Kyo got off the bed and headed to the bathroom to wash up. It was nearly the weekend, and he wondered what their plans would be. Maybe they can watch a movie or something.

Once the food was done, he set the table and went to change into his own clothes for the day.

Kyo rushed downstairs once he finished, taking a seat at the kitchen table and wasting no time in eating his breakfast.

Gikishou smiled when he came down and saw Kyo wolfing the food down. "Someone's got a healthy appetite. It's good to see that you're eating enough."

Kyo paused, blushing when he realized that he had actually been hungrier than usual. "O-oh... I didn't notice. How funny..."

He shook his head. "Don't be embarrassed. A healthy appetite is a good one, and an increase in appetite at your age probably means a growth spurt."

"Growth spurt? So I'm not going to be so short anymore?" Kyo asked excitedly. "Phew! I was starting to worry that I had already reached my maximum height."

Kyo soon got into the truck. All of a sudden, what had nearly happened yesterday struck his mind and he stiffened. Now he dreaded going to school.

Gikishou didn't notice and drove to the school. When they got out, he kissed the top of Kyo's head. "This time, I'll meet you at your classroom." He promised.

Kyo nodded. "O-okay..." He was really nervous about going to class, but at least he wouldn't have to be afraid of leaving it.
