I take unwanted items and give them to newbies. There's no need to trash items with me around!

Kitty is from the pound, Puppy we picked up from a family giving them away. I don't know how many ads the lady placed on the mixed breed pups, but she was sweating it... glad she had that kind of patience, or those pups would have ended up in the clink, too. When pup had pups x10 stare , we took them to PetSmart and gave them away. Three hours and they all had homes. It didn't hurt that they looked like purebred black labs... thanks to daddy, but mama's Springer Spaniel/Australian Shepherd.
From the Price Is Right: Please spay/neuter your pets. wink

I just buried my mom 2 weeks ago. I am nearly 68 years old and still had my mom, how awesome was that. Is there any, shall I say, older gaian's who still have their mom. What a blessing she was and I miss her, but praise God, I'll see her again someday.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I would miss my mom so much, she is awesome! I'm 41 and my mom is 65. She still has her mom who will be 88 this year.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's hard to lose a parent. sad Lost my dad when I was 16... that was many years ago and I still miss him.
As to older parents, I am 40 - mom is 65 - and my oldest "child" is her mother - who turns 95 in September. During mom's stint in the nursing home, as secondary Power of Attorney, I basically became her guardian if you will. Mom has recovered, but I still have gran... it's just too much for mom. There for awhile she was another one of my kids... 5 of them... 94, 65, 19, 14, and 9... wait, some days she still is... wink

I live in Michigan and there is no jobs here so my son-in-law got a job in South Carolina and my daughter and the kids will be joining him in 2 weeks, so I'm sad for that, but I'm thankful that they have a job and are able to buy a house. Now I get a phone call from my son and he is going to Alabama for an interview for a job, he's laid off from his job here, so if he gets this job they will be moving to Alabama. This is one of the hard things that a parent goes through, your children moving far away from you. I already have a daughter whose husband was transferred to Georgia and she lives there. The Bible tells us that we are to leave our parents and cleave to out spouses, but it sure is hard on the parents. Maybe the Lord is telling us that we need to move to the southland too.
