Remus howled softly to Sirius enjoying him rubbing up against him. Though it was more teasing from Sirius then he wished for when Sirius was on his no sex kick. "I don't care if people see us. It's that there's a bed in the shack to lay on. But we'll cuddle up here if that's what you want." Remus curled up on the ground.

Sirius licked across the top of Remus's nose and curled next to him, flopping his tail over his eyes. Just remember... back in before sunrise. Else, you'll be naked.

Remus licked his muzzle in return and curled up closer to him. "I wouldn't hoped you'd want to see me naked." Remus yawned and closed his eyes.
"But I don't." James laid down down too since his firends weren't going to be doing anything.

Sirius laughed and swished his tail briefly across Remus's eyes in a short wag. I won't leave your side at all. Even after you change. He spared a moment to give a doggy grin to James, then closed his eyes again, dozing lightly.
He woke several hours later, whining as he yawned. Up, he commanded.Something's not right.

Remus whined as Sirius woke him up. "What do you mean?"

I don't know. Something just feels off. Sirius paced to James and gave him a hard knock with his heavy paw. Get up, James. Did anyone see Peter come out tonight?

"Ow I was already up. No I didn't see him come out. I was with Lily before I came to join you two in the hospital wing. I had figured he had just laid down early and didn't wake up in time for the transformation."

Quit whining. It could have been your head. Maybe it's just Peter come out late. He knows better than to sneak up on us, though. Peter? Peter, it that's you, show yourself. As a warning, Sirius added a growl at the end of his call, his hackles raised.

"I'm fine. I just hurt." Remus wasn't going to add that it didn't feel like usual transformation pain though because he didn't want to worry Sirius. "Besides there's nothing we can do about it untill morning anyways. But just to make sure there's nothing around that's making you feel like something's wrong I'll go take a look around." Remus got up and started searching around the spot they were at to see if anything was out of place.

"You will not. You lay back down," he snapped. "I'll go look. You're probably right. I'm probably just sensing your discomfort." He licked Remus's nose reassuringly. "I'll be right back, okay?"

Remus knew that was a 'do not argue with me' tone so he didn't and just laid back down like Sirius said. "Ok. Please be quick." Remus smiled to himself.
Once Sirius was off James laid back down facing towards Remus. "I've never heard Sirius use that kind of tone before."
"He's never been my mate before. He's worried about me." Remus knew Sirius only spoke to him like that out of worry for him because of his love of Remus.

Sirius came trotting back about thirty minutes later. "There's something in the forest, but I ran into a centaur, and he said that as far as he could tell it wasn't dangerous. Still... It puts me on edge. James, don't you feel it?"

"Let's just go back to the shack. Weither it's bad or not we'll be safe there. Dumbledore has put protections on it." Remus wondered if it could be Greyback. He had expected him to see how the mating went but he didn't think he'd leave the pack during the full moon. Remus didn't think the whole pack would be there and if they were all three of them would be in trouble since few in the pack held Remus in any sort of favorable light.
