"Humans are wonderful," she replied, smiling sweetly. That was a good answer in her mind, nondescript. She didn't know if this guy was a veggie yet.

"I don't know, she said she was new here. All I know is I've never seen her and she's a vampire." He shrugged. "I won't let her do anything to you though."
