Shou didn't wake...not even once as Hayato brushed his fingers across his lips then slowly adjusted him against his chest. In fact, once settled in, Shou slept even sounder. His fingers clutched at Hayato's clothes and his lips ended up lightly upon Hayato's chest...just brushing as the breath released.
A small murmur slipped out as his head was kissed but the 'Angel' did not wake. His body moved only a little as he snuggled in to Hayato as if he was a perfect pillow.

I can no longer return to those days free of bloodshed These deep scars rooted within me will not disappear...
That sealed it. The soft nuzzling, the perfect peace that came over him as Shou snuggled into his arms...Hayato was as good as owned by this angel of a man. "I knew it...I knew you were the one, my baby. Just...please don't break my heart...even if I deserve it..." he whispered softly, more for himself, than anything. It was his prayer, sent to the dream world of the sleeping angel. It felt so good, that warm body pressed tight to his...very, very good indeed. Certainly, this position didn't leave much to Hayato's imagination, though he tried not to dwell on it, just relaxing as his beloved slept. Though he tried...Hayato couldn't help himself. It wasn't long after that he had drifted off to sleep as well, though his arms still held Shou tight, making sure he didn't fall, keeping him warm in the cool of the limo. Hide it, Hide it Hide me...

Dreams...He had many but he slept like a brick and so comfortably warm that several hours had passed before Shou even started to stir. Of course, usually the limo was moving but this time, no...it wasn't moving. Oh yeah, he was in a parking lot. That was it but everything was nice...and....
Who was he laying on? Wait, he wasn't before...how did he? Shou didn't even remember moving but the reason he was warm was beneath him. Oh and his hands were all tangled in Hayato's hair. It looked like he used the man as a TEDDY BEAR! Oh good grief! Shou blushed a tad thinking that he'd have to somehow make amends for using Hayato-kun as an over sized sleeper.
However, it was rather comfy where he was and yes, Naoko's warnings knocked on his head ever now and then. However, seriously, if Hayato was all that bad, he doubted that the man would have let him sleep so peacefully or have falling asleep holding him so nicely. But still, he did remember the piano. Proof of some sort of temper. Something to be aware of even if the man was rather intriguing.
Oh...and this close he realized that he was rather...cozy with Hayato. Imagination aside...Hayato was built! Maybe he didn't want to get up after all. So laying there quietly, he closed his eyes and let his fingers wander deeper into that mane of hair. So soft and luxurious. No wonder his hands got so tangled and now he had to explore. Fingers curled around the back of Hayato's head but he moved ever so slowly not to wake the other.
Shou smiled mischievously considering playful options but maybe that wasn't a good idea. Hayato had been so kind and well, Shou was almost sure he could sleep there a while longer. No need to break the spell of the moment. And thus, Shou started to drift off again, his body moving just enough to spread back over his teddy bear before finally falling back to sleep.

There was no telling how long he had been asleep... In and out of dreams...but none of the dark fantasies that usually invaded his sleep. Hayato slept without moving, completely peaceful...which wasn't normal for the man at all. Nightmares had been the norm for as long as he could remember, but these dreams were something filled with light and peace. In his dream, he was with Sai. Except Sai was also Shou, and Shou was Sai...they were the same person at the same time, with all the same memories. There they were, together, sitting on a grassy hilltop in the summer sun. Sai was licking a creamsicle and he just looked up at the clouds, so pleased with the simplicity of it all. "Thank you, Sai..." he whispered to his lover in his dream, the adorable angel smiling over at him, a musical laughter filling the air, spilling forth from his beautiful lips. In the real world, though, Hayato began to stir, smiling happily in his resting state. He was still asleep, but barely. Strong arms squeezed tighter around Shou's body, like he didn't ever want to let go. "Mmm..." Hayato moaned, a rather pleasant sound. Then....he began to softly talk in his sleep. "The...the sun...isn't as........lovely as you." he spoke, talking to the Sai in his dreams...as well as the Shou in his arms. "Promise...if you need me...." he mumbled. "Always." and then it wasn't quite intelligible what he said in his dream state. Then, he said something clear as a bell... "I'll love you. Always." And he fell silent. Of course, he was fast asleep. He had no idea what was going on in the real world, or if Shou had heard any of what he had said. Though, about five minutes later, his eyelids began to flutter. No...he hadn't meant to go to sleep...and he had no idea how long he had been out. "Mmm...Shou?" he whispered, eyelids barely cracked as he tested to see if the man on top of him was awake. Either way, he wouldn't move until he was told to. He quite liked being the angel's personal teddy bear. Hide it, Hide it Hide me...

Hours passed... Sitting in the waiting room was tiring, but Kai wasn't about to budge until he knew more. Plus... the man was really worried about Izzy. Granted, a nurse had allowed them to know Narcissus' condition... and while it wasn't good, it at least wasn't as bad as Kai had thought. So he had gotten something to eat in the cafe... and had then basically taken up residence one a sofa, falling asleep. Thus those hours had passed and when amber eyes opened once more, Kai was rather curious. Shou nor Hayato were back... and there had still been no sign of Naoko or Ryu. Michi was still around, as was Chiyou, but their group had dwindled sharply. Thankfully, the media still wasn't really aware... or if they were, they were being kept far away. A strange feeling of annoyance appeared in him, and Nakai pulled out his cellphone, checking for messages. Nothing. Not even a sign from Hiroki! As far as the guitarist knew, neither Hiroki nor Koyasu-san had come to the hospital either... Sighing to himself, Kai dialed Naoko's cell, only to get a message saying that the number was disconnected or no longer in service. Odd... Instead, the blond called Ryu. At least this time... the phone was ringing...

He didn't know how long it had been... had no idea if it was still night or morning or if the day had passed at all. There were no windows in his prison... Amber eyes opened to the sound of ringing... a ring tone to be precise... But his phone was destroyed... wasn't it? Naoko suddenly realized it was coming from Ryu's pocket! Quickly, the blond moved his body, bound hands fumbling behind him as he tried to pull the phone from the pocket. He cursed the fact that cells didn't have extend-able antenna anymore... but after a few attempts, managed to dislodge the phone. It tumbled to the floor behind him and Naoko cursed. How the hell was he going to open a flip phone?!

Like a thief in the night...The dawn was breaking and it was a new day. Today...he hoped...would bring him one step closer to what he wanted. One step closer to his ultimate goal. Jun. Of course, though he was curled up in his bed, cuddling a small doll that was made in his brother's likeness, he couldn't rest anymore when he heard a frantic rustling...and a faint musical noise. So...today would be an early start for him.... Climbing out of the bed, clad only in a pair of soft teddybear-print pajama pants, Hayato made his way up to the attic. So...he had left Ryu's phone on him, and Naoko was trying to get it open. "Now now...remember what I said about your brother?" he said from across the room, walking over and picking up the device, hitting a button to ignore the call. "It's a good thing you didn't answer that..." I am come to steal it all away...

Naoko froze like a deer in the headlights. He didn't try to grab the phone away, didn't move much except to shrink back enough that he was between Hayato and Ryuukaze's corpse. He didn't want the other man doing anything to his departed lover... even with death, Naoko was trying desperately to protect Ryu... "I didn't answer it..." the blond whispered, remembering Hayato's threat about Sai. "I couldn't get it open..."

Like a thief in the night..."You should have never tried..." Hayato frowned, making his displeasure very clear. Opening the phone, he snapped it in half, completely disabling it. "Now...kitten....remember what I said about being good? You don't like to follow directions, it seems. So....you have to be punished again." Smiling, Hayato looked over at the corpse of the violinist. There he was, in the same position he had been left in. His eyes were closed, and he looked almost as though he were just sleeping. Shame for Naoko that wasn't the case. Stepping beside Ryu's body, he reached down and took it by the hair, lifting it up in the air where he proceeded to slam it into the wall as hard as he could, the body jerking, almost making what seemed like a grunting sound as it made impact. "Now, kitten, when you misbehave, it hurts him, see? Though...heheh....it hardly hurts him, really...he's dead! Hahhahaha!" he laughed, knowing how much it tormented the pianist to see his lover's body treated in such a way. I am come to steal it all away...

"But I didn't do anything wrong." Naoko replied, wincing when he heard Ryu's body hit the wall. "I took... I took it out of his pocket. That's all. I didn't open it or answer it or anything, Hayato! I didn't try to escape all night! I stayed up here all quiet and... and... and I didn't want you to wake up so I was trying to make it quiet but I couldn't see what I was doing because it was behind me and... and..." there were tears in the blond's eyes as he watched the corpse dangle from Hayato's grip.

Like a thief in the night..."Hm...." he regarded Naoko with a cold gaze, then let Ryu's body slip from his hand, hitting the floor with a sickening thunk. "Well, I suppose that is enough, then..." To Hayato...this was his way of being merciful. Crouching down beside the blond, he reached out, stroking his lovely bruised and bloodstained face. "Are you hungry?" he asked, obviously offering the comfort of food. It wasn't his intention to kill the pianist....hadn't really been his intention to kill the violinist...and he was well prepared to give the basics for Naoko's survival. "Today...I'm going to speak to Jun..." he suddenly said, as if this would somehow please Naoko greatly. "I've been waiting so, so very long for this day. I can't wait to hear his voice. I wonder if he will still call me Oniisan?" It was plain to see that Hayato was very pleased with all of this, truly believing that he would have his brother back very soon...all to himself forever. I am come to steal it all away...

Naoko lifted his face with Hayato's movements, looking into the other man's eyes as he tried to read if this question were a trick of some sort. "I... I haven't eaten since... since the morning of the concert..." the blond whispered softly, regarding the other man for a long long time. "Ju... Jun... won't be happy, Hayato. I mean... I don't think this will make him happy..." Naoko whispered hesitantly. "He's different lately... I... Just don't expect too much..." It was true, the pianist had noticed quite a change in Jun... and he guessed it came from his notion about Shou being Sai. After all, the vocalist had seemed suddenly infatuated with Shou...

Like a thief in the night...Hayato just laughed. "I don't expect him to be happy, kitten. I mean...he ******** shot me. To death! Or so he thought, at least. That's why I needed you. To prove a point. He will come back, once he knows I'm alive, and that I have you here. He'll come and give himself to me in exchange for your safety. JunJun wouldn't just leave you here. He knows I'd kill you if he refused, and he won't let that happen. I know my little brother too well." he said, giving the pianist a pat on the head. "I'm going to go make you some breakfast. You must be starving." Hayato stood and headed back down the stairs, going to the kitchen to prepare food for them both. I am come to steal it all away...

"You give him too much credit..." Naoko whispered. Though he would be overjoyed if Jun came and exchanged himself for the blond... he doubted it would happen... Jun didn't love him like that... Oumori Naoko had been a convenience... a toy... nothing more. Least ways... the pianist didn't think he was anything special.
It was true though, Naoko was hungry... and yet... amber eyes focused on the slumped corpse once more. He moved, laying on his side, watching Ryu's lifeless body, back to the door. It was probably some sort of sick trap... but Naoko really didn't care anymore... As far as he was concerned... this would be his fate.

Like a thief in the night...In about thirty minutes time, Hayato returned to the attic with a large plate with enough food for two and one pair of chopsticks. Obviously, he intended to share. The meal consisted of plain omelets, rice, sliced strawberries, and strips of sauteed beef. Very simple, but nutritious enough. Sitting down, Hayato folded his legs underneath himself, taking up the chopsticks. "Itadakimasu, ne?" he chuckled, taking a bite of the beef with a bite of the omelet, chewing it slowly, savoring the taste. With the chopsticks, he took up some of the egg and beef and held it out for his prisoner. At least he was kind enough to sit there and take the time to feed Naoko...otherwise the blond would have been forced to shove his face onto the plate and eat like a dog. I am come to steal it all away...
