Folgor i miss the just overall crazy shows of the 1980's like not only cartoons but sitcoms and that stuff, its all reality it seems now, so sad D: Totally agree. My fave cartoons while growing up (and into adulthood): Fat Albert Flintstones Scooby-Doo Jetsons Popeye Alvin & The Chipmunks Captain Caveman Casper (The old ones before the '96 series) Chip & Dale (have the 1st season on dvd) Danger Mouse Duck Tales Garfield Heathcliff Punky Brewster (both live and ani) Jem Kidd Video Richie Rich The Littles Mighty Mouse Mork and Mindy (both live and ani) Jonny Quest Pac-Man Schoolhouse Rock Smurfs TMNT Transformers Thundercats Charlie Brown Tom & Jerry Captain Planet Also, pretty much all the Hanna-Barbera stuff, all the Super Power/Super Friends shows, all the Looney Tunes, etc. You know. All the Really good stuff. Of more modern shows, I only like Simpson's, Family Guy, American Dad and Futurama. I don't really watch cartoons much anymore. On occasion, I do pull out my Disney collection of old cartoon shorts (gotta love that Walt Disney Treasures series). A good cartoon site: www.toonarific.com and for 80's only: www.80scartoons.net

Though I occasionally quote Captain Cave Man today to get a laugh every now and then.

TMT, Garfield (and his friends), Duck Tails, Pepper Ann, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Looney Tunes, and Tailspin. Oh, I liked Recess as well. Back in the day when there were mostly good shows on the Disney Channel.

Today's cartoons are absolute drivel. It's depressing.
Animaniacs, TMNT, Batman, Terrible Thunderlizards, Bump In The Night, Tiny Toons, Bucky O'Hare, The Tick, etc.

The only good cartoon out of America lately has been Avatar, which (shock, gasp amaze!) actually has a story.
Growing up: Darkwing Duck Duck Tales Tale Spin Sonic TMNT (I own one season on DVD right now, my son watches it) Gargoyles Mutant League Little Mermaid Wild Cats Super Mario Brothers Doug Angry Beavers Tiny Toon Adventures Garfield (huge favorite) Looney Toons Captain Planet Scooby-Doo Flinstones Chip & Dale Alvin and the Chipmunks (I've got the Chimpmunk Adventure on DVD) The one with the Cave Man boy living with Mammoths (don't remember the name) He-Man (the old moving comics series, not the newer actually animated one) X-men Spiderman Ghost Writer (not a cartoon, but yeah....) There was another show about 3 kids with powers and a barbarian guy protecting them....names escape me again

Tsuki Chan Sempai Remember Thunder Cats and Smurfs and old school TMNT? and Cartoons that taught you stuff about how to be a good human being like Care Bears and Capitan Planet... And Cartoons that taught you stuff like School House Rock and Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego Fox and ABC had the best cartoons and WB wasn't around yet Ah man those were the days. I miss those cartoons. WTF is the ADD crap they're showing to kids these days? The only things worth watching are the adult targeted shows like Family Guy and such, but it's nothing like the good wholesome cartoons of our youth. There's Anime but once an american company licenses it gets mutated into so much ADD Crap like the rest of them. Believe it! So lets all b***h about the crap kids are watching these days and reminisce about the cartoons of our childhood ^^ What was your fav childhood cartoon? I grew up on a lot of cartoons from the 80s and some from the 90s. Most of today's are cheaply made and sorry. One would think they would have learn from the video games about making cheap sorry games. There are a few good ones that come on but not many.
Ones I watched growing up Inspector Gadget Transformers Transformers Beast Wars ThurderCats Silver Hawks GI Joe TMNT Rainbowbrite Danger Mouse Darkwing Duck Inhumaniods Robotix Gobots Super Mario Brothers Zelda Voltron and a lot of anime that was known as cartoons back in the 80s.

I remember so many old ones it hard to list them all and there where some I loved that now I'm older are really lame LOL. I mainly love Looney Tunes and Chuck Avery Cartoons.
Oh there was one anime that was on when i was oh six or seven it was kinda for older adults but mom let me watch it anyways it had a fantasy/gundam feeling theme to it and was drawn like the anime cartoons of today realistic I don't remember what it was called but there was a guy who could turn into this giant robot that was the hero of the story.

I'll always remain a kid at heart in regards to cartoons. Though as of late I see more and more cartoons that are a mockery of what I grew up with. I loved the old Hanna Barbara cartoons and the classic Looney Tunes.
