Even at home, Olivia never really had the chance to go see a movie, even much less watch skellyvision as how unlike went for her, so this was all too exciting. Her eyes lit up and her little body wiggled, bubbled really for the activity they would be taking part in. Sure, they could do it at school, but this was going to be a human movie. (That poor human, stuck behind that box. Was that his punishment for something? Did he do something wrong?)
Gladly, she took one of the offered bills and the little ticket that designated the theater they would be going to. The bill was fascinating, with its large picture of someone. How did humans use such a flimsy thing and only one? In her free hand she turned it over a few times as Andrew lead her to the salesperson behind yet another counter, oh there were smaller pictures on the backside as well. Part of her had no intention to use it, to keep it. Perhaps this could be her souvenir.
Catching Andrew's question, Olivia gave him a blank stare for a moment before looking in the brightly lit box in the counter. A lot of the candy and treats looked a little like some back home. Olivia pressed a peachy finger down at the glass, "are those made from real scarlings?" She asked with knit brows, in reference to the Sour Patch Kids. What were human candies made of exactly? How unfortunate!
The awkward teenager behind the counter seemed lost at her inquiry and just relied with a very unsure, "uuuuuuh ....?"
Olivia turned back to Andrew, "What do you think their popcorn tastes like?" Like candy corn? Oh, that ghoul from earlier was back. Olivia gave her another smile. Oh, and that large one too!

What kind of treachery was this? Gabby was watching you, Sibyl and Efflo. He was watching you so hard, so damn hard. He snatched a bill from Selene, and put it down on the counter, while glaring daggers at his boilfriend and best friend.
"Sir.."
Gabby refused to turn to look at the boil trying to take his order.
"Sir, I can't.. this bill is too big, do you have anything smaller?"
Gabby turned, then, his ice cold glare stabbing directly into the boil's heart. "Give me a box of that popcorn, and keep the change."
"But sir..!"
"Do it."
And so it was, as Gabby stormed over to Efflo, he was now laden with tickets and a giant box of popcorn. He also managed to be given a bag of candy, which was sticking out of his pocket. And none of it mattered, because half of the popcorn fell on the floor when he wrapped his arm around Efflo's waist, stuck his tongue out at Sibyl, and growled-
"Mine."
He then carried his popcorn, his candy, and his man, into the theatre.

Efflo sighed when Sibyl paused again, a sound that only got more pronounced when he realized she wasn't tearing off somewhere this time, but waiting for Gabby to catch up. Sibyl, you are too nice! You are wrecking my plan!
He was saved, however, by Gabby's apparent appetite. That must have been why he grabbed the human money so hastily from Professor Selene. Efflo couldn't help but watch the boil curiously, impressed by how easily the dragon braved the scary human. He watched in awe as Gabby was even able to order the strange creature around. His boilfriend was so cool. That sure was an awful lot of popcorn though, was Gabby sure he could eat it all by himself?
The boil paled, something he'd never been able to do in his normal form, when Gabby stalked over to him and Sibyl, looking intent on retrieving something. Efflo never would have guessed that he was the prize, but he was more than happy to be won. It was no fun ignoring Gabby, even if he had spilled all the popcorn.
As they walked into the darkened theatre, Efflo took advantage of the opportunity, wrapping his arms around his neck and leaning up to give Gabby a peck on the cheek. "And you're mine," he whispered. "Don't forget it."

Bright shiny flashy lights. Like all of the other areas around. Though in a slight reference. Some of the people near this one seemed... more steady. And clothed. How did people walk around with so little on? Molan couldn't truly fathom it in the same format he couldn't fathom that Olivia wanted him to catch her hand again.
Nope. Casual contact was generally beyond him. Directly asking or doing was about the only way. Hadn't she ever seen one of those glorious 'awkward sibling hugs?' He and Etzer had those sometimes. I work out so well. You know, as long as no one saw and such was done afterwards. Well the long and short was that Molan tended not to actually go out of his way to touch people much. He just didn't. Handshakes and a pat on the head being the usual end of discussion point. So, as it was. Olivia's harmless little wish was lost. It never dawned on him and he sort of made the mistake of glancing around before they got to the box.
Wow. What were those humans doing in... "That... humans have loose concepts on... appropriate." A small cough and he turned to pay attention to the death trap box and person Selene was talking to. Then she was casually handing out two pieces of paper. One with a one hundred on it and the other with a four. Well the four one was obviously the lobby so... off to shop. Because he was curious what this place sold. Maybe a bell. That would be good. It seemed like Olivia and Andrew had already gone inside, as well as some of the others, so off he went with it, sort of holding the odd currency between his hands as he stared.
Their money was weird.
Alright, that aside. What to get. He looked at the fellow who was checking tickets and first assumed he wanted the money. When his eyed bugged at the strange boil trying to hand him a bill the demon figured out he wanted the ticket instead. A quick small tear and onward he went into a large lobby.
"Kind of tacky..." Was the statement that escaped him. Honestly, their dorms were in FAR better taste. This stuff looked cheap and he doubted there could possibly be a good show to be had at a place like this. Really. Still, he did manage to spot Olivia and that twit over by one of the places people were getting snacks. He'd been told human food tasted bad, but... he was sort of curious. Maybe the pins would disguise it too? It couldn't hurt to try. So off he went to start over, not realizing that apparently stark white hair was normal. At least not at the length he had it. Oh they must have thought he used to much bleach.
"They... have truly poor taste. The paintings on the wall look so overdone and unnatural. That werewolf looks completely illogical in such a situation. And... why is that vampire... sparkling?" Everyone knew those things were wrong. He sighed, chocking it up to humans not knowing any better before looking to the counter and glancing at the options. It looked like the pair had a few things so... well let's see. "Do you have any bells?" He remained looking at the glass curiously tilting his head to one side as he looked at the colorful boxes. Then up to see a look at meant the awkward teen behind the counter thought him an idiot. To which he returned an equally judgmental stare. "Well you should." He shook his head before deciding to point randomly at a few packages.
He liked minty things. "Junior... mints?" It looked like it had white stuff inside by the packaging. And what were those? He pointed to a yellow box. "Milk duds?" Seemed good enough. While Molan was busy looking the student had noticed he also had one of those rather... large bills.
"Both of you?" His tone was disbelief, the bad sort. Which merely got another scornful look from the somewhat prideful frost demon.
"Large or not that means change is in order." Apparently this wimpy paper was worth a lot. "So deal with that, human." At which point he handed over his own bill figuring it must be enough to cover the few choices. "And one of those... pop-corn... things." A lot of people seemed to be getting them after all.
Alas, the look Molan had didn't get the results he wanted. Rather it seemed to merely make the attendant more suspicious of all the 'rich kids' showing up. But really. He was a rich kid. Just... not in the human realm.

Well, if Andrew felt so inclined to pay for her as well then how could she voice any objection? It at least allowed her to keep her own funny piece of paper. Pockets.. pockets.. did this dress have convenient pockets. Olivia managed to stuff her large bill - apparently it was large, it honestly didn't look too big to her. It was smaller than a piece of notepaper after all - into a found pocket before Andrew began handing her a few of the purchased items. Oh, those sour things!
But wait, now she couldn't hold Molan's hand! QQ Olivia pouted as the pale boil finally joined them once again - where had he been? and made note of the pictures that graced the walls. Oh, she hadn't even gotten a chance to look up yet, being tugged along and offered sweets and all. Being near the center of the lobby finally gave her a good view. Pictures indeed, "I wanna look at them," she told Andrew. And she was perfectly content with staying where she was and just shuffling in slow circles to do it. Why did that one poster have the word '3' in it when there were clearly more than three items items in the picture. She could count at least eight even from where she was standing. Oh, a bird on fire, she looked away quickly... even humans seemed to like flammable creatures.
While she was at it, since he missed her not so obvious signals to add to the lovely hand holding chain, Olivia gave Molan a stare. A sort of stare of 'you better stay with us or I might cry if you go on ahead and get seats with us.'

Gabby's grumpiness did not falter even when Efflo's lips pressed against his cheek. He settled the boil in a seat, then sat down in his own, and put the popcorn on his other side to save it for Sibyl. Then he folded his arms in front of him, and glared up at the giant screen.
There was a few long, cold seconds of silence, before his stone facade collapsed, and he lunged to the side, picking up the boils face in both hands and pulling it in. He kissed Efflo then, ferociously, and pulled him away just as quickly. Those glaring eyes were bearing down on him intensely.
"I can't forget it. Even if I wanted to." He growled at the boil. "Don't leave me alone like that again." Was it coincidence that Gabby had settled Efflo into the seat on his right side? As he sat back in his seat and snuggled his side against the boil, it was clear the answer was no.

Efflo wavered as Gabby set him in his seat, worrying that he had pushed the boil a little too much when he received the same treatment he'd given the dragon. Efflo didn't blame him, not really. How many times had Gabby reassured him now? Though the ponyboil tried, this was his first real relationship and the first time he'd ever been and ever allowed himself to be so close to another being. He worried every second that he might somehow lose Gabby. Yet it would be no good if he was the one that pushed Gabby away.
He turned to the boil and tentatively reached for him, to apologize but Gabby was meeting him in the middle, grabbing him close and surprising him with a fierce kiss. It was over as quickly as it started, too soon, and all Efflo could do was stare hazily at him, still marvelling at what had just transpired.
Gabby's words floated over him, he was upset with him. It snapped him back to reality and he reached over again, without hesitation this time, and slipped his hand into the boil's. He gave it a soft squeeze, nestling up to his wispy side. "Never again, Gabriel. I'm sorry."
