Cursed Love

She sat down as he started talking. A chill ran down her spine as she remembered what she had seen there earlier. "Um...Sure." she said putting a plate away.

"Okay.. What time do you want me to come and get you?? And are you gonna be picked up from the cafe or somewhere else?" Xavier replied, trying to figure it out. He was thinking that she worked at the cafe, but he wasn't so sure, so he had to confirm his suspicions. The animals were scurrying around, some sleeping in the pet beds, some sleeping in the middle of the floor, while the rest just ran around, wrestling and such. Shaking his head at the scene, Xavier gave a low chuckle, watching the pups.

"I'll be at the cafe." she said as she sat down on the couch. She heard a few of the dogs bark, along with all the other noises. Rina smiled, glad that they sounded like they were in a better place. "You could try putting up ads to sell them or give them away." she said, talking about the animals. For once, she felt like things were the way they should be...well many not all the animals at Xavier's home, but he would get that under control soon enough.

"Okay, well what time will you be getting off?" Xavier replied, smiling at her idea, glad that she'd thought of it. He wouldn't be putting up any ads until all of the animals were healthy and in good condition, he couldn't go and give away sick and malnourished animals.

"Probably around five." that was the time she usually got off work. She looked out the window, it was raining once again, which made her smile. She had always prefered the rain over the sun.

Xavier grinned, somewhat wishing that she'd get off at an earlier time, but glad that she would still let him give her a ride home. "Okay.. I'll be there then." He told her, smiling.

"Okay...See you tomorrow then." she said before putting the phone down after he had said goodbye. Looking over at the clock again, she went back to her bedroom and lay down, tired. Closing her eyes, the reaper wandered around her home, even though she didn't see him. He made his way outside, disappearing before reappearing in Xavier's home.

Xavier worked on cleaning up the messes that had been made, taking special precautions on laying the kitten out of the way. He knew he'd keep her, the kitten truly had hitten a soft spot on him and he was also happy that Rina would be coming over the next day. "Ahhhh... What to name you, little one?" He mused, stroking under the kittens chin gently.

As Rina fell asleep, the reaper kept walking around Xavier's home, trying to find his weakness. He knew that he liked Rina and that just made him want to get rid of him even more. Watching Xavier pet the kitten, he looked at it. He wouldn't kill the kitten, since it already looked like it was dying. Suddenly a crooked smile appeared on his face as he came up with a plan.

Xavier looked up, already sensing another prescense, not knowing where it was coming from. He scanned the room, giving a low growl of annoyance before going back to pet his kitten, giving one more look around the room.

If Rina did say yes to him, he would put Xavier through pain which in the end would make Rina leave him, even if she did like him. After that he would just kill him...or maybe make Rina go through some pain before killing him. He didn't have all the details of the plan just yet, but he had a basic outline.

After he had cleaned the house, getting rid of what needed to be put out, Xavier headed to bed, tired. He stripped down to his boxers and turned off all the lights, climbing into his bed. Sighing, he pulled the covers over him with a smile, already thinking of what him and Rina could be.

The reaper made his way around the house, making the dogs shiver with fear. He loved making other things afraid of him though he wished Rina would just accept him. He knew what she truly was and he was doing his best to hide it from her and others. He blinked, seeing Xavier's thoughts. After a few seconds he shook his head.

Xavier smiled as he finally started to drift off to sleep, finally ready to get some rest. Although it would all end soon, Copper whimpered, giving a loud yowl, racing to Xavier's bedroom, barking and whimpering loudly. The small dog attempted to jump on the bed, trying to get to Xavier for comfort, his whimpers getting louder.

((I take the Reaper person has feelings for Rina? =O))

He laughed as the small dog raced past him. He disappeared again, planning to come back in the morning. Rina turned in her sleep as the reaper appeared in her home again.
