She looked confused again. "O...kay."  

[NightWerewolf]

He blushed deeply and pulled the box out of his pocket, playing with it a little before handing it to her. "I know you said you didn't want anything, but I figured what the hell."

She uncrossed her arms and took the box. "You didn't need to get me anything." She rolled her eyes a little and sighed. she figured she might as well open the thing. Her mouth dropped a little when she saw the polished sliver knot work and small green stone. "Alex you shouldn't have."

"Maybe... but that expression on your face tells me it was totally worth it." He said with a wide smile. "That's why your grandmother was acting weird. I showed it to her first."

She shoved his shoulder as she looked at it. "now I'm surprised she didn't kiss you on the mouth." She finally took her eyes off it and looked at him. "will you help me put it on?"

"Well I'm glad she didn't." He said, getting his balance back after the shove. "Sure." He stood behind her and took the ends of the necklace, clipping them together behind her neck. "So, what do you think of it anyways?"

She pulled her hair back for him. "I love it." She turned and gave him a quick hug in thanks.

He blushed lightly again and hugged her back. "Happy to hear it. You're not an easy one to find something for. I'm glad you like it." He nodded, letting her go. "So, what do you want to do with the rest of our day?"

She shrugged fiddling with the necklace. "ummm... I don't know. Did you have anything in mind?"  

[NightWerewolf]

"Not really. I was just gonna hang out by the lake or something and draw again." He shrugged, smiling as he noticed her playing with the necklace.

"Thats fine with me." she smiled a little and tried not to play with the necklace. She was still surprised he had done it and grateful he had. She didn't normally get presents from anyone that wasn't family.

"Then maybe there is something else I should show you." He said as he started walking again. "Just let me go get my things. I'll be right out." He said, running into his house to get his drawing supplies.

"Okay." She looked around as she waited for him. It was a pretty large place, not too bad though.

He came back out with a couple bits of charcoal and his papers. When he got to her he hesitated a second before handing her the drawing he had done before of her. "Hope you don't mind I drew you. After meeting you the other day it was all I could think of to draw."

Bernadette took what she was handed and hardly heard him after that. "You drew this from memory?" She was stunned.
