After being shoved away again, it started to don on her that maybe hugs -didn't- work on this snake pae and that he was forever grumpy. Something really really bad extremely must have happened to him to render hugs ineffective.
"Oh nosey no, I...uh...eep!" she shouted, doing the first thing that came to her mind.
Run in a circle, raise her staff in the air and slam it down hard into the ground.
The ground beneath began to raise up, mound of dirt spilling out from beneath as a hole that resembled the entrance to a rabbit burrow began to quickly form itself in front of her. "Rabbit holsey, helpy help!" she cooed to it rather ecstatically, and not the good kind. She had originally made it for her to slip into, but the snake was fast, very fast. Faster than her, and the only other thing she could think to do was take to the air as quickly as possible.
Her wings fluttered harder than they had ever fluttered before, flinging her into the air, leaving him charging right for the hole.
If he fell in, it would shoot him out in a random direction. Could be at the other end of the temple. Could be outside. Could even be right next to where he was, it wasn't certain. They worked random that way.
If he didn't....well.....
Strawberri Stardust Up to you if he falls in or not - they don't hurt, just are random where he pops out at if he does XD

Who is engaged? Amatus, Aglaia, Fidi (with Artemis being spotted firing on Eris in particular)
Hocrap! Thankful as well that their training with Grandpa Kane had given them awesome reflexes, Erasmus hopped well out of the way of the falling snake without losing his stride. The falling monochromatic feathers gave him pause, however, thinking those looked familiar for some reason. The tumbling pair quickly left behind as they ran, he questioned his brother, "...wait, was that Auntie Nyra? What's she doing here?"
At that point though, his brother seemed to have found something more interesting to capture their attention. A struggle up ahead, and one hottie-hot-hottie who looked like she could use some help. Clearly, two handsome young knights to save her from the awful snake!
She was blonde too. Blondes were nice. He approved.
"Sounds like a plan," he shot back with a whoop of excitement. Out of one danger and into another, likely.
Along their mad dash, he kept his brother in sight out of the corner of his eye. He suddenly noticed a similar light-colored blur racing along on the other side. Whoa! Another hottie! Okay, this one had hooves, but...so what? Still a hell of a looker. A cloud of pink powder exploded in front of them, and Erasmas slowed to watch the faun lady darting around, then drawing and firing all without missing a step.
His eyes flickered with interest, taking in her every motion, every tension in her muscles, the direction, the force....
Blinking a few times, he looked down at a dropped bow on the ground. There were a few arrows scattered about as well, likely misfires from...somewhere in here. Without saying anything, he reached down and picked up the weapon and some ammo. Despite never holding a bow in his life, he drew the arrow and aimed just like the fauness had done a few moments before. He drew an aim on the pink naga emerging from the sweet-smelling cloud near his brother and shouted a brief warning to him before releasing the arrow.
"Amatus!"

The Empress didn't even waste energy responding to the bird's taunts. Clearly, she was mentally deficient anyway, and any response would go well over her head. Instead, she focused on coiling around and crushing the stupid thing so she could get back to more worthy opponents. Her coils flexed and tightened, earning a startled squawk from the bird. Heh.
She didn't need help. She could handle a fight as well or better than her mate, clearly. But, when Takshaka's voice broke through her concentration, informing her that another of these things was on the way, she realized she'd need to switch tactics. Shame there wasn't time to spend on this one prey, because kills were to be savored. No, best take care of the troublesome things first, then she could feed and collect her new trophies.
As Takshaka fell nearby, the naga empress whirled on the pair in a haze of fury. The boy could be a twit sometimes, but he was still HERS. No feathery tart was going to take out one of her boys before he was even full grown. Whatever happened after that was his own fault.
Flexing her coils for another satisfying squawk from the captured harpy, she whirled on the smooth marble flooring and snapped her tail like a whip, simultaneously releasing her hold to throw the black and white harpy at the ornately jeweled one hovering over her son.
Wolfs Heart Yes, she just THREW Nyra at Shakira XD

Ick, giant nasty worm snake was trying to surround her! Bringing talons, claws, and teeth to bear, Nyra tossed aside talking in favor of fighting. It's what she preferred anyway. Words were stupid and a waste of time.
As repulsive as the beast was, Nyra screeched and dug her claws and teeth into one of the coils that got too close to her torso. She reveled in the pained hissing from the monster, though that was short-lived as the worm beast captured her. She couldn't move, only squirm, her talons taken out of the equation as her legs were bound. A furied shriek cut the air as she renewed her attack with her teeth and claws before the thing could get ahold of her arms as well. She was too full of adrenaline to feel the damage she'd sustained thus far and continued fighting like a mad beast.
Until the snake suddenly whipped her around and released her, sending her flying/tumbling through the air. It was so fast, she had no time to reorient herself, and was sent careening towards the ornately accessorized harpy nearby.

Who is engaged? Jahleel, then Lannister
With his arrow locked and loaded, and a target found, Hymnaois let the arrow fly. This was a thick, sturdy arrow, unlike the normal arrows the gods use for fighting. This was also not like the normal bolts he used with his crossbow in order to bind two souls in happy matrimony.
This was a special tactical arrow. A pacifist by nature, fighting wasn't his style, but he would do other things to contribute to the fight. This arrow was equipped with a net covered in snake pheromone. It was designed to release and ensnare upon impact.
Hymnaios found the perfect target: The Naga emperor himself.
The taint slipped into his mind only a split second before his fingers loosed the arrow. It was an action he couldn't stop, even though now he wanted to. His eyes burned, and he felt angry. So angry. But at what? From atop the column he stood, he scanned the battlefield. Something drew him to a particular target. Something about that boy ....
Hymnaios notched another arrow. Identical to the last, and let it fly towards his unsuspecting son who was attacking his new ally.

The diversion worked and the snake was retreating. And squawking. Aglaia flapped again to push the powder into her foe. But then she saw them. It was like slow motion watching a sporting event replay. First one flew in, nearly tripping on the now irrelevant naga. He tumbled in to her. The second arrived, picked up a bow and started flinging arrows like he thought he was Artemis or something.
... No ...
"NO!" They can not be here, not now, not ever. They need to go back to their mortal mom and pretend to be mortal. Why were they here?
She moved quickly, afraid someone else might see them, and then they'd know too. Existing right in front of her were the two proofs Venus would have that Aglaia shot Adonis. Oh no, they had to go. She lunged at the one as he flailed, grabbing his hand before he could topple completely on the wretched sack of scales and awful things. "You can't be here!"
Where did that other one go? She was going to grab each one of these boys by the wrist and escort them home.
But that's when she saw it. She even felt it in the air and could smell the foul stench that threatened to make her sick. Eris. Eris was close. First Eros' eyes, then Kleta, and Himeros. Even Thalia! One by one, the purple glow lit up the battlefield. It felt like they were staring straight through her. She was next, she knew it. It was coming, and she had to fight back. She'd not let that witch into her head ever again.
The Adonis clones no longer existed. The annoying little snakelet no longer existed. The last year of her life no longer existed. She cowered to the ground, grabbing her ears and tucking herself into a ball. "No, never again! You won't get me!" She wrapped her wings around her tiny body, hiding from the outside.
The anticipation for the incoming mental battle was excruciating.
"I won't let her in! I won't let her in!"

Who is engaged?Eros
The rocks and tree slaps were working at least to keep the naga preoccupied while the others could do their thing to tie 'em down for defeat.
An arrow grazed her ear, causing her to spin around. A little blood dripped from the cut. Her focus was cut off so her spirit butterflies returned to her, dropping the rocks and leaving the trees. The arrow had white fletching. That was concerning. She fluttered her wings lightly and lifted off the ground to look over the commotion of the battle. Where had that come from? She brought her hand up to wipe away the tiny drop of blood.
Her heart sank when she saw her husband's brothers and sisters firing on their own teammates. "STOP!" she shouted, darting right into the fray. She zigged and zagged to try and avoid the onslaught, but some arrows were unavoidable. They cut right through her wings, grazed her shoulders and one eventually found her arm, lodging in deep. She cried and fell to the ground. It hurt like hell, but she couldn't let her family do this. She pushed herself to her feet and called out for her husband.
"Eros, stop!" She reached up towards him, sending a swarm of soul butterflies to take control of as many arrows as she could catch, and redirect them to the ground. This madness had to end! Venus wasn't worth losing the rest of her family.
"EROS!"

Who is engaged?All the Erotes, Graces, Artemis, Voluptas, and Adonis
That wicked grin glinted with the fire light from a nearby torch. Confident she glided further from the pillar, maintaining her control of her favorite puppets. Well, her second favorite puppets. Her favorite were currently cowering in the middle of a battleground. It should be a crime to get this much enjoyment from someone elses emotional torture. It was, but it was of no concern to the Goddess of Discord.
The chaos she brought to this land, to Venus Temple, to Venus and her family. This was delicious. She soaked up the decadent chaotic energy, growing more powerful. A twitch of a finger and one of the Erotes would fling arrows towards those pitiful and foolish mortals. Another twitch sent a barrage towards the pesky meddlers she couldn't control. This battle would end soon.
She flit closer to the raging battle, hubris overwhelming so she didn't even see the encroaching onslaught. She couldn't control these ones. She also couldn't control the other ones and dodge arrows coming at her hundreds at a time. (So it wasn't hundreds, but it very well could have been!)
An arrow grazed her her shoulder, jerking her back, instinctively, she pulled a hand up to cover the wound. Incidentally dropping control of all the Graces. She snarled at the dark-haired goddess and Venus' boy toy. A former minion, and a Nothing - a pretty face. Pity, Voluptas was good company when she was a mindless slave. "You'll have to do better than that, honey."
She pulled a bloody hand from her shoulder and held it up, palm towards Voluptas. She slowly rotated her wrist then snapped her hand shut. She held Voluptas in a tight grip. "Drop the weapon or I will squeeze her faster than you can let loose that arrow." Eris snarled and gazed at the pair with a wicked grin.
Suddenly arrows! There were so many arrows all she could do is defend herself. She turned, using her cloak as a cover for the onslaught. Dozens of arrows stuck to her cloak and blood dripped from the entry point of several. She had dropped Voluptas, and lost control of the Erotes. She hadn't planned on Artemis being there.
"I will get my revenge." She growled and the purple smoke swirled up around her feet. I will not be defeated so easily.
The smoke spiraled up around her and she disappeared.
((Erotes and Graces are free! Eris fled to nurse her wounds, abandoning the Naga Clan, so they now are on their own fighting against Venus' Retinue. ))

Who is engaged? lannister and random naga
As much as she appreciated Lannisters attempts to save her, she enjoyed breathing slightly more. Each of his shallow stabs did indeed make the naga wrapped around her constrict tighter, hissing all the way as Adora felt her eyes practically bulge. Air wasn't a big deal until suddenly one didn't have it anymore.
She squeaked softly as her wiggling became more desperate.
Just as the female thought her lungs might burst, the red fae suddenly charged forward. Even though she knew it was to attack the naga, there was something unnerving about some pae charging head on with a spear at your stomach. Her eyes instinctively snapped shut, but the howl of the female naga was all she needed to know that his attack landed true.
She clawed visciously at the evil, vile fae as blood began to gush from her wound. Her body started betraying her, her muscles spasming to make her fall to the ground by the wilwarins feet. She had seen their battle with the super pae, they were supposed to be easy! As her vision clouded, she caught the sight of Hymnaios letting an arrow fly at her killer. At least he got a dose of karma.
