Anna quickly used the tree for some support, bringing her legs up to kick her stomach. She got her and as soon Cassie let for of her, she took out her knives and began throwing a few at her.

Cassie let out a loud hiss, dodging a few but the last one caught her shoulder. She pulled it out and ran at Anna, holding the knife up.

"Oh yes I'm sure she's spectacular." Cain rolled his eyes lightly. "It's one thing to keep them as a pet, it's another to fall in love with a beast. I swear boy, I think you are starting to put the good vampire name to shame." He shook his head lightly and followed after Nixon.
"Either way, I doubt she's that smart. She's only signing her death warrent if you as me. Damn children these days don't even know anything about those who used to do great deeds." Cain continued muttering to himself about how many werewolves he slaughtered before he took his nap.

November looked to Eve and Sandulf and then down to Tex. She looked at the poor boy and knelt down beside him. "She left?" She stood up and looked to Sandulf. "You were supposed to make sure she didn't leave!!"

Sandulf jumped back when he heard November. "Eh well..yes I know but..she insisted! She said she would be back!!" He was obviously afraid of her. She got very scary expressions when she was yelling at him.

"Sandulf you idiot! That stupid leech is still after her and you let her go?!"

Sandulf snapped to attention. "Vampire? What vampire?!"

November rubbed the bridge of her nose. "The one that tried to capture her and kept Tex here in a cage. THAT ONE!" She sighed and picked up Tex into her arms, smiling sweetly at him. "Don't worry little one, Sandulf is going to go find your mom while you stay here with me. And he won't come back without her." She turned her head to Sandulf and narrowed her eyes. "Right Sandulf?"

"Eh, Y-Yes Ma'am!" He nodded to Eve before rushing out of the Den in hopes of finding Lixi.

November looked to Even and sighed. "Eve, this is Tex. He's the pup Lixi brought with her. Sandulf is my right hand man who just left."

Eve nodded her head, smiling at the little pup. "Hello." she looked over at November, showing her she understood her before turning her attention to the pup. She hadn't seen a pup in a long time. "I'm sure she will be fine." she said, hoping that the child would calm down.

Anna looked at him and then at Cassie, wondering why he didn't let Cassie rip her throat out. She let out a small laugh before crossing her arms, watching them.

Cassie growled back at him. "You idiot. You have no idea what you're doing. Vampires kill things like her." her voice was filled with anger.

Not wanting to fight him, since she was slightly a coward though she wouldn't admit it, she disappeared and ran away. Why did he have to like that disgusting human? They were only good for meals and that was it. Cassie kept running not looking back as she thought.

Anna slowly brought her hand to her neck, rubbing it a little bit. She looked over at him, smiling a little.

"I'm fine...Just confused." she noticed that he hadn't looked over at her, so she came up next to him. Anna blinked, realizing how angry he was and took a step back, she didn't want to mess with him right now, which was probably her only smart choice. "I didn't realize you were that angry." she didn't really think he would be mad against his own kind, so just thought he was mad at her since his voice had also been filled with anger.

"Um...okay." Anna was going to save all the questions that were going through her head for later as she sat down next to the trunk of the tree. She closed her eyes, wondering why he was so angry with Cassie, she was a human after all.

Cassie sighed finally stopping. "Stupid humans." she said looking around. She started to walk, looking for a place to stay in the city.

She jumped to her feet. "You read my mind!?" she almost yelled, obviously angry. She hated it when someone invaded her privacy without her wanting it. Anna looked at him, trying to ignore the last thing he said....He actually, just might, care about her. She pushed that thought away, keeping it focused on the fact that he had read her mind. From now on she would be careful about what she was thinking about around him, she didn't want him to know that she was slightly falling for him.
