"Magic.." That was a positive way of looking at it. Winry never thought of it that way before. She guessed some things that humans did seemed sort of... different at times.

This time Erik spoke. The lovey-dovey mood inspired him to speak though he usually wouldn't do such a thing. "In a sense, it sort of is magic. But if you want to use that word, you can't really use it in a physical sense for this kind of thing. Something in your heart just makes you feel warm inside," he explained.

"I'll be fine....don't worry...just a...bad dream that's all..",she said to both of her guests. She looked at the sink full of soap and water. "Here..",she said to Emmy with a smile and held out a hand full of soapy water. She focused her energy on it and made the bubbles solid and float.

Kiki touched where her heart should be with her free hand. It was faint...but you could still hear a heart beat. Maybe it was a heart beat...maybe it was something more morbid all togather. "Warm form the inside?" she looked up at Erik. Kiki looked like a child with this face...and yet...something else.
Kiki put her hand were Eds' heart would be. It beat like a normal humans. "So...thats or differents..." she frowned a little. Was the reason she wasn't human because her heart didn't beat? Was it her heart that beat? She didn't know, and she didn't want to know.
Her stomach growled again, she blushed.

"Someone's hungry!" Maura said playfully, glancing back at Kiki. The resturant was just ahead. "There it is!" she pointed out. Once they got there, the five of them were seated and waited for their server. "Well Kiki, this is a normal resturant like we told you! Now we jus wait a little while!" Maura seated herself with Erik on one side, and Erik on the other. Maura saw Kiki as a little sister now and she had to show her the ropes. Or some kind of metaphor like that.

Edward watched Kiki closely, not knowing what to say, he wasn't himself lately...maybe he was coming down with something...

Kiki picked up the fork like you would pick up something dirty. She looked at it from upside down, did it have a trick to it? Then she went on to the spoon, something, how odd. Then, her eyes traveled to the kinfe, it was sharp. what was that for? Kiki's hand reached for it, grabbing it tightly. "Nyaa!" she yelped, pulling her hand back with a jerk.
Kiki looked at her hand that was covered by another hand. She was afraid to look, because if she looked, it would start to hurt. she slowly got the courage to open up her hand, reaveling a strickeing red line down her pointer finger. It was pretty big too. Kiki looked up at Erik and Maura, like a sister would an older brother and sister, "Owww..." she whimpered, showing them the large cut. It would heal soon, but it still hurt.  

[Emmy K Elric]

Emmy giggled and poked the bubbles "hehe how did you do that?" she said smiling looking through the bubbles

Maura almost jumped out her chair when Kiki cut her finger badly. "Oh Kiki are you ok? That's a knife! It's for cutting things; in this case food, but not yourself!" she told her. Though the way she said it, she knew Kiki didn't mean to. It was just her curiosity. Maura took Kiki's hand gentlyand wiped the blood away with a napkin. The cut wasn't very deep luckily and she instructed Kiki to hold the napkin on the cut.

Erik was in a trance as so many things were happening at once. He was concerned about Kiki, but his gaze was in Winry's direction, though he wasn't looking directly at her. It looked like it though. His mind was cluttered with many things such as getting food in his stomach, not being able to use his hands 100%, and still helping Kiki understand. He glanced over at Maura treating Kiki as if she were a small child at the orphanage that she watched over and his expression made him look bored and it usually made him look like he was in a bad mood or something. So basically, Erik looked like he was about ready to shoot a bolt at Winry for no reason, but that wasn't the case at all.

As Winry sat, one elbow propped on the table to rest her head on, she noticed Erik's gaze on her. He looked almost angry, though she couldn't imagine why. "Everything okay?" she asked him.

Edward felt faint...yeah...he was diffenitely coming down with something....just great...

Upon hearing Winry's sweet voice, he broke out of his trance. He sat up straight, eyes wide open. "Wha-huh? Oh! Y-yeah, I'm fine! I wasn't looking at you that way honestly!" he corrected himself. He looked over to Ed on the other side of Kiki and said, "I think the person you should ask is your old friend! Yo Elric! You ok dude?"
