Dani watched as the scrimmage developed into its usual series of bout of 'Keep Away' as the Chasers traded possession of the Quaffle back and forth between the Red and Gold squads. Finally, Celaena made a run for the goals she was defending.

Dani made the attempt to stop the Quaffle before it could pass through the hoops she was defending.

Dani threw herself toward the far hoop, trying to stop Celaena's shot on goal, and leaned over and stretched as far as she was capable. Maddeningly, she felt the tips of her fingers just brush the Quaffle as it passed through to score.

Pushing aside her failure, Dani collected the Quaffle and tossed it toward Rosabella, and hoped she could tie the game up, making up for her lapse.

Addie felt terrible as the bludger made contact with Pru. She was about to wind up another shot when she noticed Nina set up another hit towards Rosabella. Quickly the girl attempted to move into position to hit the bludger back at one of the opposing teammates. She decided to change it up and send one towards Alex.

Pru yelled in pain when a bludger slammed into her right foot. She tried to wriggle it experimentally, and gasped as pain lanced up her ankle and down into her toes. Yeah, she definitely wasn't walking on this. She was't even going to be able to completely land, because that would require firmly getting both feet on the ground. Still, she couldn't worry about it now. She did her best to ignore the pain and fly near Rosabella, in case the older girl had to pass.

Rosabella thought she had been doing very well in avoiding the others. That is, until a bludger slammed into her lower back. A shrilling cry escaped the girl's lips, for the ball inflicted an enormous amount of pain. Choking back tears, Bella tossed the quaffle to Pru. Honestly, she wanted to take a break and get rid of the ache in her back; however, she couldn't. If this was a real game, she'd have to keep her head in the game and keep playing. If she gave up now, she wouldn't make the team. Rosabella followed behind slowly, rubbing her back with one hand while holding onto the broom with the other.

Addie felt like a complete arse as the second missed bludger crashed into Bella. Deciding to forgo this whole playing defense against a better shot she shot towards one of the bludgers and lined up a shot towards Joel again. There was no way she would make the team if she kept up this crappy performance.

He barely had time to celebrate before Bella got back the quaffle and even got hit with a quaffle. She winced in sympathy but she still went after the younger girl to try and get it back.

Rosabella mumbled a curse from underneath her breath as she watched the quaffle she had tossed get intercepted by Tanya, who took off in the opposite direction the moment her fingers wrapped around the ball. Although her back still ached, the sixth year flew after the older girl and reached out to try and smack the quaffle out of her grasp once she was close enough in proximity.
