"Well Teppou can't digivolve yet, you can come with us if you want to." Tsurugi said as he pulled his sack over his shoulder and walked down the stairs and waited outside of the inn.

Kay grabs her bag and follows after Tsurugi without a word. He seemed like he was angry or something, so she decides not to say anything that could possibly upset him further.

"I'm sorry about that Kay, I just don't like to be social..." Tsurugi said embarassed from the tree he was sitting in. Teppou was next to him, a grin on her face.

"Oh, I didn't know... I thought you were angry at me for some reason." Kay says, looking up into the tree towards Tsurugi. "Well, where do you think we're going?"
Veemon, noticing Teppou's grin, called up and asked her, "Whatchu grinnin' about, rabbit?"

Tsurugi smiled and hopped down, landing next to Kay. "So, where shall we go, Kay?" he said, sliding his hand around hers and gripping it gently.
"I'm wondering how fast you can dodge an acorn." Teppou said as she threw an acorn at Veemon.

"Well..." Kay says, smiling, "all I see around this town is forest, so I guess that's where we're going now. Whatever's on the other side, we'll just have to see when we get there."
Veemon, seeing the acorn, says, "What the heck?!" And hits it off his tail back at Teppou.

Tsurugi nodded, and kissed Kay on the cheek. "Incoming." stare he said with an emotionless look as he pulled Kay out of the way as a barrage of acorns poured on top of Veemon.

"Alright, onward bound!" Kay says enthusiastically. And, without even looking back, she says, "You, too, Veemon. Come on."
Veemon, covered in acorns, replies with a slightly muffled, "Be right with you..."

Teppou hopped down and landed on my shoulder, sticking her tongue out at Tony. Tsurugi walked onward, holding Kay's hand and giving a small squeeze.

Kay walks beside Tsurugi, her hand entwined with his. She feels extremely happy, with all the good weather and Tsurugi with me and everything. I smiled brightly and started walking faster, somewhat eager to keep going forward.
Veemon walks slightly behind Kay, still trying to get the taste of acorns out of his mouth.
