Akari took a really deep breath and lets it out,looking at Len. She pushes him slowly after a few seconds, showing that she has already calmed down.
"Look, i'm caught in a big trouble right now...", she facepalmed and sigh. "The Sea kingdom's prince, The prince of Ice is on the loo-- i mean, he hasn't been seen for about a week, the fire kingdom might be in grim danger". she said, looking at Len with her sharp eyes, yet her face shows concern.

❀⊰ Len took a step back, he was obviously a bit shocked at this information. Dante looked at him carefully. They know... They must have spies of their own.. Len thought. He looked down for a moment. Then he looked back at Akari and nodded. "Yes, I understand. That would make anyone uneasy I guess.. He is said to be the most powerfull ice magicion in the Sea Kingdom.." He said, trying to sound concerned. ⊱❀

Akari looks down for a moment, thinking what she should do. She fastens her fist,"Spark and the others can defend the kingdom, i'll head out to the Sea kingdom and face him myself", Akari looked to him, her eyes is filled with determination, not minding about her own life.

❀⊰ Len grabbed her arm. "No." he said flatly. "I won't allow you to go there alone." He told her in a dead-serious tone. "The cold alone will kill you before you even reach the first city." His voice showed a tad more conceren for her. ⊱❀

Akari smiles at him,"you underestimate me, Len. It won't be that hard for me to reach the kingdom". of course that's because i have the underground secret passage's map to that place, good thing i keep all the copies of the castle's project...,she thought as she spoke to him. "besides, if the soldiers are split into two group, they won't be strong enough for either attack or defense. who else will defeat the prince if they got wiped out?". She tried to convince Len.

❀⊰ Len sighed. "At least don't go alone. Isn't there someone you can trust? Someone you know can handle the job without slowing you down? Someone who can keep you alive?" His voice held a pleading tone. He wanted to know that she would be alight. Dante could hardly beilieve what he saw... ⊱❀

"Hmmm....", she puts her hand in front of her lips, looking down, thinking. Then she took a peek at Len as she decided, she pointed her finger at him, "i guess that'll be you,then". She said lightly to him.

"You know a lot about the Sea kingdom after your study, don't you? i bet that would help a lot", she close her eyes to think again, just in case she can find someone else to help her.

❀⊰ Dante finally understood. Or at least, he thought he did. Dante now thought that Tamlen would lead the Fire Princess to capture. Len paled. It was a look that pretty much said: 'Oh s**t, I'm screwed.'. He looked down. There was no getting out of this.. He looked at he again. "Fine, but you're packing warmer clothes first! It's unbearbly cold there. That skimpy little dress won't even get you a mile." He told her. ⊱❀

"H-hey! it's not skimpy!", Akari blushed a bit, while pulling the corner of her skirt down, "says the guy who don't wear any shirt...",she pouted at him.

Akari sighed, "I don't want to waste anymore time, ok...", she opened a portal big enough for her hand to slip through, she pulls out her hand along with a thick coat. "heh, i never thought learning this portal spell would be so useful", she chuckled a bit.

"Ok, i got everything I need, we should head out now", she nodded to Len, telling him that she's ready.

He responded with a subdued smile. After a short silence, he spoke.
"Is it getting hotter?" He rolled up his sleeves and tried to let off some of the extra heat. They were approaching the front very quickly.

❀⊰ While Akari was breifly casting her spell, Tamlen turned to Dante to whisper at him. "Send word to my cousin at the border. Tell her to use my cover name." It was a direct order. Dante nodded. When Akari looked back at them, Tamlen turned around. "If you just teleport to the Sea Kingdom, the cold will overwelm you too fast. You need to let your body adjust a bit. We should travel to the border on foot." He told her. Realistically, he needed his message to arrive before him.. Plus he didn't feel comfortable using the portal. And besides, isn't the fun in the journey? : D ⊱❀

"that's fine, It's not like i want to barge in into enemy's teritory, I might get killed". Akari ties up the coat's sleeves around her waist, it's still too hot for her to use it now.
"besides, the portal doesn't work that way. If you use it to go to a place that you don't know, it will warp you ramdomly, which means falling from the sky or into a mountain lava is not impossible". She explained to him briefly.

Aside from that fact, using portal magic also eats up a lot of energy, which right now is what akari needed most to go through a land that doesn't match her nature.

The sky is getting dark, Akari kept walking through their path, she wasn't able to speak much to Len for she was caught in fear.
Even though she have won many battles, the thought of getting killed in it still haunts her.

She lift her face to look if Len is still walking in front of her. She can see him, but her vision was covered by the fog that came from her own breath. She unties the coat from her waist to wear it and walks closer to len.

❀⊰ Tamlen breathed in deeply. He could tell they were at the border now, the cold helped his wound. After a while he looked back at Akari. He could tell that she was afraid. He slowed down to walk beside her. He took off his gloves and gave them to her. "Here. You need them more than I do." He told her. He looked at the sky. "It's getting dark.. We should start looking for a place to came soon." He said casually. ⊱❀
