[Sirius Black-Snuffles]

Sirius opened the door muttering to himself. Four times. He had wound up brushing his teeth four times. And not like, "quick I only have two-minutes and then I'm going to be late" brush, but all out vicious scrubbing of his entire mouth.

He heard voices coming down the stairs and instantly recognized them as Remus and Kathryn. Slamming the door shut, he raced back to the bathroom for a fifth brush.


((I would like to note that this isn't his inbreeding, but my nervous habit being shoved in here. Any time I'm going some where that's "important" or whatever, I will continuously return to my bathroom to brush my teeth until I finally leave sweatdrop ))

Kathryn tried to imagine Sirius with his hair short and found it rather difficult. Shaking away the random though, she continued walking beside her ex-professor. Her awkward moment of dazed thought was punctured by the loud banging of a door.

"What was that all about?"  

[Ex-Professor Remus Lupin]

Remus smirked.

"Probably Sirius," he said as they neared the door that had just been slammed shut. Leaning against the doorjamb, he knocked. "You staying in there all night?"  

[Sirius Black-Snuffles]

Sirius was once more visciously scrubbing his teeth while trying to keep the tooth paste off his robes. He heard Remus knock and call out to him, he peeked his head out of the bathroom door, the toothbrush hanging out of his mouth.

"I haff oo brush mai teth," he called back, before going back into the bathroom to finish up.

Remus rolled his eyes at this and looked at Kathryn.

"That probably means he's done it several times before," he said cheekily.

Harry grinned, pulling out his own dress robes from the bag and slipped them on. "Looks good," he said.

Kathryn snickered to herself, she didn't even think that half the girls at Hogwarts were as bad as Sirius when it came to preparing for the ball. She took a step back and glanced at her watch, how long had Sirius been preparing. Glancing up at Remus she raised an eyebrow.

"Is this normal behaviour?" She queried, worriedly.  

[Ex-Professor Remus Lupin]

Remus nodded.

"He was worse when we were younger," he explained. "After Azkaban he sort of stopped caring, I suppose he's picked up the habit again. We might be out here for a while."  

[Sirius Black-Snuffles]

Sirius stared at himself in the mirror. Teeth brushed, tooth paste free dress robes, shoes shined, hair down, he frowned, feeling as if something were missing. Glaring at himself in the mirror, his eyes focused on his neck and smirked slightly. Collar, he was missing a collar. Last time he had worn dress robes at Lily-Flower's and Jamie's wedding, Lily had given him hell for wearing the collar, it was just a bit too obvious for her liking. But Remus gave it to him, and Sirius had continued to wear it until they tore it off of his neck before chucking him into a cell. Sighing Sirius toyed with his hair a bit more before going to the door and slowly opening it. He hesitated when he heard Remus talking and got the sudden urge to go brush his teeth again.

Gabriel swirled around a bit. It was strange for him to be dressed in a robe that had no patches on it whatsoever. He liked his patches, because they each told a story. And they were colorful.

"Where's a bloody mir- oh," Gabriel breathed out. A tall, full-body mirror stood in front of him just as he was irritably looking for one. He stared at himself for a second, unsure if that was really him.

The red hair that he had gotten used to was now black and still swept of his head in several different directions - but artistically, not messily. The robes themselves were form-fitting and good. The black was impeccable, as the the dark blue sheen that could be seen on the lining.

He went back into the bag from his shopping adventures and pulled out the shoes he had also manged to find in the shop. He wrestled them on and tied them. He took another look at himself before promptly turning his back, the edges of the robes flurrying out at the sharp movement.

"Waah! I don't look like me!" he protested, sticking his tongue out for no reason. "Dumbledore better be grateful!"

Without further ado he went to the sink that had just appeared by the bathtub and brushed his teeth furiously. When he was done with that, he turned back to Harry. "You almost finished getting ready?"

((And voila! That was the longest descriptive post I've ever given Gabriel... I think.))

Fixing his robes, Harry crossed the room and set about brushing his teeth. Leaning down to get water from the tap, he spit into the sink. "Done," he replied.  

[Ex-Professor Remus Lupin]

Before Sirius could contemplate fleeing again, Remus turned quickly, grabbing him by the wrist and pulling him out into the hallway.

"You look great," he said affectionately, taking a step back and examining Sirius. "Come on, we've got to get going."

He looked at Kathryn, making sure she was going to follow them.

Gabriel grinned. "You look wonderful," he said, eyes twinkling merrily. He held out his arm in a gentlemenly fashion. "May I escort you down to the ball?" He was surprised that he was able to keep a somewhat-straight face throughout that sentence.  

[Sirius Black-Snuffles]

Sirius squawked slightly as Remus grabbed him and dragged him out into the hallway. He nervously fidgetted with his hair as Remus spoke before looking up and actually looking at the other man.

His jaw dropped.

"Moony...Remus...You're...beyond beautiful," he said in awe, before realizing Kathryn was standing right there. Jumping slightly he stared at the girl and grinned.

"And you milady, we'll be beating the boys off with sticks!" he said with a laugh.

Remus rolled his eyes.

"By beyond beautiful, I hope you mean handsome," Remus said, winking at Kathryn. "You look very nice, Kathryn."
