((Lol, I was wonderin where you'd gone. I thought you'd abandoned the RP.))
Daryn was sure there was a bump forming and looked down at Gabe to see if she was ok. She was laughing against the side of his shirt. He placed his other hand on her shoulder.
"I think we have issues."
He laughed a bit. Even as he laughed though, he couldn't help but feel like something bad was going to happen, like someone would do something and crap would hit the fan. He was smiling, but his eyes showed worry.

Gabe laughed and rubbed her head. She had the feeling that something was coming but she refused to thinking about it. She leaned her head on him for a few moments before looking up to him.
"So what are we going to do?" she asked trying to remember

Daryn blinked and then remembered.
"Oh, the trail."
He said and moved to stand up.
"We were going hiking. And you need to get dressed."
He pretended to scold her as he walked out the door. Heading to his own room, Daryn pulled out a clean shirt and threw it on. Looking at the keyboard again, he decided to give Gabe a couple more minutes and started playing one of Mozart's more bouncy pieces.

Gabriella laughed at him when he scolded her. She got up and changed into a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. She didn't know how hot it was supposed to get. Plus she didn't know which trail they were taking. She pulled her hair up into a pony tail and made her way over to his room.

Daryn heard footsteps down the hall and he stopped playing.
"Ready to go Princess?"
He called and opened the door to his room, meeting her there. He smiled lopsidedly at her. Melody walked out of the kitchen and watched them curiously before walking past them and into Daryn's room, hopping onto the keyboard as opposed to the bed. She circled once and then flopped down, causing the sound to come out strangely. Daryn cringed.
"She should stick to her day job."
He said with a slight laugh.

Gabriella chuckled after unplugging her ears. '' I agree. Alot" she snickered at the now napping kitten. She smiled at Daryn. Her eyes were full of joy but there was a hidden paranoia behind them. In her gut she knew Jason was bound to ruin everything. Even though she knew it was inevitable.

Daryn saw the look in her eyes and gave her a confused look.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
He asked and pulled her into a loose hug.
"What's got you so worried?"

She looked up at him and tried to pull a smile on. "It's nothing" she kissed his cheek softly and pulled away, trying to get him to think on other things. She didn't want Jason in her mind but she really had no choice.

He raised an eyebrow but decided to let it slide. Gathering his things, he made for the door, slinging an old backpack over his shoulder.
"Come on Princess! You don't wanna get left behind do ya?"
He called and waited for her.

Gabe smiled sweetly and grabbed her bag. "Yeah i'm comin!" she caught up to him, glacning back at the cabin. They didn't lock it. but she doubted anyone would show up. She glanced at the sky and then to Daryn. She caught up to him without difficulty.

As they walked along the path, Daryn asked her all sorts of questions about her job and the schooling that went with it. He was curious to know about what it had been like for her.
Back in the city, a nurse was checking over Daryn's father when she noticed his hand twitching. She frowned and gave his hand a squeeze and gasped when he squeezed back.
"Oh my gosh! Doctor!"
She called and hurried into the hallway.

Gabe told him everything. They talked so much that she forgot about Jason...
Jason had not only stopped by Gabriella's mothers house. He packed up and headed for the cabin. He didn't know his way, so he would take a while. but he wasn't the happiest man at the moment.
Meanwhile Gabes cell was getting buzzed with texts from work and her mother. They were about Jason going looking around for her and such.
Gabe smiled as they made it around the bend back to the cabin. It was twilight and the sky on the lake was beautiful. She smiled as she saw Melody sleeping in the window sill.

Daryn stretched and laughed as he too caught sight of Melody.
"She probably didn't do anything today except sleep."
He said with a smile. He was enjoying the twilit sky when something disturbed his thoughts. Looking down the rough road, he spotted headlights.
"Hey Gabe, any idea who that could be?"
Daryn called over and now saw that the driver was going way to fast for the bumpy conditions.

Gabe looked over to the driveway and tensed. She could see the car and her whole body went pale. "Oh God.." she went straight into panic mode.
Jason didn't even shut the car off. He parked it and got out slamming the door. "What the hell is this Gabriella!?" If looks could kill Gabe would be 6 feet under in 6 seconds.
"i..Uh.." she could only hope Daryn was smart enough to just walk away. "I'm camping. i'm taking a br-" She was cut off.
Jason grabbed her wrist and pulled her closer to him, praticlly like a ragdoll. "Get your s**t and get in thecar" it was an order and there was an' or else' tone behind it.
