Lexi had finished her Written Composition homework by now and was instead working on her Calculus AP B homework, which was actually more challenging, but she still could manage. When her phone vibrated again, she checked it with a smirk.
"Aw, that's sweet of you. Don't worry. I don't have sex 'til after the first date. lol jk, I don't have sex at all. ;]

Dlyan started his english homework, only half paying attention to it really. He raised his eye brows as he read the text. He wasn't sure what he should text back to that.
Well I guess thats good... I'm not really sure how to respond to that.

Lexi had finished all of her homework at this time and was now downstairs, talking with Kyle about his day at school. Upon laughing at an incredibly funy story he told her, she then looked down at her phone, which had vibrated when recieving his text.
Hey, you know what we should do sometime? We should actually go on an actual date... you know, like in public?

Dylan as finishing up his english, not really caring if he was getting it right. He then grabbed his phone as he finished the last few lines and read her text.
Did you just ask me out?
He was surprised, especially after their earlier conversations and the shift in conversation now was interesting and surprising. He did like the idea, he didn't really care about an image like she apparently did, or at least thats what he thought.

Hum. I guess I am.
Lexi then texted back as a smile came to her lips, curving them upwards with pure happiness. But it was at that moment, she thought of her friends. Of her social life. Of what everyone at school would whisper about her, behind her back as she passed them in the hallways. Not again. She had worked too hard to just let everything she worked for go to waste.

Dylan smiled at her new text. He was glad she was coming around to the idea.
Well I will accept your offer. I'd like a date.
When he sent it he was nervous. What is she changed her mind? What if she was joking? He didn't like the thought and then started on the last of his homework.

Lexi bit her lip, ashamed at what she had just done. Was she leading him on? Yes. Anyone could tell her that easily.
Well, maybe tomorrow after my cheerleading practice. Wanna go see a movie or something?
Damn, now she couldn't stop digging her hole of lies. Her mind almost immediately wandered to ditching him, but that would just get her a reputation and that would be horrible. God, what was a girl to do in this situation?

Dylan smiled even more, he was really glad she seemed to begetting over the whole school issue.
Movie sounds great. I don't care what we see. I can meet you at the theater if thats easier for you?
He hoped that she didn't want to see something stupid or too girly. But he would watch them either way, just to get a date with this girl. He felt sappy and desperate. So unlike him to be either of those things.

Um, yeah. I think that would be perfect.
Lexi quickly texted back before she got into the shower and began to clean off all of the chlorine that had been absorbed into her skin when she and Dylan were swimming in her pool earlier in the afternoon. After cleaning her body as much as possible, she got out of the shower and began to dry herself off, humming a cute pop song as she did so.

So what time do I meet you there?
Dylan stretched a little getting up from his desk chair. He reeked of chlorine but didn't much care. He planed to shower a little later. For now he slid his phone into his jeans pocket and headed to the kitchen for a snack. His mother didn't seem to be home yet. He figured dinner was going to be late or on his terms. Normal for the house.

Lexi had finished drying out her hair with her hairdryer and was at this point brushing it out enough so that it could be straightened. Staring at the mirror, at her reflection, she sighed. She never really was accustomed to not wearing any make up. And whenever she was seen without it, she always felt so... inadequate without it on.
Um, practice ends at 5:30. So I'm guessing around 7?

See you at 7 then.
Dylan popped a hot pocket in the microwave. He was kinda excited about the whole thing.

Alright. I can't wait either!
Lexi swiftly texted him back before she changed into her pajama pants with a plain white tanktop. She was actually excited for her second day of school more than the first. But the plaguing question of how her friends would react continued to pester her, even when she laid down and tried to comfort herself to sleep. God, it was frustrating. ((Timeskip?))

(when too?)
Dylan did a little dance in his bedroom and burnt his tongue on his hot pocket. Soon after he surfed on his computer until at least midnight before turning in. His sleep came easy, but tomorrow would be interesting.
