Smiling, the prince sat up slightly, propping himself on his elbow, not willing to leave Kail's side. He was actually....happy to see these angels. They brought help for his beloved.
"Hello. Thank you for coming so quickly." Takehiko said pleasantly to the angels that just arrived.

 The angels looked surprised as the demon prince smiled and thanked them for coming. One angel however glared at the demon. "What is he doing here O'hono, a demon, the prince no less is only a hindrance to what we would be trying to do. He should not be here." the angel growled dangerously. O'hono broke the shielding of Kail and stood up.
"He is here and he will remain here, he wishes Kail no harm." O'hono growled back. The two angels growled dangerously at each other while the others looked on. Only Kiar moved forward when Kail gave a soft groan of pain.

"You angels will stop your bickering. That is an order." Takehiko said in a calm yet stern voice. "Kail is hurting. We must work together to help him. If you fight amongst yourselves, all you will do is contribute to his suffering. Now come. Help him."
Having said his peace, the demon turned back to his angel, kissing his hands and face.
"I love you, Kail. Just hang on." he whispered into the little angel's ear.

O'hono and the other angel turned surprised to the demon prince when he ordered him around. The angel who O'hono had been arguing with looked quite angry with the demon prince thinking he could order them around. "Love? You speak of love to him?! Demons do not have such emotions just as angels do not have hate." the angel growled.
"He loves Kail, Andre." O'hono growled. "If you refuse to help however then begone." she snarled and with a wave of her hand the angel was gone. "Anyone else?" she questioned to the others who shook their heads.
"Calm down love," Kiar called softly to her as he took the seat in which she had vacated near Kail's head. His ran his hands over the young angel's body without touching him. "He has a scar, that is what is allowing the negativity to reach him, more than likely it came from the human's torture." Kiar said closing his eyes to locate the scar. "Between his wings." he said finally.

Takehiko had nothing to say to the angel who attempted to berate him. He simply turned the other cheek until O'hono dismissed him.
Looking to Kiar, the prince focused on what the angel was saying.
"So my love had been scarred? How do we repair such? It is an easy task, yes?" he asked hopefully.

Kiar nodded, "It is easier than most purifying procedures. All we need to do is remove the scar and the entry way for negativity is closed. After we have done that all he will need is rest and some sunshine and he should be back to his normal bright self." Kiar said giving a soft relieved smile.
"Thats all. Thanks heavens." O'hono said with a relieved sigh of her own. "Lets move him then and do this." A few minutes later the five angels were gathered around Kail who was floating on his back in the center of them. All of the angels had there eyes closed concentrating on the young angel.

Stepping back, Takehiko allowed the angels to do their work. Anxiously, he watched and waited. At least he knew and trusted that the angels would have his love back to normal in only moments.

Slowly a small glow began to grow around Kail. Once the glow had surrounded the small angel's body completely the dark coloring of his wings began to fade slowly. The darkness seemed to entertwine into the glow and slowly make its way down the wings to Kail's back where Kiar had said the scar was.
The angel's had all the darkness centered in the scar and were ready to remove it. However as soon as the tried Kail's body lurched and he let out a scream. "No!" O'hono growled. "He wants him to fall."

Everything seemed to be going so well...until they prepared to finish. Kail's scream tore a gasp from the demon's throat, and the prince nearly panicked. Rushing to the edge of the circle, he cried out, "What's wrong? What is happening to him?!"

"Someone wants him to fall and the only person powerful enough to do that without standing here would be your father." O'hono explained. "If Kail falls, two things could happen, your father can accept him and make him a demon or he could send out a hunt which will kill Kail. Very few fallen make it to demon hood." O'hono continued.

"What?!" Takehiko roared.
"No. NO! How dare you, Father! You will not! YOU WILL NOT!!!!"
Wings flinging into full spread, fire surrounded the prince, a righteous flame of protection that, typically, one would only see from an angered angel. Leaping over the heads of the angels, Takehiko took Kail in his arms, the power from the angel's that was still flowing into Kail somehow burning his skin. Eyes aglow, he called out again.
"Release him, Father! Release him or I shall forsake you completely!"
A burst of energy seemed to come from within his body, and it was so forceful that it knocked the angels around them back several feet.
Clinging to Kail, a strange aura surrounded them both, purple and blue sparks beginning to emit from where the scar was.
With a scream of pain, Takehiko let go of the angel and fell to the ground, unconscious. He had removed the scar and taken it onto himself. It appeared in between his wings, right where it had been on Kail. The demon would sooner suffer than let Kail be in pain, or even worse, fall. His father knew now what Takehiko felt, and would either accept it or fight it.
Takehiko, however, was completely incapacitated for the moment, completely out cold.

O'hono, Kiar and the other angels were taken aback by Takehiko's sudden yell of protest against his father. O'hono was once again surprised to see the demon's wings but even more surprise by the righteous fire that protected him. "Don't break the circle." O'hono cried out to the other angels as Takehiko leaped over them and into the center of it. Seeing the burning of the demon prince from their power O'hono almost pulled her power back but she knew she couldn't.
It was difficult to watch as Takehiko struggled with his father for control of Kail's fate. The angels cried out as they were knocked back their concentration broken and their power fading away. O'hono, Kiar and the other angels watched in fear as the strange aura surrounded the demon prince and the small angel. Kail's body lurched once more and a scream tore past his lips as sparks errupted from the scar and it was suddenly torn from his body.
O'hono sent out her power to keep the small angel from falling to the ground, as she also lessened the blow that Takehiko would feel as he collapsed. "Quickly heal him." O'hono ordered to Kiar who quickly moved to Takehiko. O'hono grasped Kail who had reverted to his tiny form. Pulling down the back of the tiny angels shirt she checked for the scar. Happy to see it gone she was also worried because she knew where it had gone to.

Darkness. Such darkness as he had never known.
Takehiko was caught in a void, and the pain he felt was immeasurable. He screamed, but it was all in his head.
"Why have you forsaken me, my son?" a voice boomed out into the darkness.
"Father...." Takehiko gasped through the pain. "I love him. I love the angel! I love Kail!"
"It cannot be son. You must leave him. Come home." the lord of hell growled.
"No. Never. I will never leave his side." the prince responded.
"Then do as you will. There will be consequences." and with that, the voice faded away, leaving the prince trapped in his prison of darkness, trapped in his mind.

Kail gasped and suddenly awoke as O'hono took him outside into the sunlight. "Daisuke!" Kail yelled struggling to get free of O'hono's hold.
"Kail, Kail calm down." O'hono gasped keeping her hold on the small angel.
"No Daisuke, hes in trouble." Kail exclaimed transforming suddenly. He struggled out of O'hono's grasp and quickly ran back inside. He waisted no time dropping to his knees beside Takehiko.
"No! Kail Don't!" O'hono yelled sensing what the young angel was about to do. However it was too late Kail had already dived into the demon prince's mind.
"Daisuke!" Kail called out.
