Listening to how Syn met Morgan, it must've been an interesting encounter, "So wait after that you guys just went out for coffee? Normally in TV shows, it's at the precinct. Plus I kinda wish I'd seen his face when you told him you're a guy. Though once you move in, you're gonna have a lotta farmer boys if they see you at the weekly farmer's market." She says when she sees a few cars of people she know pass by waving at her and Syn. She warns Syn to watch his back though but nonetheless she began to have a friendly conversation with Syn during the walk to kill time. The farm wasn't that far as it came into view as they take a small walk path that cuts through a small grape vine patch which belongs to the farm they're going as they approach barn which also serves as a home as Pam states. "Well

Syn shrugged. "I thought that too. But he invited me to this cafe to talk about what I had seen or rather felt that night and I decided why not. And tv is nothing likr real life." he started. "Then he took me to see Yaga Baba. That...was an interesting experience to say the least." he replied, waving back to those who had waved at him. It was only polite. He looked at her flatly. "Please don't jinx me. I have enough problems now and don't need more guys coming after me. Though thank you for your concern." he added with a smile as they continued to walk, chatting to kill time as they came up to the farm. "Oh! Its lovely." he said after a minute of staring. He could feel the care and love the former couple had given the land. But the land felt...sad for a lack of a better word. Hmm. Was it because it missed the couple that took such good care of it? Probably. He would have to check to mske sure. "So, can we get a closer look?" he asked, turning to Pam while gently slapping away the grape vine that seemed determined to latch onto him. And it begins.

A small drop of sweat runs down Pam's cheek as she nonchalantly try figure out what she's going to say before she clears her throat, "W-well... technically this is still private property and what we're doing is technically trespassing, but the bank doesn't really do much and I wasn't gonna let Hugh and Gaby's crops die out just because a bank wouldn't lift a finger to have someone take care of em." she chuckles nervously afterwards take quick glances including from where they came from and sighs a bit figuring the coast is clear as she walks closer to the barn. Having a spare key though, she unlocks the door and clearly the bank didn't really do much to make sure no one trespasses as she states they're just lazy corporate morons that doesn't do much except live a life in luxury and waste time. Pam opens the door and turns on the light and says the house runs on solar due to the old couple not wanting to rely too heavily on the power company in these parts, she talked about a few things while giving Syn a tour of the place, from the master bedroom on the right side of the barn-house and the guest bedroom upstairs with a small bathroom opposite of it, to the greenhouse segment that lines the back side of the barn, it didn't had much space but still had quite a bit of leg space as there were dozens of herbs and plants still healthy and well while some that weren't doing so well were placed in a neat corner with looks of attempt into nurturing them. "Hey Gerry forgot her journal, she's always finding ways to bring these plants back to life and writes down a lot of stuff when her attempts fail or whenever there's a slight improvement. Well it's kinda cool how a botanist work but her baking could use a little improvement." she chuckled while putting the journal someplace where it wouldn't get any moisture on it.

Syn remained silent as he watched Pam make sure the coast was clear. He was amused by her behavior but decided to keep his comments to himself as they made their way to the barn. Already, he could feel the land responding to his magic but he made sure not to let his magic run free just yet as he hsd to get the land to accept him before trying to nurture it back to health. "Well, I think thier idiots. If there is no sign saying 'N Tresspassing', then we're really not." he replied as Pam gave him a tour of the place. It was bright and very spacious. He likes it instantly. He looked around the greenhouse and frowned to himself. A lot of these plants really needed help but he felt like he was up to the challenge. And with that, he got to his knees, placing his hands play of the ground and let his magic out and asking the spirit that protected this place if it was okay for him to live here. He made sure to be polite and to show them that he really wanted to help out this place if given the chance. He knew he must look like quite a sight to Pam with him on the ground, his magic spinning around him as he awaited a response from the earth. A few seconds later, he got his answer and the land's approval after it had seemed him worthy. Well, that was a relief.

Watching what Syn does, Pam can't help being amazed and yet slightly taken aback by the sight of magic considering most magic users lived in the cities or capitol giving a slight whistle when Syn looked relieved. "Boy what I'd get for every penny when I see magic being done right in front of me, Avery's thing is another, but actual magic from a person, that's above." she said with gestures, Avery's scroll magic was something to note though for someone who's adept and is born with magic surely ranked high on spectacle and wonder. The tour was cut short when a truck horn was heard beeping outside though it had a specific tune in which Pam went all white, the sound of a vehicle door opening and closing gave her cold sweats and out the window, the deputy knocks on the glass of the greenhouse, giving Pam a stern look and raising an eyebrow at Syn, she walks towards the door and opens it as she approaches the two. The deputy crossed her arms across her chest not looking pleased as Pam could only let out a nervous chuckle, "H-hey there deputy Charlotte, w-what're you doing here." there was a bit of mousy squeak a little.

The deputy eyes Syn for a moment before giving Pam her attention putting a hand on her hip, "Pam, you and I both know these banks run this town and everyone knows not to trespass, but considering how lazy they are, I'm just doing my job by placing these "No Trespassing" sign just out the gate, except there was a missing sign this morning." unhappy but not at all mad, deputy charlotte tapped her foot once which Pam reacted with a slight yelp but sighs. "Come on you two, I ain't escorting you to jail, I'll just drop you off at Avery's." she waits for the two by the door to finish up whatever they're doing before leaving with them.

Syn looked back at Pam with a smile. "Yeah? It's been a while since I let loose like this. But in any case, I have the land's permission to live here. As long as I help restore the land and crops that is." he replied before finishing up and reigning his magic back in just as he heard a horn honk. He started in surprise before looking over at Pam to see that she was nervous and then the knocking at the window. Syn just gave the woman a flat stare, not at all impressed with her before dusting off the dirt on his hands and jeans, once he had stood up. The deputy did not impress him and he did not like her attitude though she was only doing her job. "Well, soon the bank won't have to worry about this farm." He said calmly, probably guessing that his calm and unimpressed attitude probably rubbed the blonde woman the wrong way. Not that he gave a damn. He could feel the earth shift suddenly and slam into the deputy, nearly knocking her off her feet. Apparently, the spirit of the land didn't like the deputy either. "Come on, Pam. Let's head back." he added to his companion cheerfully as he grabbed Pam by the wrist and led her outside.

"Wait hold on." Pam stated before they leave as she helps the deputy up with her tail, the deputy didn't seem phased one bit though she was caught off guard as she gave Syn one good look before nodding, "Druid huh? Guess Avery wasn't kidding when he said there'd be a newcomer in town." She stabilizes herself as she leans onto Pam before dusting herself off as well, the atmosphere between the two changed in an instant as Charlotte looked more like an aunty than a deputy where as Pam was like someone's niece as they all walked up to the deputy's pickup. Though Charlotte did gave Pam a slight bonk to the head, "Ow what was that for?" she exclaimed rubbing her head, "That's for trespassing without permission young lady, I know Hugh and Gaby wouldn't mind but you know damn well you need to ask me before flying in here like you own the place." pinching Pam's ear as she flails a bit before letting go as Pam apologizes even though it's been the thousandth time she's trespassed before Charlotte patted her on the head. "Come on dummy, I'll bring you and the druid back to Avery's farm and this time you'll learn to give me a call so I can at least make sure you don't steal anything." Forgiving Pam as she heads on over to the drivers seat. "Hey I never steal... I just borrowed some stuff, I did returned them." Pam impishly say though there was a bit of mumbling as she must've "borrowed" some other stuff.

Syn watched the scene, smiling despite himself. He guessed the deputy wasn't so bad. "Yep." he replied to the deputy's statement. "Name's Syn. Nice to meet you." he added with another smile. He could tell that the two had a good relationship and he wasn't so defensive now. But after a few minutes, he started not to feel too well and had to lean against the car to steady himself. He blinked a few times when his vision started to swim and his head started to throb. Huh. Guess he had used up too much of his magic today. He was starting to feel the backlash of using too much. "Hey, ladies..." he started, trying to get thier attention but he was cut off when his world tilted upwards and he fell backwards onto the ground with a soft thump. The last thought that crossed his mind was 'Damn. This is so embarrassing...' before everything went dark and his body went slack.

Pam caught Syn before he could fall to the ground as Charlotte rushed over to see what was wrong but couldn't really figure out why, till Char got Pam to carry Syn into the back of the pickup with her since she couldn't fit in the passenger seat. It wasn't long before they're already out on the road heading towards Darebelly Farm.

Time had passed quite a bit as Avery and Gerry are sitting on the bench having Syn resting his head on Gerry's lap, though Avery on the other hand was doing a bit of close observation before getting his hair out of his eyes as he clears his throat a bit, though he was stopped a bit by his wife as she gave him a stern look. Pam, Char, and Yui were inside though Char came out for a bit of air as she stopped Avery from doing something silly. "Avery don't mess with the kid, he just collapsed a couple hours ago." Charlotte crossed her arms and raising an eyebrow against Avery as he let out a nervous chuckle not wanting to anger the deputy. Resting his chin on Gerry's knee though, he just sank and got comfy from having his chin on his wife's lap, "Come on I was just gonna tease Syn with my impression of Morgan, besides, something's bugging me about seeing these two together." Avery observed wiggling his nose a bit from the flowers on Syn's head. "Syn~~ Syn~~~ time to wake up sweety." Avery said in a soft voice brushing a strand of Syn's hair outta the way though Char and Gerry only had that "Oh god" look on their faces when Avery played the sultry card. "Well good news is that he just exhausted his energy when he let his magic free roaming." Avery informing Charlotte of what might've been the cause for Syn to pass out like that.

Syn had been vaguely aware that he had been caught before he bit the ground which was good as the hard ground was not good for his back. After some time in tje back of the truck, he felt his head resting on someone's lap and could hear voices. Ah. He must be back on the farm with the others. He could clearly hear the conversation going on despite being out of it. Him and Morgan? They were just friends. He couldn't help but snort out loud when Avery tried a sultry voice on him. "If you weren't Morgan's brother, I'd punch you for attempting that." he said and finally opened his eyes, blinking a few times until his vision cleared. Ugh. He felt tired. He managed to sit himself up from Gerry's lap, groaning tiredly. "Hey, everyone." he said after getting his bearings. He looked over to Pam and the deputy. "Thanks for bringing me back ladies." said, bowing his head in thanks to the two women. "So, how long was I out?" he asked Avery after a second.

Putting a finger on thought, Avery checked his watch though Pam looked at Charlotte's watch, "It's been 5 hours since you've been unconscious, we rushed you to the farm since, well Gerry's also a local doctor in these parts and she doesn't charge for money, though folks around here would end up trading a checkup for some of their produce." Pam said as Gerry gave Syn a peace sign along with a smile, it's gotten cold though as Charlotte helped fix the blanket that was on Syn. Avery chuckled slightly before clearing his throat, "Alright well I gotta continue making dinner for tonight, you staying for a meal Char?" he asked as he stands up, "Well I ain't got time to cook dinner at home so why not, hope you two don't mind me spending the night on the couch." Charlotte accepts the invite as Avery allowed her to stay the night but argues that she should move out of the other town since she is a deputy in this town which Charlotte agrees but she's still trying to find a place that's up to buy. "Well I'll see you guys inside then." Avery said walking towards the door, Gerry fixed the scarf around her and looked a the sun as it sets, Charlotte on the other hand limbers up as she looks at Gerry for a bit crossing her arms. "Gerry, how many masters degree do you actually have?" she wonders considering how Gerry never talked much, though to her surprise, Gerry did a gesture where she zips her lips and Charlotte looking like she saw a cliffhanger, "That tore it, aight imma go head inside and wait till dinner's ready." taking off her hat as she walked inside.

Pam on the other got the opportunity to rest her head upon Gerry's lap which caught the fox off guard since she was about to get up though she allowed Pam to spoiler herself and it wasn't long when Gerry stroked Pam's hair and looking like an older sister. "You're missing out on this Syn, but since there's only one room on the fluffy lap imma take your place here." Pam impishly claims the unoccupied space for herself before getting her cheeks pinched by Gerry. After that, Gerry make a key unlocking gesture to Syn to try on the door to his new room inside the house, it seems to be in the main floor as she points at the hallway.

Syn couldnt help but blink at that statement. 5 hours? Huh. That wasn't so bad. Usually it's more but then again this time he wasn't training or fighting for his life, so it that was good considering. He thanked Charlotte for the blanket before he heard his stomach rumble loudly when Avery mentioned dinner. He blushed lightly, placing a hand on his stomach sheepishly. He always got hungry after using a lot of magic. It was his body telling him not to do it again and to get some good in him to refill his energy reserves. He snorted at what Pam said, rolling his eyes as he stood up before folding the blanket up and setting it aside. He looked at Gerry when she gestured towards the hallway of thr main floor. Ah. He had forgotten about that. "Thanks, Mix Gerry. I'll go have a look now." He said with a small smile as he headed towards the room where he would be staying until he could buy the Meadow Farm. He used the key to open the door once he located and pushed it wider to see into the room.

While Syn heads on to his soon-to-be bedroom, Gerry busily spoils Pam with head pats.

Avery leaving the kitchen for a bit sees Syn heading off to the spare bedroom he'll be staying in once he's moved in as he followed the young healer to the room and leaned on the door frame looking inside once the door was opened. "Yeah, got a lot of light in here though it's been a long time since anyone decided to walk inside, it's just another guest room though the daughter of the previous owner, the one before the one who used to own this land, stayed here till they sold the place to us." Avery says as he let Syn head on in and walked in before him, the place was a little dusty and the bedsheets and pillow casings may need a thorough washing or at least some changing. The mattress itself could use a little freshen up. "Hey at least you got a good amount of light coming in." Avery being optimistic even though the room needed some well deserved cleaning. "So what do you think? A nice room for a druid?" he said trying not to chuckle from the excitement of a new addition to the house even if it's for a few days or week.

Ooc: Nah that's okay, fits well with the farmhouse. Though sometimes I wonder why they leave the lights on when there's so much light.

Syn turned when he heard Avery's voice, finding him standing in the doorway. "Ah. I see." he replied after a second of listening to the other male. He turned back to notice that the room needed a lot of dusting but he didn't mind. "I see this place needs a dusting. If you want I can come back with some clean sheets and pillowcases. But other than that, I think it's awesome." he added with a smile, coughing as he accidentally hit the bed with his hand, kicking up a dust storm. "Whoops. Sorry about that." he said after getting his coughing under control. Yeah. There was going to be a through dusting before he left. That was for sure. "Oh, I wanted to also let you know that I'll be moving here in a day or so. Is that okay?" he said, frowning to himself and wondering if it was too soon for him to move in. He hoped that Avery would be okay with it.

Avery looked surprised that Syn would be moving in so soon after just one visit though he couldn't help but smile. "Wow, guess coming to the country side must've gotten you hook." he chuckled as he waved Syn's worry over moving in so suddenly, Avery seemed more than happy to let him move in this soon, though he stated he'll need to update a few important things, including official documents to avoid any troubles in the future. "Well leave the cleaning to me and the guys, don't worry about doing the cleaning yourself, better to focus on making sure you've got everything with you before the move." patting Syn on the back and just as he was gonna check the closet to see if it needs a bit cleaning, a timer in the kitchen went off as dinner is soon to be ready, Avery excused himself out of the room to have the girls set the table while he plates tonight's meal.
