Marco walked with him back to his room. What Marco and Olan didn't know was there was a revolution taking place and soon the prison would be emptied and Marco would turn into the prisioner.

Olan had happened to look out a window to see a huge skirmish. Masses of prisoners were overtaking the guards, who were trying desperately to shoot them down. There were so many. They must have snapped.

Marco came running into the room. "Olan please come with me. I have to leave and I want you to come with me."

Leave? As in, get out of this place? It must have had something to do with the battle outside. It would make sense. Marco was supposed to be on the very side of those who kept the prisoners where they were. He was different, however.

Olan didn't want to waste too much time thinking about the current circumstances. The revolution could reach them any moment, and he honestly didn't want them to get caught up in it. The deaf boy took Marco's hand, nodding his consent.

Marco smiled. "Thank you." He grabbed a bag that had things he needed and left. He set fire to the records that concerned him on their way out. He was so glad that Olan was coming with him. He had considered not even running if Olan hadn't.

They made it into the forest being able to get away from the fighting. When they were a safe distance away Marco pulled out clothes for both of them. "Here get changed. We stick out in these outfits." He started changing.

Olan proceeded to change as well. The new clothes felt odd on his skin. When was the last time he had normal clothes? He wasn't sure he wanted to remember. It shouldn't matter, anyhow. There was a more important and more exciting realization.

They were finally outside the prison. Olan took a while to look around him. Green. Green and brown everywhere. More trees than he had ever seen at once. A glorious change from what he was used to. It doesn't seem like they will stay, though. "Marco, where will we go now?"

He changed and lefted their old clothes. "We will leave the country. I've got passports for us and a car to take us away." He lead him to the car and threw what he had in the trunk before opening Olan's door for him.

Olan would have asked what would happen if they got caught, but he figured he should trust that Marco knew what to do. He could only trust him now. A thought then struck him. "Can we possibly find my home? I want to know where I lived before."

Marco frowned. He couldn't see anything good coming from going to Olan's old house. "I don't know Olan."

"I just want to see if it's still there. Just a glance!" Olan pleaded. "It's not like we'll stay there for even a day."

He nodded to him. "Ok one look." He started the car and started to his old house.

Olan stared out the window of the car anxiously, trying to find any familiar structure. He wondered if, over these years, the place would still be standing. Would he remember anything if he saw it?

Marco pulled up to his old house which was still standing. "I'm pretty sure this was your house."

It was an average two-story house, gray with age. Indeed, there was an air of familiarity. Though it seemed ordinary, there was a suspicious dry patch of blood in front of it, barely concealed by overgrown dead grass. He suddenly felt the urge to go inside and see if there was anything else there, but he was sure he wouldn't like it.
