Kathryn stepped back, allowing the two lovers their time to assess each others appearance. Sirius did look very handsome, she thought, for someone is in their 30's. His hair was in a condition that was ten times better than her own and she wondered if that was a good thing or a bad thing. It was mildly amusing watching the two fawn over each other like teenagers.

She muttered to herself at Sirius compliment. "Thanks... You look nice aswell, you're hair is pretty" She said, fairly certain that what she said was completely stupid.

"Err... You guys look well together" She said, steering the topic away from herself, even if she felt a burst of happiness at the compliments.  

[Sirius Black-Snuffles]

Sirius grinned at Kathryn.

"It's my inbreeding, fortunate or unfortunately," he told her, "Thank you though."

He looked at Remus and shook his head.

"Remus, those robes..." Sirius paused, glancing back at Kathryn.

"Excuse us for a moment milady," he said, moving closer to Remus and placing a quick and soft kiss on the other man's lips.

"Highly handsome just doesn't work as well as beyond beautiful," he muttered slightly pulling away.  

[Ex-Professor Remus Lupin]

Remus smiled.

"Thank you," he said rolling his eyes at the compliment, "but you look a sight better than I do."

He reached up and brushed a few strands of hair from Sirius' eyes.

"I can cut this for you tonight if you'd like. I'm sure it's getting rather irritating to take care of."  

[Sirius Black-Snuffles]

Sirius smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, tonight or maybe tomorrow," he suggested before stepping back. He offered his arm to Remus and then glanced over at Kathryn and offered her his other arm.

"Come on you two, we have a ball to attend."

Kathryn allowed the two to share the brief moment in privacy and stared at the ground until they broke apart. Once it was safe she lifted her eyes and hooked her arm around Sirius'.

"Righto, off we go"  

[Ex-Professor Remus Lupin]

Shaking his head, Remus took Sirius' other arm.

"This should be interesting," he said with a smile. "Oh, Kathryn, have you seen Harry or Gabriel?"

Kathryn shook her head, trying to match her strides with the others.

"I reckon they're probably down there already... Or they might be the boys dorm, I have no idea" She said.

Killa smiled at her cousin as he finished with her make up. She stood up and hugged him.

"I'll let you come down into the Great Hall with me so you can see how few we are and then you can fly home. Dont even think about flying back to my dorm or I will pull your feathers off. Painfully" she said, one hand on her cousins cheek as she spoke, her nails digging gently into the skin with her threat.

"Dont worry. I'll let you decide what I do today, but only because we dont want old Dumbles to know whats really been going on down here" she said and winked at her. "I'll be a good little birdie and fly home to my nest so I wont embarass you in front of the girl."

"Good. Now, can you tighten the corset a tad more? Its kinda loose?" she asked him, smiling innocently.

"Kitten! You can hardly breathe as it is!" he said, an over exagerration, ofcourse, as the corset was just as it should be, not so tight that she had to pull in her stomach, but not so loose it was almost falling off. He knew how tight a corset should be. "I'm not tightening it any more than it already is. End of story."

"Fine, fine... I give. I just like it tight" she muttered, looking down at the floor. Doing a guilt trip would surely do the trick...

"it wont work, Killashandra. I know you too well and I'm not my mother, so cut it out" he just said, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Now shoo! The party is about to begin!"


((And I'm off to draw Killa's dress... *sigh* The problem is, I know how it looks, I just can rarely draw what I want...))

Harry grinned as he allow Gabriel to escort him. Fidgeting in the dress robes, he spent most of his time watching his feet then he did looking at Gabriel. "We'll probably have to keep our mouths shut about...you know," he said finally. "I'd rather Sirius didn't kill you."  

[Decadent Delirium]

"Just keep him away from me after I start drinking and I will keep that a secret," Gabriel promised. "But I have been known for having make-out truth sessions while drinking."

He was really only half-joking about that last part. Some of it was true. Though it really depending it on the drink and the company depending on what he did first.

Harry snickered. "I'll be sure to keep an eye on you then," he said easily. "As nice as kissing you is I'd just rather not spring it onto Sirius that you and I are doing more than going to the ball together."

Gabriel pouted. "Not even a kiss here and there on the dance floor?" he asked innocently. "I'll keep 'em to minimal tongue, I swear." He looked at Harry. "And you will dance, ne? Otherwise, I'll drag you out there and make you dance myself."  

[Sirius Black-Snuffles]

Sirius stiffened slightly at the mention of Harry and Gabriel in the boys dorm. He knew they weren't, but the thought...He put the thought away as they walked through the common room.  

[Ex-Professor Remus Lupin]

Feeling the muscles in Sirius' arms tense, Remus coughed, nudging Sirius' shoulder with his own as they walked down the hallway.

"Don't worry about it," he said softly. "Harry's responsible. Besides, they couldn't get up here if they tried."

Kathryn decided to leave her mind wander before the dance... It was probably the only time when she could actually hear her own thoughts before the music began and the complications of the Second Task began. Not only that, but she felt odd walking with no seperation between her legs, it was then she decided she would never again wear a dress.

"Should've worn trousers" She muttered aloud. Shaking the thought she detatched herself from Sirius and climbed through the Portrait Hole and made her way down the corridor to the stairway, hoping the two were following.
