"How to Get Ahead in Advertising."

With Richard E. Grant, low budget and well-acted. It's clearly a comedy but it's a darkly cynical one. Just saw it on DVD, came free with the paper apparently. It's jolly good, my only irritation is that Bagley (Grant) is too much like Withnail. Has Richard Wilson too, and he was good. Though it was a bit of a shock to hear his opening lines sounding so much like Brian Sewell..

Underworld.

The last half hour was good, but I felt like killing myself at times during that film. It was so badly acted. And the script was terrible. And the plot was confused and non-existant until right near the end of the film.

I don't like the idea of things going this way, but I can't pretend it won't be a positive experience seeing hooligans filled in.
