Roll response: On the other side of the maze he swam towards a crevasse. While exploring it and searching for the others he noticed the walls seemed to be shaking. He felt more than heard a rumble in the water and looked up to see an underwater avalanche crashing towards him! He swam as fast as he could to escape the crevasse and the rocks that were falling down.

"Nothing!" yelled Jack at the serpent. The sea serpent hissed angrily to be robbed of its meal and let the little seathi pass.

Roll response: Escaping the death trap that was the crevasse Kurone stopped for a moment to catch his breath. While he was floating a sea serpent swam up to him and proposed a contest of riddles. The prize was not being eaten. Kurone answered the riddles correctly and on the question that was stumping him he managed to distract the serpent so he could escape. The trick of gasping and gesturing to something behind the other creature and going 'look at that!' still works like a charm.

Roll response: When the crevasse rose before Jack he was a bit hesitant to enter. However his conviction to continue goaded him onward. He was about halfway through when a tremor shivered through the water. He paused to glance around looking to see what had caused it. This very quickly became obvious as a mistake as the first rocks began to fall. He sprang into action and began swimming as fast as he could for the other side before he became trapped or crushed or both.
