[-][L-A][1x1] Without A Pack

Rayn merely smiled and looked around at the men and wolves surrounding him. It was unbelievable that he'd met so many genuienly kind people in less than a few hours, when he'd met none before in his lifetime. he felt blessed to know this pack, and honored that they acknowledged him. Even if only in a small way. He looked up and saw that the su was still high in the sky. Night would not be for a few more hours, so any deep conversation with Bray would have to wait. He sighed to himself and continued to pet his wolf's ears. "So what should we do now, Bray"

Bray looked up to Rayn as the man looked around. Bray tilted his head when asked what they should do. "Perhaps we should get you some food before deciding to explore. We could hear your stomach growl from a mile away." Ian said with a laugh. Bray barked in agreement and stood bouncing away from Rayn and then back.

Rayn blushed a slight pink. In all honesty, he hadn't noticed his own hunger until they had mentioned it. "That's....probably a good idea" he admited sheepishly, smiling a soft, almost embarassed smile. The human laughed as Bray bounced around, though. He seemed happier than before, and that made Rayn feel much more comforted

"I would think so." Zero laughed. "There is no need for you to collapse from hunger or exhaustion." Zero continued. "Ian, Kuro..."

"As you wish," Ian said with a nod.

"This way." Kuro stated leading the way to food. Bray followed looking back to Rayn to follow.

Rayn stood and followed, happily watching his wolf as he padded along with the others. Bray seemed to fit right in with this group. It was almost a shame they wouldn't be staying permanently....would they? The human thought about that for a while. Technically the two of them had left so they could form their own pack with Rayn as the Alpha, but if there were already a pack that accepted them, why would they leave?

Zero watched as Rayn pondered the situation around him. He knew something the man did not about the next couple of days at the very most. He knew the man before him was contemplating staying with his pack. "Here we are, help yourself to anything you would like." Kuro stated leading the men to the kitchen area. Among the counters was cooked and uncooked food, anything meat like and some vegetables.

Rayn happened to look back at Zero watching him. In the Alpha's eyes there was so much understanding and so much knowledge. Rayn knew why the pack followed him. He turned back to Bray as they entere the kitchen and shook any other thoughts away. Smiling, he walked over and began taking what he wanted, handing anything to Bray that the wolf wanted that was too high for him to reach.

Bray looked up to the man as they walked into the kitchen and began getting food. The black wolf would bark when Rayn got near anything that the wolf wanted to eat.

The man just smiled and gladly indulged the wolf in getting whatever he wanted. "I'm glad you still have an appetite, Bray. It's been a long day, huh?"

Bray looked up to the man when the man said that he was glad that he had an appetite. Giving a soft nod when asked about the long day the wolf pondered about what they would be doing next.

Rayn knelt down on one knee and stroked bray's ears. "What do you think, Bray, should we head back to the cabin for the night? I'll do whatever you want" The man spoke only the truth. He was Bray's, regardless of which of them was alpha. The human was entirely devoted to the wolf and would have given him anything, if only he'd asked.

Bray back up a bit as Rayn kneeled down to his level. Forest green eyes closed in a soft pleasure as his ears were stroked. Eyes opened again however with the question and the wolf boy tilted his head in confusion. He didn't know why they would go back when they were safe here. Bray didn't think his father would fight off an entire wolf pack to get to him. The wolf gave a soft whine trying to convey what he felt.

"He is fine with staying here and he fears his father will find him at the cabin." Kuro spoke.

Rayn smiled "I was thinking the same thing, to be honest. But I didn't want to impose anymore that we already have. You've done far too much for us already"
