Whatever the city was called reminded her of a mining city with some Pewter City mixed into the batch. The place had a very rocky exterior to it with various mining carts going here and there. She was familiar with coal but not on this scale. This would be Misa’s first experience in exploring a coal city. Even though coal wasn’t very good to the environment it did have properties that were beneficial to some people. Thought that was politics that no one had the time for. Scarlett's trip down memory lane continued as she landed in Oreburgh... Sort of. Actually, her memory of the mining city was hazy at best. All she remembered was being pissed at Zak after their initial meeting and burning through Roark for her badge. She had tossed all social graces aside and didn't even cover her accent when dealing with the gym leader, she didn't care, she just wanted to blow off steam and make progress in her badge progression while she was at it. It was a shame, really. Oreburgh was like a giant excavation site with a museum of fossils, and she would have loved it had she taken the time to notice before, but she couldn't blame her past self for being so near sighted on the matter, and now she could remedy whatever losses she'd suffered due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding her last visit.

Grasping Vandal's pokeball, Scarlett debated what to tell him. Surely he wouldn't appreciate it if she went to the museum instead of helping look for the egg. Battling gym leaders was one thing, but pleasure tours were another. She couldn't lie and suggest she had reason to suspect that it could be in the museum either, since none of the eggs they'd found had ever been inside a building anywhere. In fact most of the time Scarlett had come to a new area, she'd insisted that they shouldn't check indoors. The mansion on cinnabar island had been the only exception. There was one half truth she could tell, and it would be rough, but at least convincing.

With her mind set, Scarlett sent Vandal out. "Alright, you know the deal. Go look for an egg, I have some business to attend." Vandal quirked an eyebrow. "What sort of business cap?""The kind that's none of your concern." Vandal gave Scarlett a flat look. "I just want to know where I'm meeting ya if I find an egg. No need to get snippy lady." Scarlett sighed. "Fine. I'll be at the museum." She jerked her head towards the large building near the back of the city, and Vandal nodded, not asking any further questions, which Scarlett appreciated as they quickly went their separate ways.

Entering the Oreburgh museum, Scarlett was somewhat disappointed that displays and facts about coal predominated most of the building. Coal was an important source of fuel and from a scientific standpoint Scarlett supposed it was interesting how fossils from both plant and animal matter could be pressed into coal, but it was a perfectly good waste of fossils in Scarlett's opinion. Especially when there were so many energy alternatives to coal, not to mention they were all healthier and eco friendly too. Not that Scarlett really cared about environmentally friendly energy sources so much as saving fossils to study, learn from, and in extreme cases, revive.
