I hope so too! I mean, I've not really spoken to her but I feel bad all the same. D:
I like that you're always here. If I had a little more time to be working on my novels I'd be here 24/7, I just don't have any progress to post if I'm not making any! XD

I think any activity is better than nothing at this point! You always give us somebody to return to, which is really nice. :] I like that if I'm back in the summer then I won't be returning to an empty guild.
Though I do think we need to try to get some new members... Any ideas?

PMS = There have been people applying to join that I've added, but I think the general lack of people actually posting anything makes them less likely to actually post.. I don't have time to be in more than a few places in the guild sadly.. I don't know what to do

I know how you feel, Chan. Time is a real killer. But you're right, there have been people joining for a long time. Perhaps what we could do is a giant purge? You know, send out a mass announcement telling people that we will be getting rid of members, and then create a thread in the main forum for people to post in if they wish to stay. And perhaps in that thread we could outline a new initiative, and encourage people to post more often. That way, even if we don't have a lot of members, we do know that some of them are alive - and they know that we are alive. And if nobody posts/wants to stay, we start advertising in the writer's forum. I can probably do that some more in the summer (oh, I say that every year...) Heh. I dunno. It's an idea?

That sounds like a good thing.. like purging people who joined ages ago but never ever posted.. The only thing I worry about with purges is not being able to warn people about being kicked out.. 'cause some people have work/family/school situations that keep them away from the 'net entirely..

Yeah, I worry about that, too. Perhaps we can do it in stages. First we send out an announcement and we purge people who have never posted but have been members a long time. Then we wait a month, send out another announcement and purge people who haven't posted in a long time, but who have posted. Then, we wait again and finally send out a final message and get rid of those people who have joined recently but haven't posted. That'll give us something to start afresh with, and we can begin advertising? :3
