Arkhel's next words spoke of years of experience. "I recommend we fly higher." He began to fly higher into the canopy of the forest, expecting Koi to follow him.

Koi looked down quietly , then looked on the near by tree and claimbed it  

[Alenceon]

"We really need to do something about your wings..." Arkhel muttered as Koi climbed. It was sad to see a winged creature have to climb a tree. He was going to put her on a fitness regiment if he had to.

Koi blinked as he looked at her "So.." she said slowly "Where to?"  

[Alenceon]

"Up! Whatever's making all the racket, it's on the ground, so we should go up!" Arkhel shouted over the increasingly loud sound of foliage being destroyed. "I don't need to carry you, do I?" He asked skeptically. He lowered himself to her level and held out his arms, ready to catch her if she jumped to him.

Koi shook her head with slight of blush "n..no no!" she rushed to say "This tree is kind tall so its fine!" she said and smiled

Arkhel's expression betrayed his worry, but he didn't interfere with her climbing. He flew higher, trying to get a glimpse of the thing that was destroying the forest and making all the noise. It was getting hard to hear his own thoughts over the noise of breaking trees.

Koi stopped climbing and held her head "Make it stop.." she whispered as whatever it was , was attacked by the trees around it. Koi couldnt stand hearing the trees in pain. She letted him attack that thing even thought she knew it will take her energy away

Arkhel heard the thing slowing, but didn't want to waste time figuring out if it was stopped. It was very close now, and he kept seeing indefinite glimpses of it through the trees. It was giant, whatever it was. Regardless of her reluctance, Arkhel swooped down and grabbed Koi before shooting up into the top branches of the trees. They could barely hear each other talk, but they were able to see the abomination that was wrecking the forest. "What is it?" Arkhel shouted to Koi over the sound of the thing.

"i dont know!" Koi yelled and looked at that thing while the tree's attacking him

Oh that's real helpful! Arkhel thought. He landed on a high branch that gave him a clear view of the thing and drew his bow. He loaded it with one of his special arrows, this one looked like it had a shard of ice for a tip, and he drew back his bow, taking aim. The black part of the bow began to glow a light blue as its magic activated.

Koi looked at what Arkhel was doing "wait!" she said and putted a seed on the tip of the arrow
