"Just wondering around a bit." He smiled back with a shrug. "Say... you mentioned I could get a special someone something with that extra money. Any chance you'd know what a special someone might like?" He was trying to act innocent, but he was almost certain she'd know exactly who he was talking about.

This made her think a moment and look back into the shop. "Well someone might like a necklace. Simple, nothing fancy. Something with a stone pendant perhaps." She was a bit giddy at the thought of this. Her granddaughter getting gifts from a young man.

He nodded slowly and pulled the small box out of his pocket, opening it up to reveal the necklace inside. "Something like this?"

She covered her mother. "Its perfect." She finally said.  

[NightWerewolf]

"Glad to hear it. I didn't want to give her something to simple." He said, blushing a bit.

She took his face in her hands and kissed his cheek.

Bernadette was annoyed, she could hear her grandmother was talking to someone but couldn't tell who or what about. So she decided to come out and see, thats when she saw her kissing Alex on the cheek. She gave them a confused look.

Alex blinked not expecting the kiss on the cheek and gave a shrug to Bernadette when she came out, hiding the box behind him as he do so.

"Bubbee what are you doing?"

She smiled and let Alex go. "Nothing dieťa.' Then a thought came to her mind. "You two should go have some fun. Lovely day and all."

"Bubbee I still have work to-"

"No I insist. I can handle the shop the rest of the afternoon."

"Fun? There isn't a hell of a lot to do around here." He said simply, putting the box in his pocket, praying that Bernadette didn't notice. "Then again, a day off never hurt anyone."

"Bubbee." Bernadette wasn't sure she should go.

"I said go. Be a child for once." She gave her the no arguing look.

"Alright." She gave her grandmother a kiss on the cheek and a little awkwardly left the shop with Alex. " I don't get her sometimes."

"She's got a point. Can't be good for you to just be sitting in the shop every day." He shrugged. "I'm starting to get the feeling she really likes me though."

"Hang around anymore and that kiss might not be on the cheek next time." She teased.  

[NightWerewolf]

"That might be a little awkward." He chuckled softly. "To be honest I know why she did it. Just not sure I want to tell you that little secret yet." He said, teasing her back.

She crossed her arms over her chest. "Oh really. And why wouldn't you want to tell me?"  

[NightWerewolf]

"I get the feeling you're gonna try and kick my a**." He said with a nervous laugh as he fiddled around with the box in his pocket. "If you really want to know it'll be easier to just show you."
