It won't taste as good when it's old and the lady person behind the counter said they'd just throw out all the stuff that doesn't get eated! gonk crying Miro doesn't want all the tasty pastries to go to waste crying

:: her stomach growls again and she holds her hand over her mouth as she starts to feel a bit nauseous ::

*furrows his brow when he sees how bad Miro looks. On the one hand, he doesn't want to make her upset again by doing something she didn't like, but on the other hand... sweatdrop

While he's debating internally on what would be the best thing to do, he sees her going for another bite. Without thinking, he grabs up the pie dish and holds it out of her reach, his expression now the most stern it's ever been since he came into being at the baptism*

No! You've had more than enough! stressed

*surprised by his actions and the sound of his own voice, his expression quickly changes. Judging by the way Miro is looking at him, she's just as surprised as he is. Blushing slightly, he sheepishly places the pie dish back on the table*

I.... I'm sorry. I don't know why I did that....

*pushes it back toward the cleric*
It's yours...

:: keeps staring at him, a bit stunned. That was definitely Draa's voice, and for that brief moment when it emerged, Vassnta's skin and hair had faded from it's normal pristine white to some kind of off-white color. However, it had happened so quickly that she wondered if it was just the nausea making her see things sweatdrop

She pushes the pie back toward Vassnta and sits back in her chair. ::

Miro thinks she's done now sweatdrop But we can still take the leftovers for later redface

*he isn't sure he likes the tone of voice that he'd used with her, but he's glad that she decided to stop at least. It didn't seem good for her to continue on like she was. He gives her a sweet smile and nods, asking one of the employees for something to take the pie home in. After it's packed up, he gets up to leave with Miro, only to find that she's too sick to even get out of her chair by herself sweatdrop

The employee offers to call them a cab, but being that the apartment isn't too far away, Vassnta figures he can just carry her. He kneels down by her chair facing away from her, and with the employee's help, Miro is hoisted onto his back, though with both of his hands being used to help keep her there, he doesn't really have any means to bring the pie home. The employee tries to be helpful by getting out a bag with handles and hanging it around his neck, though getting it over his horns proves a bit difficult. It's figured out eventually and Vassnta bids her farewell, leaving with the sick cleric*

*Scurries in to Lily's for a thermos full of hot cocoa.* Blast, it can't be that time of year already. *The staff hands her back her thermos and a bag full of fresh-from-the-oven Snickerdoodles.* Oh, your such a dear. Now I'm off to start a Holiday Thread. *Waves goodbye as she rushes out the door.*

*Skates in to drop off some supplies and put up some decorations for the holidays.*

*She looks over at the fireplace, surprisingly the staff has kept it swept out. Laying the kindling, she starts a fire going, smiling softly.*

*Humming along, she places a sprig of Mistletoe over the door, then sets out Poinsettias, Christmas Cactus, and Holly around the room, careful to keep them away from the food stuff.* Now where are the lights?

*Finishing stringing the lights, she zips outside and drags in a 8 foot Noble, wrestling it through the doors.* Crikey! Where's Moon when I need him?

Catching the look from her, he grabs hold of the tree and sets it against the wall, waiting for her to collect the stand.

After setting the tree in the stand and filling it with sugar water, he steps back to let her decorate, admiring the curve of her backside as she bends over to pull ornaments out of the box.

Lily finishes deocrating the tree, while Harv puts up another sprig of Mistletoe on the doorway to the kitchen. When Lily heads in to start baking, he catches her around the waist, pointing up. Uh,hum... Slipping his fingers in to her hair, he pulls her closer, kissing her.
