Gikishou grinned. "Good, because I mean it every time." He kissed his hand again before taking a small portion of the appetizer. He was hungry, after all.

Kyo took a portion of the appetizer as well, though his eyes soon became focused on the outside again.

Their food came out and Gikishou smiled, eating one of the small quesadillas. There was plenty of food, and the quesadillas tasted fantastic.

Kyo waited for his food to cool down before he began munching on his steak, which was surprisingly easy to chew. It was perhaps the first time he did not use a fork and knife on large pieces of meat.

Gikishou finished his food and leaned back with a contented sigh. "That was good."

Kyo also leaned back, though his steak was only half-finished. It was pretty large. "Yeah, I agree."

"Yeah. Let's get a to-go box," Kyo answered. It would be a shame to waste food, anyway.

He nodded and asked for one when the bill came, paying for the food. "Thank you." He left a tip on the table and smiled.

Kyo stood up now, ready to leave. He was feeling suddenly tired, perhaps because it was now getting a little late.

Gikishou got the to go box, now holding the steak, and led him out to the truck. "Let's get you home, sleepyhead." He helped him in and put the box on his lap, then went around to get in on the driver's side.

Once in the truck, Kyo closed his eyes just to rest for a few moments. Of course, he made sure to keep a tight hold on the box on his lap.

Once they were home, he helped Kyo out and took the box. "Go on ahead upstairs, sleepyhead." He kissed his cheek lightly.

Kyo walked upstairs to their room and just flopped onto the bed. Normally be would grab some clothes and take a shower, but he was too tired right now. It could wait until morning.
