Sirius nodded gravely. "Let's go. Right now. I don't like this feeling." He ran just behind Remus, prepared to attack if necessary. He stopped short when he saw a similar but vastly bigger silhouette standing just out of the Whomping Willow's reach. "REMUS..! It's Greyback!" A growl rose in throat at the thought.

Remus stopped when he saw it was Greyback. He took a quick sniff to see if anymore of the pack was there. "Siri don't growl." It was hard enough for Remus to resist trying to eat James every now and then he didn't want to risk it was Greyback around. He hoped James would slip away and head back to school.
Remus trotted over to Greyback and bowed. "I'm honored by your presence so please don't take this wrong but what are you doing here?"
James wasn't going to leave his friends if they might be in trouble. Of course he wasn't realizing that he was the trouble.
Greyback nodded his head. "I had expected you to come introduce your mate to the pack formal once you had marked him. I have to say I'm disappointed Remus."
Remus hung his head in shame when Greyback said he was disapointed. "I'm sorry. I was planning on bringing him so that you could meet him, but, something has come up that has required most of my attention. I didn't expect you to want me to introduce him to the entire pack. I didn't think that would be good with him being human." Remus looked over at Sirius. "Siri will you come over here to meet Greyback."

Sirius snapped his teeth as he snarled, "No! I will not." He turned on James. "If Remus says it's all right, it is. Get out of here before someone tries to eat you.

James nodded and ran off. He realized he should probably tell Dumbledore that Greyback was in the forest anyways.
Remus flipped around when Sirius refused to move or stop growling. He growled at him. "Sirius get over here NOW!" He was already in enough trouble with Greyback why was Sirius trying to make it worse for him?
"You wouldn't have this problem if you just turned him. I could turn him for you if you don't think you have it in you to turn him." Greyback licked his lips.
"He is my mate. You know you cannot harm him while I'm still part of the pack." Remus didn't know how much longer he would be part of the pack though. If he kept the baby and it was human there was no way he'd be able to stay in the pack any longer with a human mate and child.

Sirius was frightened, but he'd be damned if he let anyone else present know that. He followed Remus command to go meet Greyback, but he did nothing about the growl rumbling deep in his throat. "If you touch me, Greyback, I swear I'll rip you to shreds."

Remus nuzzled Sirius when he came over. "Please be nice. I won't let him hurt you." He kissed Sirius' muzzle.
Greyback chuckled at Sirius' threat. "Do you want to try? We could fight now."
"No! He's just being protective of me. He's everything you could possibly want in a mate."
Greyback refocused on Remus."He's not a were. I was hoping he'd reject you so you'd rejoin the pack and mate with one of your own."
"That's a horrible thing to say. You'd wish one of your children to go through the pain and possible death from being rejected by their mate just because you don't agree with their speices?"
"I'm sorry. You're right, Remus. That was mean of me to wish. I'm glad that you are happy. But you're mate won't be safe in the pack if he remains human. The same goes for your child and I'm sure you know that. I cannot offer them protection from everyone during the full moons."
"So you know about the baby?"
"I assumed, A were's best chace of getting pregnant is during the time the bond between mates is forming."

"And just how did he get pregnant? In case it escaped your notice, he's a male. It's pretty impossible for males to get pregnant."

"There is a lot of power in a bond. It can do some amazing things. Now if you two want anymore children you're going to have to try a lot harder. The best chance would be during the full moon."

"We don't want children! This was an accident. We're still in school, you... you..." Sirius cut himself off with a snarl, his hackles raising again.

Remus felt like crying when he heard Sirius say that. No wonder he was treating him so different lately.
Greyback growled at Sirius. "Think before you open your mouth. Can't you see you just made Remus sad?" He looked at Remus. "Unless you've changed your mind recently about kids."
Remus was shocked when Greyback stood up for him. Maybe he really did see him as a sort of son. He shook his head at Greyback's question. "No I still like kids and want them."

Sirius drooped immediately. He hadn't meant for the words to sound the way they had. "That's not what I meant," he whimpered softly. "I only meant that... Now... Right now, we didn't want kids."

"I'm sorry to just leave Remus but I do need to make sure the rest of the pack is well." Remus bowed to him before he ran off in the opposite direction of the school, which made Remus relax.

Sirius relaxed when Greyback vanished. "How did he even get on the grounds anyway," he grumbled, shaking his head, then the rest of his body to relax his muscles.

"The forest doesn't have the same protections as the school. Or I wouldn't be able to stand out here either." Remus wagged his tail a little and rubbed up against Srius. "I just realized we're alone now." Remus wanted to lighten the mood after Greyback was there. He was really afraid that Greyback wouldn't control himself and attack someone.
