1demona3 The only good cartoon out of America lately has been Avatar, which (shock, gasp amaze!) actually has a story. Growing up: Darkwing Duck Duck Tales Tale Spin Sonic TMNT (I own one season on DVD right now, my son watches it) Gargoyles Mutant League Little Mermaid Wild Cats Super Mario Brothers Doug Angry Beavers Tiny Toon Adventures Garfield (huge favorite) Looney Toons Captain Planet Scooby-Doo Flinstones Chip & Dale Alvin and the Chipmunks (I've got the Chimpmunk Adventure on DVD) The one with the Cave Man boy living with Mammoths (don't remember the name) He-Man (the old moving comics series, not the newer actually animated one) X-men Spiderman Ghost Writer (not a cartoon, but yeah....) There was another show about 3 kids with powers and a barbarian guy protecting them....names escape me again HAHA OMG What ever happend to the looney toons!!!!do they still come on.HAHA i miss the good old doug...i have lots of memories with that show :~(

So nobody raised on the original series likes the 2002 He-Man series? I loved it! ^^;
There are even still toys being made, including She-Ra as she would have looked had the show not been canceled. The creators definitely had a lot of plans and I await the DVD release that still hasn't happened. sad

Scooby Doo, The Flinstones, The Jetsons, Magilla Gorilla, Huckleberry Hound, Droopy, The Smurfs, The Chipmunks and the Chipettes...I could probably go on for ages. I believe that I have heard of almost all of the Toons previously mentioned. My all time fav is the classic 1960's Scooby Doo cartoons. My kids think I'm a trip!!

I've only seen snippets of it. As I recall, the animation style was quite good, but I have a feeling the voice actors may have changed. Given that I practically worship Rob Paulsen, I didn't look for more smile

You know, I didn't say that it was racist. It's just an observation that many people have made. In some older shows, such as Looney Toons, they actually did have issues of racism. Remember when they would get an explosion to the face? Big lips, black face, bow ties in their hair. Yosemite Sam calling Bugs Bunny a cotton-pickin varmint. That's not all their was, either. Thing is, I remember seeing some of them as a kid.

Or rather, what didn't you say was racist? DW Oh, the first season of Power Rangers. It's just a weird little coincidence that some of the rangers suits matched their skin color. It's also kinda weird that no one raised a fuss about it, considering the creation of ESRB and the tv parental guidelines.
