arm around his as she tugged him through the waning mass of bodies would slacken as they cleared the large crowd that had gathered, her feet padded against the ground lightly as she would lead them further away and back towards a small local pub that looked pretty unseemly.

Sayuri's plan had been simply to drop the man off there, order him a drink and leave him to his devices, ti'll he called for her attention with a less than cordial pronoun, "I?" she questioned with a little snark seeing as he simply didn't have anything to say at the time. When they were less than three feet from the door she would than hear his next words and stop abruptly as she would bring her fingers to the narrow bridge of her nose and gently massage. Gathering her thoughts as she would release the male and turn to him easily wrapping her fingers around his chin and pulling him down towards her height ( or up depending on the difference in height ). Golden eyes stared at him, "Refer to me as 'woman' again and you won't be able to recall your name young man." she said cooly with a slow and steady smile, "I am Sayuri, or Saya if you prefer, not woman, not 'you'." she released his chin with the last pronoun and seemed to become more docile as she would stare at him, taking in his visage.

He bore strange clothing for being in a place that was generally sunny and warm due to the lack of greenery and growth. Definitely a foreigner of some sort, possible memory loss? It seemed he at least knew how to fight, the armor indicated that much at least, so he was a soldier of some sort. Long digits tapped her chin as she thought of how to explain this to the man, "We are in what is known as the 'south blue', named as one of the major directions, so you can guess which way the other 'blues' are. The island we are currently located on is "Torino Kingdom", a place struck by tragedy a long time ago leaving this place quite barren. People managed to make a town here again though...somehow." she explained casually before tilting her head in a gesture of 'follow', "As for where we are going, I decided to feed and get you drunk as thank you for taking the heat." she'd state before stopping, "You do know what I mean by that right? You aren't some crazy drug addicted drifter are you? Though that would explain your lack of knowledge..." she'd tap her chin again before she'd open the red painted door and wait for him to enter into the bar area.
