Shou blinked as he was told what happened then said to Hayato, "Why...what sort of creature would go after....Ryuukaze-san, Naoko-kun, Izzy Lucky, and...." Then he paused for a second a frown skirting his lips before continuing, "...what's the connection between these three?" It might have been he had been about to say something else but quickly changed his line of thinking. And yes, that was actually true because he didn't wish to reveal the information that Narcissus' had shared about his own...experience.
"But...I guess even before I continue...Naoko-kun, I know so many events have worn deeply on your soul but before you walk down a darker road, go get some real help from a professional. Never make decisions in the heat of a moment."
Then he thought about things for a moment before adding, " Besides, your Ryuukaze-san is rather...well...mm...a sweet young man that is prone to doing foolish things for the one he loves. And even if you try to cast him off he's going to stick to you like a slug." he smirked just a little at the humorous thought of slugs in the mating season.
Haru pushed the glasses up on his face to hide the squinting eyes as he thought about Shou's visuals concerning Ryu and Naoko. Sometimes Shou's strange but vivid imagination went places that Haru never would have gone ever. But Shou was probably right after the few times he had to deal with the two love birds.
"However..." Shou walked over and tucked Naoko in a like a child as he crawled into bed. "It does seem like you could use a little attention. He leaned down and gave Naoko a gentle hug. "Everything is going to be just fine. You've got people who love you...and care deeply about you. And having Ryuukaze-san alive, that gives you both a second chance at better things. The world can be a wonderful place if you make it so."
He warmly kissed Naoko's cheek then the tip of his nose. It was a very sweet action but in a manner of speaking...but if Naoko were thinking about his elder brother, the kiss was very similar to their youthful days. Shou pulled way with his 'green' eyes watching Naoko with a concerned smile upon his lips. He really was angelic and almost alien in appearance still wearing what he wore at the concert upon his face. No telling from all the beads, feathers, hair and makeup if Sai could be under there. But even so, Shou didn't seem to betray any recognition of Naoko as a 'brother' or anything more than before.
Then, Shou glanced over at Hayato and tilted his head watching the man for a short while Yes, he had slept very well against Hayato's chest. Sadly, the moment had been too short, "Are you ok? " He really wondered about the connections in between all of this but he'd leave that to Hamu. He knew Hamu was probably frustrated that everyone ran off without their bodyguards including himself. He was sure he'd hear about it later.

These deep scars rooted within me will not disappear...
 Why could he not get his heart to calm down? It just kept pumping and thumping away like a herd of wild animals running, panicked, off a cliff. It was even worse now that Shou was tucking Naoko into the bed, talking to him so sweetly. Hayato didn't have anything distracting him now, and it was hard not to waver. Nigh impossible. For a moment, he didn't even register when Shou spoke to him...he just stood there, trembling, until he realized what Shou had asked. "No. No, I'm not ok." he answered. Well, he was just being honest. After what had happened, after his entire past had just come back to slap him in the face, how could he be ok? "I didn't....I was so....I wanted to protect them. I wanted to protect Naoko...I don't understand why....it's just....just..." He couldn't speak coherently anymore. All he could get through was the fact that he had intended to protect Naoko. Putting his hand to his head, he pressed against his temples, fighting the sudden dizziness that threatened to overtake him. In a moment, he got his bearings again. "Shou...whoever the man who did this is...apparently he has a taste for those in the business, for whatever reason. And he's ******** insane." He spoke in a low voice, arms wrapped around himself as though he were cold. It certainly looked and sounded like the truth. Especially the part about the attacker being insane. His brother had been quite insane. "I was scared. I was so scared I wouldn't be able to save Naoko. Hell, I thought Ryuukaze was dead! It was...it was the most awful thing I've ever been thorough. And the crazy b*****d wanted me, too! I had to fight to get us out of there..." Now this....this was all true. He was just so tired, so weary from it all. Hayato obviously needed to rest, to get cleaned up...but he didn't want to be alone either...and he wanted to be there to look out for Naoko. Hide it, Hide it

"Darker road? Professional?" Naoko laughed for a moment, thinking Shou simply didn't understand.
Or did he?
And yet suddenly the blond was being hugged and... well... it felt nice... different than when Hayato hugged him... but...
He was just about to speak when Shou decided to kiss Naoko's cheek then nose gently.
Amber eyes narrowed, and before he really knew what he was doing... the pianist grabbed Shou and pulled him close, claiming the vocalist's lips in a rather sudden and invasive kiss.
Naoko had to know...
He just had to...
Because if Shou was Sai... if his brother was standing there in front of him and didn't even know it...
Well...
He was going to, more than likely, kill Jun first chance he got.

Shou was needless to say startled when Naoko kissed him. Such a forward kiss that the angel didn't know quite what to think of it. His own lips responded rather warmly as if he recognized the lips he kissed and wanted more. The kiss might...just might...have been similar to Sai's style but then again it was hard to say. However, he pushed away as another headache throbbed on the horizon of his mind.
He shook his head and blinked feeling rather awkward. "Ahh...uh.. Naoko-kun, I...am not sure why...You really should wait till Ryuukaze-san is well. Right?" He rubbed his head a little and then before he knew it Hamu was at his side.
"Naoko-san, I know you're having a rough time of it all but please don't make things more difficult on yourself." said Yamada-san rather coolly. He didn't care for the idea of Shou getting pulled in by the strangeness that surrounded Naoko and Ryuu even if they worked well as a band. "Hmm...Shou. Let's go get you a Aleve for that headache."
"Ah...that might be a good idea, Hamu-kun." he answered as Hamu took his hand to start to lead him to the door.

"Why do you have a sudden headache?" Naoko asked quickly, watching Shou as Yamada lead him toward the door. "I know I shouldn't have done that... but I have my reasons, Shou-san. There is... something I wished to confirm... so tell me... do these headaches happen often?"
Okay so it made some weird twisted sense in Naoko's mind that, if Shou DID have another personality... if he was Sai... then a headache would be a physical manifestation of it.
How he knew this was a mystery... but the blond had actually done a lot of research on dual personalities... thanks to Hayato's own mood swings when they were together.

"Mm....ah, sometimes I do at odd times. I kissed you and I had one...I've been scanned so there aren't any odd brain tumors if that is what you're worrying about." he smiled a little trying to make sure that Naoko didn't have something else to worry about. Something so trivial as a head ache or two shouldn't be added to Naoko's world of stress.
"I'll be alright, Naoko. They come and go. I had one a little while ago when I got that text about you being hurt but I think it might be because I need some water and maybe a few hours in a real bed. We really did work hard at the show the other night." It was a simple matter at least in Shou's mind. Long hours of work could bring on headaches...fatigue and all sorts of other ailments.

Well....that had been the last thing he had seen coming. Probably the last thing any of them had seen coming. Even so...it had been uncalled for. What could Naoko have been thinking? His behavior was completely erratic, and it didn't make any sense. Of course, with what he had been through...who knew where the pianist could be in his mind. Either way, he couldn't deal with it anymore. He needed...he needed some stability, some sort of normalcy, for the first time in his life. He was going to crack if he didn't get it. "Kami-sama....really?" he blurted out. "What are you doing! What would Ryuukaze think?! And of course he has a headache! He's been worked to the bone and all this...this madness isn't doing him any better!" Turning, he caught Shou by the hand, looking at Yamada with a look that made it clear that he wasn't to be contradicted. "I've got this, Yamada-san. I can't take this any more than Shou can. How about you look out for him for a while." He didn't wait for the assistant to answer with a yes or a no. It hadn't been a request. All he did was pause long enough to peek over his shoulder. "Get yourself together, Naoko. We'll be back...eventually. As much as I'm sure you doubt it, I...we...ah, just get some rest..." And with that, he was out the door, Shou in tow. "Come on....I'll get you something for that headache. You don't need to be in the middle of this much crap...not right now. Hell, I can't even take it..." By this point, they were halfway to the hospital exit. He didn't know where he was going...but he was going. Anywhere but where they had been. It was...just too terrible, seeing Naoko act like that. Hayato didn't realize it, but even as he lead the way, he was still visibly shaking all over, his face red from the stress and emotion he tried to stifle. Hide it, Hide it

"Ever think there's another reason for your headaches?" Naoko asked, continuing to watch Shou.
At least until Hayato's outburst...
When the man fled with other vocalist in tow, the blond sighed and looked at Yamada. "I know I'm not quite right at the moment, but that had a purpose." he spoke, laying back in the bed and closing his eyes. "I don't love Shou-san, so you don't have to worry about that. I was... just testing something..."
Though what that something was, it was nearly impossible to say.
Sighing, amber eyes focused again on the assistant. "Was it spectacular? The show, I mean. God, why couldn't we just enjoy the success, ne? Why did all this s**t have to happen at once. First Narcissus-san... then me then Ryu and... it's just so much... like the fates are having fun mocking those who tried to play god and devil..."
Okay so, for the moment, Naoko seemed fine...
Hayato was certainly a catalyst for insanity with the man, in some ways...

When they had gotten him back in the ER, the first thing they had done was hook him up to an IV and start pumping him full of blood and fluids. The second thing they did, was rush him to radiology. Apparently, according to the scans, his skull was rather crushed along one side. Well, that certainly explained the headache. He had become very good at getting broken these days. A surgeon came in and spoke to him very briefly, seeming to be in quite the hurry, and explained that they were going to have to perform surgery immediately. "Can't I see...Naoko...first?" he asked, trying to keep himself awake. "I'm afraid not, sir..." the doctor replied. "Then...put me in a room with him. When it's done..." That was the last thing he remembered before being taken to surgery. The surgery lasted the better part of an hour, in which time they removed the shattered bits of skull and replaced it with a metal plate. When Ryu woke up, he didn't recognize where he was, or who he was with. "I....I asked to be in a room...with Oumori Naoko." The very first thing he asked for...was to be taken to his tenshi. "I'm sorry Minamoto-san...you're in the recovery room. We can't take yo to him until we've observed you for a little bit longer." the nurse replied kindly. Sighing, Ryu tried to relax as he looked up at the ceiling. "Naoko..." he whispered, worried about how his beloved was doing. ~( I’m here )~ Soba ni iru wa~

"Well of course being overworked is a good reason." he answered as his fingers shifted through his extensions. He wasn't quite comfortable with this line of questioning but he had no idea why. Of course he was tired...seriously so. What man wouldn't be after a show like that then his partner in the hospital and his band mates now in injured or in surgery. It all had a reasonable explanation. "Mm....yes, well I'm not sure what you were testing but I am sure that Ryuukaze-san would give me an earful if you did."
But even before Shou could talk any more about the matter Hayato was dragging him off. "Alright, Hayato-kun..." Of course, he didn't have much choice in the matter as Shou was pulled down the hall. Maybe it was for the better though. Shou had been utterly confused by Naoko's interest and reactions to him in the last few minutes.
"Where are we going?" he asked Hayato as they walked down the hallway and seeing the hospital exit fast approaching. "I really should stay and wait to see how Narcissus is doing." he said quickly.
But back in the room, Hamu did answer Naoko even though he didn't like that Hayato and run off with Shou. At least the bodyguards were waiting by Shou's limo. This time there would be protection for the star! "Yes the show was a complete success. I'm sure that the fans are still talking about you're performances." Then he paused and looked at Naoko for a long moment. "Maybe it's just bad luck. Not everyone goes through these sorts of events that are in the music world. You've just been in the wrong place at the right time."

Naoko smirked slightly, "Or maybe I'M bad luck." he replied, sighing again as if exhausted.
Which he was.
"I knew Ryu had a penchant for nearly getting himself killed... he'd had three near death experiences around me since I met him... this is the fourth. My brother hasn't replied to calls or texts or anything, so I'm certainly worried about him. Narcissus-san is in a coma... Ryu's injured... I'm injured... Hell, I'm even trusting Hayato which, I might add, Yamada-san... probably still isn't the wisest of ideas to let Shou-san run off with him." Naoko closed his eyes, feeling a strange tiredness sweep over him. "I'm glad it was a success... and I'm beyond confused as to how we've kept this all a secret from the media so far..."
Now, with Naoko alone, was the perfect time for Yamada to ask any questions he might have had.
And no doubt the man had some.

Pausing just outside the hospital door, he looked to Shou. "I don't know where were going, Shou....I'm just taking us away from here. Someplace warm, without any of this mess. I....I know you want to stay for Narcissus, but I'm sure he's stable, and you'll be made aware if anything changes. Let's just go...get away. Come with me, Shou...let's...let's just go to my place. We can get washed up, we can eat a good meal, we can just sit down and watch a movie for all I care...just let me take you away from here before things get any more crazy for either of us." A gust of freezing air whipped up and Hayato found himself moving without even thinking. Stepping in front of Shou, he put his arms around the man and tucked the angel's head down against his chest to protect him from the cold. "Come on...I don't want you getting a chill...." Then Hayato proceeded to lead Shou to his car out in the parking lot. To hell with a limo. He just wanted to be away from all of it, from everything and everyone...except Shou. Hide it, Hide it

"There are ways to keep this from the media. Many already implemented. However, you're right eventually some things will bleed to the public." he answered. "But you're not bad luck. Sometimes series of events are created by a domino effect. Once you reach the bottom there is nothing more to tip over."
But he paused and considered the words, "Yes, I've bodyguards outside waiting for Shou but if he does happen to run off without them, I've another method to track him down. He'll be alright, sometime he seems soft but really he's quite a tough person. If Hayato-san does hurt him, he will be taken care of. It's that simple." Haru said as he adjusted his glasses.
"Sounds like you're family has some communication issues but doesn't that happen in every household. But I am curious about you kidnapper. Considering what Hayato-san said, it seems like this man had more involvement than beyond trying to get at you. Did he mention why he was trying to hurt you and Ryuukaze-san? If he's also mixed up with the Ohayou's manager's incident...it just seems unusual."
Haru had many questions but he'd start with the freshest ones first.

Shou despite his few misgivings let Hayato lead him away. "Alright...well umm...I'll need my makeup bag...and I don't have clean clothes." He answered being a star that never showed his face to anyone that one thing away keyed to his mind wherever he went. "Ill have to get...."
However, as the gust of wind caused a shiver up his spine, his body was suddenly warmed and protected by Hayato. He leaned his head in and sighed taking in the heat. "Ok...ok... " It felt nice to be there...and he yawned yet again. His head still hurt a little making him a bit less argumentative about the options.
So he followed Hayato to his own car...

In the car, Hayato promptly turned on the heat, as well as the seat heaters. Nothing worse than being cold on top of being tired and stressed. "Thank you for coming with me..." he smiled a little after they had gotten on the road. The darker-haired star only lived about fifteen minutes from the hospital, so it wouldn't be a terribly long ride. The sooner he got there, the better, as far as he was concerned. "It'll be nice spending some time relaxing, especially with someone as pleasant as you." Hayato chatted, keeping his eyes on the road. He was going to do whatever he could to make Shou more comfortable, that was for sure. All in all, he was in a far worse state than Shou...but he really didn't care. He'd deal with it. Just under fifteen minutes later, Hayato pulled into his driveway, turning off the car. "Here we are. I'm sure it isn't as grand as your place...but it's something." he grinned, getting out of the car and leading the way inside. Hide it, Hide it
