Last movie I saw was the Star Trek one, and it was awesome. Can't believe the HP movie comes out the day I fly to Scotland for a 4 week vacation. Am seriously tempted to go to a midnight showing, even though my flight is at 9am the next day!

I talked to my granddaughter last night and she went to the midnight showing of Harry Potter's new movie, and she thought that this was the best one so far. The only draw back was the length of the movie, almost 3 hours she was at the theater, I know all the previews were shown but that doesn't take that long, so this must be a really long movie. I have a problem of setting for that long, get so stiff, it's hard to walk................old age is a bugger.

As a reader of the HP books, I would have to say I absolutely detested the last movie. they took way too many liberties with the plot and things that should have been important were not.

I agree. I also thought that it was really weird that they completely took out the last battle of the book. The movie didn't even have a lot of action in it to begin with.

I lost all interest in the movie versions as the makers consistently drop important events and take liberties that don't help the story. The final straw was watching the dementors get the ability to damn near fly. ninja

San Diego Comic Con's going on this weekend. Loads of interesting little bits coming out of there. Most interesting for me is the costume rumors for Season 9 of Smallville...guess the no flights no tights rule is out the window lol
