in both games, HK and T3 never left my side xD im literally doing my best NOT to load up and update SWTOR this couple of weeks until xmas break when it wont make me fail the semester xD

Be sure to max out on the knife kills and take downs first, you don't get good weapons until really, really late in the game. emotion_donotwant

no guns untill way later in the town. gonk
Worst still is the fact that ammo go waaaaay fast
and are expensive, unless you can craft them.... which you´ll get way later
in the game...... :/

Most rewarding indeed, especially when special techniques are unlocked that allow for truly effective silent kills.

The guns don't suck, the player character himself does. You need to hunt early on to gather all the skins you need to carry more weapons, ammo and whatnot. When you first start out with a weapon plus three clips of ammo, sure things will suck, but once you get a higher ammo capacity, a bigger wallet and some decent optics on your weapons, you have nothing to fear.

Though yeah, the special unlockable weapons are better than the rest for the most part, with better ammo capacity, decent optics and in most cases, silencers as a standard. Right now I'm running around with a silenced .45, silenced Vector, silenced M4 and a vanilla .50 sniper rifle with silencer and night optics. I sometimes exchange the rifle for a tricked out shotgun, because pirates love buckshot in the gut.

As for Dead Island.. The shooting mechanics are broken beyond belief. Guns in particular are useless in most, if not all cases as ammo is hard to get by and they do hardly any damage compared to the melee weapons you can craft. Plus when a zombie doesn't go down after three headshots, drop the piece and grab a machete.

I played as Xian Mei, because bladed weapons you know?
