i'm very much interested in cute characters(especially male).. but i always look on the story line.. i like karin(chibi vampire) although the male heroine is not that cute.. excellent artwork gets my attention too.. 4laugh

I enjoy watching animes with awesome artworks. I don't watch animes that are gruesome. Like those with too much blood. but it all depend on the storyline of course.

I'm a complete newb, but I thoroughly, THOROUGHLY enjoyed the 2 episodes of Mushi-Shi I just got done watching here on Gaia. If anyone wants to suggest others like it that I can find, I'm game.

I'm not much into mecha, at least not the ones I've seen.

The Burst Angel eps I saw had some interesting elements, but overall I wouldn't trip over myself trying to see more.

Art style and tone and mood of the writing are important but the main thing I look for is a good storyline. If I like the storyline and the voice acting/writing and art isn't horrible(there isn't much I don't like) then I like it. I have to admit my favorites are Suzuka and Elfen Lied. Great storylines and elfen lied has some of the best art I have seen in an anime.

My favourites right now are Twelve Kingdoms, InuYasha, Witch Hunter Robin and Star Ocean. I still have lots to watch as we keep buying the complete seasons/box sets before finishing the one we are watching so I still have so many to watch lol.
