Lil-Jo Miss Abigal of Lenox Can someone help me, is there a special thing done with the old cans that you get in the towns? I sold some before for $4.00 on the market place, couldn't figure out why anyone would pay that much for them. Please let me know before I sell some more....................Thanks It's just because you need 5000 of them to make the tin can hat... Thanks for the reply, just like the brown bags then. I've sold 3 of the monster bags already, maybe I should just save my old cans.

I can't believe that Amazon had the Japanese DVD edition of The Little Mermaid. biggrin (I also can't believe Kingdom Hearts made The Little Mermaid look interesting from a male perspective. ^^')
What? Does it sound strange for a guy to have a female avatar?

speaking of geezers rambling, does anyone else have to endure a situation similar to this: every saturday, my father-in-law comes to visit... and he tells the same stories over and over again. Sometimes he'll ask, "did I tell u about the blah, blah, blah," and we'll interupt, "yes," and say a little something about it to let him know, we know what he's talking about. And yet, still he proceeds to tell the whole story... every week... same stories. stressed

He says if he is going to spend hours looking at the same character, he might as well enjoy the looking!

Feleoness: Lol ~ my mother does that.
Did I tell you about...? Yes, mom, you did *Thinks to self ~ five minutes ago.* I did? eek stare Mmmm ~ yep rolleyes
What makes this funny is that only 2-3 years ago she was really annoyed at my grandmother for doing exactly this ~ "She just really irritates me with that." "She's going on 90 ma, it happens." Mom's only in her 60's but her mind seems to be slipping more quickly than Gran's did.
Amarella: My brother uses both male & female avatars with his online gaming ~ I think because they get different abilities in some of those games. But he also like to "dress up" the "sexy girls." xp

Darth Showa What? Does it sound strange for a guy to have a female avatar? If you had asked me when I first starting using the internet, I would have said "yes", but after years of using it I've come to accept it as the norm. I've met plenty of people, especially in online games, that play the opposite gender... mostly males playing females.
I do distinctly remember one time that I met a female playing a male character, though. I was kind of surprised and said that it's usually males wanting to play females, and she said she preferred playing male characters because then she doesn't get hit on. Similarly, a couple of years ago I was talking with my brother's former roommate about online games, and he said he -always- plays female characters, although his reason was that it was easier to get into groups as a female {and you also are sometimes given free items}.
I would think it's kind of strange if you chose to be female for reasons like this guy though... Disclaimer: Link is a youtube video, contains some muffled profanity, and might not be safe for work.

I think I've been going through a mid-life crisis... just turned 35; got two teen age daughters; and my new vehicle is a caravan- and since my oldest plays soccer, I guess that officially makes me a soccer mom. gonk
